This has been tested and works fine as a few of the pictures show. This unit was purchased on January 12-1967 according to the guarantee. The unit measures 10 1/2 inches long, 8 3/4 inches wide and is 3 1/2 inches tall. Sold"as-is" and was working when I took these photos. The tube is not included. It is a tube tester for Radio and T. V. tubes, this is before zip codes. this came from a auction house. The case show wear, the top of case has hole through the skin of the case only about double what the last picture shows, they are only through the skin, not hole through the case. see pictures. Accurate Instrument Co. Radio Vacuum Tube Tester Model 157 with Instructions Seems to work okay. I haven't extensively used it. But the bulbs that I did test showed good readings, and the indicator light glows when it should. The outside of the case is worn, and the hardware has some rust. Comes with an Operating Instructions Booklet. The Do-It-Yourself TV Trouble Shooters Guide, and an old advertisement. I noticed a few things circled or marked in the booklets.

Vintage Accurate Instruments Model 157 Tube Tester Working Well
For sale here is a tube tester from Accurate Instruments. Model 157. Includes tube chart for setting the tester for the various vacuum tubes most commonly encountered in TV. Radio, and Audio applications. I used this for several years and it is pretty reliable. Depending on the shape of the tube prongs you may have to occasionally rock the tube slightly on some sockets. It does have pin straighteners for the 7 and 9 pin miniatures. I have other testers and this one never failed to find a bad one. It is fairly easy to use. Shipping weight is 8 lbs. Thanks.
