All I know was I was told it worked when I bought it, many years ago, I never pluged it in, I used it for show, and some where over the years I lost the test leads.

The outer case has some wear spots but is in overall good shape. The inner lid of the case has some signs of wear around the edges, the outer latch hardware metal has some oxidation. Mid 1960's business executive's briefcase, in both size and style. this decked out machine looks more at home in a mid-century office, than on at the electronics tech's bench. Very cool to use and look at, these are verifiably collectible. The appeal does not end there. it's the flagship Sencore tube tester- very expensive when new- not as popular as competitor's B&K models- and much more involved and capable. Sencore went the high road with aesthetics. And sold these back in the 1960s for huge money. This is a vintage TV 2 tube tester made by LaPointe Industries in good condition. Serial number is# 200. If you know this tube tester it can test many types of tubes with adjustments of many tube variables. I tested a few tubes with this recently after bringing it up slowly on a Variac. It seems to work as described in an online manual I found. But as with any vintage electronics it may need some refurbishment for good operation. This is also not calibrated. One small issue is a hairline crack in the glass on the signal meter. It's very difficult to see, but I wanted to disclose at least everything that I observed. Tube selection roll rotates freely and is in good condition. This is considered a portable tube tester of the dynamic mutual conductance type, but it does weigh almost 40 lbs. It is used to test and to measure performance capabilities ... moreand to determine rejection limit for electron tubes used in receivers, low-powered transmitters, and other electronic equipment. Great vintage tube checker that works! I was able to test a few tubes on it. I got this from an estate sale where they were selling old radios. Tubes and such. The original operating instructions and tube chart were a bit worn out.but i was able to find a copy online and have included a printed copy. The GE Tube Checker. TC-3A, is an emission type tube checker. Tubes are tested for quality by a test wherein the grid is placed at cathode potential while the screen is placed at a lower potential then the plate. Tis is a vintage Master Analyst Model 504. Made by Radio City Co. I bought this at a radio auction I am not shure how it works. It measures 9" x 7" It has the five adapters the are plugged in. On it it says Top Buttons For Currant and Voltage, Bottom Buttons For Voltage Only. It has tung& groove corners. The buttons all work, the cloth cord is in very good condition, and the other tube cord is in very good condition. The wood is dry, has some scratches, maybe just needs some oil. This is a vintage electronic tube tester set in the original wooden box. The box is in rough shape but still sound. There is a handle on the case that is in good condition. The unit comes with 2 different plug-in cables with 3 different adapters as well as the power plug. The unit powers up when plugged in. And by moving a few switches I see the"leakage" light illuminate as well. I have no other way of testing the operation of this unit but it does turn on. It also comes with the original Manual. Vintage SENCORE Mighty Mite II TC114 Vacuum Tube Tester With Manual- WORKS! Has a mirror inside the lid! Nice condition as shown in the pictures. Comes with original Sencore setup manual. I tested it with several different types of tubes and it works flawlessly. Measures about 10 inches by 9 1/4 inches by 3 1/2 inches so it's a nice compact size that's easy to store and carry around. Only issue is a few scratches and some wear here and there. And some electrical tape on a small section of the power cord(see pics) but otherwise it's quite nice and functional. Vintage Eico Vacuum Tube Tester Model 625 Electronic Test equipment
This tester seems to work ok. Occasionally I would have to flip or rotate the switches a couple of times to get it to work. The more I used it. The better it seemed to work. I'm not for sure but it would seem that maybe some of the contacts need cleaned, maybe blown out? Also the needle seems to jump or jitter around while testing, I don't know if this is normal. The face plate is in pretty good condition with some minor dings and scuffs. The outer housing is missing a lot of the finish and has some minor surface rust. I'm not sure if the two light bulbs on the lower corners are working. They had never came on when I tested a few tubes. It looks like the power cord may have been replaced. The information/data scroll has one small spot that had been tore and taped back together(see picture) My knowledge of things of this nature ... moreare minimal. So please ask any questions that I may not have answered in this description. This is an older electronic item that is being sold as is. The vacuum tube being tested in the picture is NOT included.
