Nice used Heathkit IT-17 tube tester I tested several known good tubes and it seems to be functioning ok one knob missing on lower center outside case could use some repaint as is no reserve

Vintage HEATHKIT MODEL TC-1 Vacuum Radio Audio Tube Tester
Vintage test equipment in used condition. Has scratches and cracks on the meter cover. Missing/wrong screws on face plate. The carrying case shows signs of wear but overall good condition. The units is a bit grungy and could use a cleaning. The paper reel is intact with no tears but the thumb dial hangs up a bit in certain spots. Testing: Unit powers up. The line adjust works. Tested a few known good and bad tubes on the 9-pin socket only. It"passed" the good tubes and"failed" the bad ones so it appears to be somewhat functional. Instrument is not/has not been calibrated so accuracy is not known. That is the extent of the testing that was done. Comes with a supplemental test data sheets from 1962 and 1963. Heathkit V-7A vacuum tube voltmeter& ohmmeter with the hard-to-find high voltage probe for vacuum tubes(see photo) Unit appears to work. But I did not test every function. This meter does not come with a manual. There are minor scuffs to the front of the clear plastic meter cover. And a small crack along the top of the clear plastic. The red terminal(AC) connector wiggles a bit, but it may just be the kind of connector(old replacement? Other than that, the unit is in good shape. Returns: Your satisfaction is important. Test sockets for: 8 pin octal and loctal sockets, 4, 5, 6, 7 pin early type tubes and 7,9 pin miniature tubes. All switches, controls and sockets have been cleaned. Circuit capacitor replaced. Roll chart works very well, window and good power cord. Great for testing amplifier, audio, hi/fi, stereo, guitar amp, radio and tv tubes. Shows some age, but is in overall very good condition. Heathkit is a division of Raytheon Corp. Recently purchased the tester from a storage facility auction. I tested several tubes and appears to work very well. I have sold and tested many a vintage tubes so I do have experience with this tester. Heathkit IT-21 vacuum tube tester
Seems to work fine but I don't know much about them. I tested a bunch of tubes and so I think it's fine but I have to sell it as-is since I don't know how to test all the functions. There's one cable that I showed in the second picture that is clipped off. I have no idea what it's for. Here's a very nice Heathkit TC-2 tube tester in full-working condition. The light-up data roller is very cool. The unit has been tested with new-old tubes and found to read within manufacturer specs. This is an emissions-type tester. So it doesn't test for mutual conductance. It comes with the original users manual(not pictured) and tube-data update booklets. The plate-clip lead wire has some brittle insulation that can be taped or replaced. Please make sure the item is suitable for your needs. Heathkit TT-1 & TTA-1-1 Vacuum Tube/Valve Conductance Tester
Hey guys. Up for sale is my Heathkit TT-1 Tube/Valve tester along with the rare optioned TTA-1-1 in the top of the lid. This machine is in museum quality condition and works great. The only issue with it is that view finder with the red line has fallen out of the tube rolodex/chart. However with some 2 faced tape. It can easily be reinstalled. The needle does not always fully line up with the Line Check, so I am going to assume it needs to be calibrated. It does line up though once fully warmed up when testing. Other than that this machine is in great original working condition. I however do not have the original power cord to it, but a usable one will be included. Comes with the original special valve manual along with a couple other print off of the original manual and a few other documents. Due to the age of this thing. I am going to assume ... morethat this machine does need a cap or two replaced. However for an experienced tech or a at home person with the knowledge, this would be very easy to do. Tube tester is in its original carrying case as seen in the photos. The case is in nice shape and has normal wear on the surface. Could use a good cleaning. Tube tester works as it should and needs the red wire replaced(has a crack in it) Face is in great shape with no dents. No rust, no deep scratches, no cracks and all the lettering is in great shape. Any ... moreelectronics for that matter. I purchased it in a lot at auction. I can tell you I plugged it in. The lights came on under the chart(picture 2) and the needle went to center. Well, almost center, in the yellow anyway, as shown in picture 9. The chart is a little off kilter. And when you roll it, it's not always even and dips and rises as you're turning it, and seems loose inside. Maybe there's an adjustment underneath to take up the slack? There is a cut/ splitting in the casing of the red wire in more than one spot. So that will need to be changed. There is a pretty good patina build up on some spots. It surely needs a good cleaning. There is also some cracking at the top of the clear"window" covering the needle as shown in picture 9. Nothing horrible. The case is pretty crappy. The covering is peeling all over and one corner is coming apart or has come apart and barely hanging together. Also. It's clearly been stored in a basement, so has that musty basement smell. It comes with the manual which is hallway decent shape. Certainly useable, and a"Tube Test Data" booklet for Heath Model TC-1& TC-2 for use with roll chart 1-1-66, which this

Heathkit TT-1A w/ Manuals Refurbished Calibrated Transconductance Tube Tester as seen in pictures. This includes the adapter kit for later tubes. Power cable, Assembly manual, and supplementary tube data, ALL electrolytic and leaky coupling capacitors. Plus a few resistors have been replaced. I'll include them all with this listing. Both(internal) tubes test as new on my calibrated Hickok 539C Calibration has been performed as per the heathkit manual. This is an electrically excellent performer! Right on par with my 539C. As you can see. The tube under test is a 6000 gm bogey tube, and it is spot on on this tester! Using 3x meter scale on 6l6) Ponoma and vector socket savers installed on the 7.8, and 9 pin test sockets. Physically. The plastic piece with a red line for the roll chart has come partially undone(but the roll chart works ... moreflawlessly) Some scuffing on meter plastic, and face. Casing is in good overall shape. Two Heathkit TC-2 tube testers. Both light up and I used them for vintage tubes when I played in a rock band. One is missing a few switch tips. Which are incredibly, the same tips used on old Fender'50's Telecasters an Esquires. They sell for at least $25 apiece. Vintage Heath Co. Heathkit Vacuum Tube Tester Checker Model TC-2 With Manual This is a nice vintage Heathkit TC-2 tube tester. It has only been tested to power up. It does power up with no issues. The light behind the tube list comes on and the needle on the meter goes to the yellow area when powered up. No further testing has been done. Overall this does have wear but looks good for its age. Outside case is original and has general surface wear. Corners are beat up and one is especially torn. Looks like someone added tape all the way around or it was put there by the company(looks decorative) Overall size is 14 1/2" x 12" x 6 1/2" The lid inside has a place where it is gaping but still sealed from outside. see last pic) A bit musty smelling.No burning smell hisses or noise.
