This is ... morethe Sencore BIG MACK CR-168 Universal CRT Tube Tester. According to the units Setup Booklet, the tester was made in 1986 by Sencore INC, Sioux Falls, SD, in USA. I don't know anything about this tester or how to operate it other than I did plug it in and turned the on-off switch to the"on" position and the needle under the plastic dial jumped up a little, then dropped back down. So, I assume the unit does still work. But, I do not know how to operate it nor do I have a tube to try to test it verifying its working condition. It appears to have been hardly used and is in very nice condition. It looks like a more advanced tube tester. It still has all of the numbered plug adapter's and it looks like you can test a variety of different size tubes. The case is in real good condition. See Photo's) Along with the Setup Booklet, comes the original 12-page guarantee pamphlet also. Hard to believe this paperwork was still inside it, so someone must have taken real good care of the tube tester over all these years. I am listing this for what I believe is a lower price compared to other similar tester's I've seen sold on e-Bay. So hopefully someone will be able to get some use out of it. Octal, Loctal, 9 pin, 7 pin peanuts, and others, but none from the pre-octal period. It also has a harness for testing TV picture tubes. It comes with 3 original manuals. The TC114 operating instructions(11 pgs. but with a rough front cover) a 4 by 5.5 inch 78 pg tube set-up book showing the tester tube switch settings; and a second compact 3 by 6 inch set-up book showing the tester tube switch settings. Sencore Mutual Conductance tube tester
This is a used Sencore Mutual Conductance MU150 Continental II tube tester. It is in like new condition. It appears to have been used very little. I tested a known bad 6SN7GTA on the EM setting and it appears to be right on. I then checked a known good used 6V6GTA as shown in pictures. Checked EM. Grid leakage, and Mutual Conductance. Appears to be right on. You need to assume it to be uncalibrated. The overall condition of the case is nice. The metal has some minor rust around the latches. There is a round metal piece missing on top of one of the knobs. Due to age and not being a technician bid accordingly. No returns. It weighs 22lbs. Any overage on postage will be refunded.

Here is a Sencore TC162 Mighty Mite tube tester that is in very good working condition. It is a nice little portable unit with plenty of functions. I checked the inner electronics for signs of rust or water damage and there is none. All the electronics are super clean. I t comes with its tube manual permanently mounted in the cover. The knob on the right is not original but it fits and works perfectly. I tested some tubes with it and the zero function works fine and it checks correctly for emission and leakage(see pictures) I back this up as being fully functional or you can return it for a full refund. Jackson 648R fully functional tube tester..reconditioned. Not Sencore or B&K
The controls have been cleaned and adjusted. New capacitor and resistors checked for tolerance. I used a reference set of tubes to validate test results against my calibrated TV-7 and it passed with flying colors. Shown testing good reference 6L6, 5Y3, and 12AX7. Also used a 6L6 with known short to validate that shorts test operates properly. I will warrant this tester to be fully funcional for all the tubes I validate against. The case is solid with no loose joints and good hinges, but some of the tolxex covering shows wear and could use attention. This will make someone a very reliable tube tester. I am also checking out a Sencore MU150 Continental II and a B&K 747 that will be available later.

They staged educaton seminars for technitions back then, showing off all of the advanced features the MU150 had, compared to other types of portables. A tube era technition or traveling engineer generally left Sencore's show, feeling these were the deus-ex machina of tube troubles! It's quite ... moretrue. If you did audio repairs back then, having a set that tested Mutual Conductance on many tubes, with an available conversion chart to GM/Micromhos was somthing only a few machines could do. Added to the over-the-top GAS/ shorts bridge- it's one heck of a sensitive checker. The MU150(an updated version of the MU140) Really does the extra mile to find trouble making tubes. It's why tube amp guys pay so much for it's far less capapable sibling, the"MityMite" for the GRID LEAKAGE test. When in this mode, the MU150 uses it's sensitive bridge to find noisy and"GASSY" tubes. The large tube bridge-meter is like a microscope compared to even the most expensive Laboratory machines! The MU150 was designed to quickly determine if your power tube WILL WORK. HOW STRONG IT IS, and finally to MATCH it up gain wise with others. I was not able to test this unit. It powered on and had no funny burning smells when plugged in. I know nothing about tube testers and had no tubes to test. THIS UNIT WILL BE SOLD AS IS! I took many pictures of the cosmetic condition of the unit so PLEASE LOOK AT THEM IN DETAIL SO YOU WILL BE AWARE OF THEM BEFORE BUYING. THE HINGES AND LATCHES AND HANDLE OF THE CASE ARE IN GOOD WORKING ORDER BUT HAVE RUST. There are spots on the units face and on the plastic gauge cover- could be paint splatter. Sencore TC162 Mighty Mite. I just replaced 2 capacitors and calibrated the unit. Works Great. I am also including some New Socket Savers for the 8 and 9 pin sockets. Book is in good shape. Sencore's are great testers that will for sure weed out a bad tube. Even guys with testers that cost a lot more money use a Sencore for initial tests and shorts test. Condition is decent. It wont win prizes but its average with no real dents just some scratches. Hinge and handle are fine. Some minor light surface rust to inside of lid around tube chart.

Very cool to use and look at, these are verifiably collectible. Sencore MU150 Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester (For Parts/Repair)
SENCORE M TUBE TESTER(FOR PARTS/REPAIR) Sold as parts/repair unit- no refunds. This was near the top of the line(if not THE top of the line) tube tester in the Sencore line. Produced in the 1960's I believe. When fully working, this model is capable of testing for dynamic mutual conductance, emissions, shorts, life test, and grid leakage. Good physical condition. With some signs of rust on metal/chrome band that goes around the case. Handle/latches work fine. Unit weighs about 22lbs by itself. Opened up the unit to take a picture of internals for potential buyers. Saw one resistor(upper left in photo) that appeared to have some signs of overheating. And one of the tubes(upper one in picture) appears to have some white residue inside(not sure if that's normal or sign of a bad tube) Shipping charge is set for cross-country charge. Sencore TC-162 Mighty Mite Tube Tester Great Shape Fully Functional
Here is a Sencore TC162 vacuum tube tester that is in really good shape. It is part of my collection of many tube testers and is fully functional. It is shown in one picture testing a 6V6 tube. It has a safety power cord and the inside panel is great looking. I do not know of its last calibration. However, comparing it to values obtained on a tube by my calibrated machines, it's spot on. The small rubber feet have become very brittle and will need replacing if you so desire. This of course does not affect performance. Please feel free to ask any questions. Thanks for looking. Sencore MU-150 Mutual Conductance Tube Tester Fully Functional
Due to having 2 of these testers. I have decided to sell one of them. This is a Sencore MU-150 mutual conductance tube tester that was electrically restored and calibrated in March, 2003. I would very safely say that I have tested about 25 tubes on it since then. It works great. I ran a test this morning on a 12AU7, seen in the photos, and it performed fine. There is normal wear on the unit, to be expected. There is a date inside the unit on the meter back of 1968. The 2 tubes it uses were both tested on the other like it and tested good for emissions, shorts, and mutual conductance. This is a great tester for folks that like to"tube roll" their amplifiers. Vintage Sencore Mighty Mite Tube Tester. Model# TC-109. Works great. Comes with a tube test set-up manual, instructions are printed on the top panel. Test sockets for 8 pin octal and loctal tubes and 7,9 pin miniature tubes. All controls, switches and sockets were cleaned. Circuit capacitor replaced, new power cord. 7,9 pin sockets replaced. Cover hinge repaired with pop rivet. Printing for D selector letters were replaced with label maker letters. The function control stop doesn't stop but tester still works fine. Great for testing amplifier, audio, hi/fi, stereo, radio and tv tubes. Shows some age but is in overall good condition.

As you can see from the pictures, it is still calibrated from the factory. The Grid Leakage and Emission calibration was right on, and also checked the shorts function as well which also checked out perfect. The pictures show the calibration module in the#1 socket and the emission and grid leakage being checked. The trimmers that make the adjustments for emissions and grid leakage calibration still have the glue on from the factory and have never been adjusted. The tester comes with the tube data book and the manual is readily available on-line at no charge. And if you have any problems getting a copy let me know and I can send you a PDF copy. The Sencore TC131 is calibrated before each use by simply pushing down on the calibration knob and aligning the needle to the calibration line. The tester has been tested and found shorts in a metal 6L6 that went previously undetected in a Hickok tester and can be seen being tested in the pictures as well as a good 6L6. This TC131 has a grounded AC cord that is grounded to the metal case of the tester and not the chassis.
