It is a 4 piece 7 foot 6 inch Trailmaster casting fishing rod made by Wright McGill Eagle Claw for Dave Cook.one of the two huge sporting good stores in the Denver Metro area. This was eventually absorbed by its main competitor Gart Bros. It is marked Dave Cook Trail Rod 100A by Wright McGill. With Wright McGill also in the Denver area they made several rod models over the years to be marked and marketed as Dave Cook. It comes in their readily identifiable aluminum tube and this one is in exellent condition. This is the spin/fly fishing combo.just reverse the grip. It is rated for 2-10 pound mono and 1/8 to 1/2 oz lures. As a fly rod it is rated for a 7 weight line but I have found that it throws a WF-6-F nearly as well. Here is a vintage Wright and McGill Trailmaster pack rod. This rod is used but still in very good condition with good guides. Good wraps and good cork. There are some light marks so you can tell it was used. The Wright McGill metal emblem is gone from the short piece of cork or 2nd section. The sleeve is excellent and the tube is used and has marks but no dents and nice cap with chain. This is a really nice rod. Buyer to pay $8 shipping, thanks.

Used a few times but not abused. Still grades excellent condition overall. Butt section is signed"WRIGHT& McGill"TRAILMASTER" 7-1/2 FT. NO. 4 TMF TRADE MARK. Reel seat is signed"PAT. APR. 12. 1938 NO. 2,114,107 MADE BY WRIGHT& McGill ROD CO. DENVER, COLO. U.S.A. Reel seat, ferrules, etc. appear to be German silver. Cork has very little soil. All wraps are intact but one snake guide apparently pulled out on one end and was stuck back under the threads. Still a very nice usable rod in original heavy aluminum tube. I will combine shipping whenever possible, and normally will ship worldwide within one day of eceiving payment. R.I. residents must add 7% sales tax. 2 Wright McGill Trailmaster Fishing Rods 7 1/2 ft M4TMU & 4TMU Fly Eagle Claw
This is a group of two Eagle Claw Wright& McGill Trailmaster fishing rods. The first is a 7 1/2 foot M4TMU for line size 7. In very nice shape. Has the cover and case. The metal case has a few dings, but the rod has no problems. The other is a 4TMU, 7 1/2 foot for line size 7. All the pieces are there and fits perfect, but the cover is torn at the bottom, and the varnish seems to be flaking. You get both for $91.00, and free P&H to the US.
