Ohio the rod measures 54”in length and is in good condition. The cork handle is intact and clean. The ferrule holding the rod tip to the handle is still very tight and comes apart with a pop. While I’m not familiar with these rods. The line guides and their bindings appear to be original and are in good condition. The inside of the reel seat has the following stamped on it: Mfg. By The American Fork and Hoe Company Geneva. Ohio” The bottom of the reel seat has“Speedlock” Pat. No. 1534674 stamped on it. The cloth rod sock is original and in good to very good condition and comes with the piece of dowel rod inserted in the sock to keep the rod from getting bent. Selling a rare vintage 3 piece casting rod. I was not able to locate any info on this rod and tried researching for a possible maker/model but came up empty. My guess would be from late 1800's. Early 1900's. Again, just an educational guess. Rod is 3-piece, however, the bottom piece has separated from the rod handle(could be re-glued together? Sold as is, for parts or repair. The rod is solid metal(including the guides) with cork grip. Has a trigger which indicates it's a bait casting/ casting rod. When put together, rod measures approximately 8' 1" in length from top to bottom. While auction runs. Partial leaping fish decal(about 90 percent intact) Etched on the metal(possibly nickel silver) seat: HEDDON'S. Also a nice feather arrow etched on the ring. About 5' in length. Original metal tube with etching on cap: HEDDON'S DOWAGIAC. Not the usual screw cap. This one has an L shaped notch on the side that slides into a screw on the body to secure in place. Vintage Premax Metal Casting Rod, unused.
Here's a vintage Premax metal casting rod. Made in Niagara Falls. This is a 54" rod with the original rod sleeve. The rod appears unused and in mint condition with the exception of paint flaking off of the tip. The rod coating appears to be a translucent material. My guess is that the tip may have once been bent slightly causing cracking and flaking of the coating This could probably be easily touched up. I've enclosed numerous photos to try and show the rod as best possible.

In the first picture there appears to be a curve in the rod, this is due to the camera's distortion of the image. Each section fits tightly together and the rod could still be used today. There is no bag or tube. The rod will be shipped in a heavy cardboard tube. Shipping within the U.S. is $7.00.
