Vintage Mark IV Controlled Flex Action Casting Rod Model 6906
Up for bid is a beautiful Vintage Heddon Spin Casting or Bait Casting Rod with the Original Tube and Cap in Very Good + condition. This is a Model 6906. Mark IV, 6 1/2' Controlled Flex Action Tubular Glass Rod with Aluminum Ferrules and Carboloy Guides. Walnut accents in the handle look like new, even the sticker shows minimal signs of wear.

It has use marks, remnants of a sticker on the handle and some chips in the paint. The rod itself and the eyelets appear to be in great shape. For your consideration I am listing a nice used HEDDON PAL two piece fishing rod. Printed on the rod is: HEDDON PAL#6903 MARK IV 6' CONTROLLED FLEX ACTION. The rid has it's original green. Red and gold label on it. The handle has two bands of walnut wood. In between the walnut wood is a band that has HEDDON all the way around it. The foregrip piece is also made out of wanut wood. There is a jumping fish on the handle and HEDDON underneath the fish. This is a nice gently used rod with plenty of fishing time left in it. 14 day return policy. This is a very nice vintage Heddon Mark IV#6909 Controlled Flex(Medium Action) 3/8-7/8 ounce lures and 8 to 20 lb. line. It has light wear on a few places. The guides. Tip and wrappings are in nice shape. It has light wear on the butt at the end of the rod. I WILL SHIP THIS ITEM TO ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. EXCEPT CHINA. This is a NEW Heddon Mark IV#8457 8 1/2' Controlled Flex(Medium) Action fly rod that uses 8 weight line.This rod was bought by the previous owner and never used. It includes the green sock and the heddon green tube. The sock has a small hole in the end opposite where the rod is put in. The green tube has no caps. The rod still has the Heddon wrapping on the handle as shown. I WILL SHIP THIS ITEM TO ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. EXCEPT CHINA. This offering is for a vintage Heddon Pal#7472 Mark III Controlled Flex Action 6 1/2' 2-pc spinning rod that looks to be in good used condition. A cleaning would make this rod into a decent collector piece as the blank. The wraps and eyelets look good but the cork shows some minor dings from use and reel seat has some scratching and the eyelets do have some of the gold finish rubbed off the outside. This casting rod is a vintage Heddon Pal#6258 6' 1pc controlled lex action fiberglass rod with the orange.brown marbled blank. The grip. Reel seat and all windings, guides, and tiptop are intact and in excellent condition. The reel seat and cork show limited signs of use and are in great condition. The rod comes with a Heddon green cloth with red piping sack that is in good condition, as you can see from the pictures.
