VINTAGE JAPANESE JAPAN OKUTAMA CO. SPLIT BAMBOO FLY FISHING ROD IN BOX LOT#3 This item is in it's original condition with the exception of a missing end cap on the rod handle and was produced in the 1950's for American troops in occupied Japan. The rod sections are in perfect condition with all eyelets intact. The rod comes with an extra tip section of rod. The total length of the rod is 7.0 feet 10 inches with 3 sections assembled. The storage section of the box also contains original fishing string and lead for weight. The box contains a storage section in the lid and has the original labels which are in great condition. Nice vintage bamboo fly fishing set. I have no prior knowledge of vintage fishing reels. Saukua set that says made in Tokyo Japan. The worst damage seems to be some peeling which is pictured in picture#7. As you can see in the other pictures the other rods are in great shape. There are suppose to be 2 clasps that keep the box closed. 1 of them is missing.

Vintage Split Bamboo Fishing Rod Pole Bait Casting Tokyo Japan 1953. Three pieces. Handle is over 10" long. Middle piece is about 23-3/8" long and end piece is about 25-3/8" long. All eyelets seem to be secure. Can barely make out what I believe is the word"Tokyo Fishing" I have no expertise as far as fishing equipment goes. Bought this from elderly gentleman who said he brought it home from Japan in 1953. The tag shown is his handwriting. I am not sure if this is a fly rod or a bait casting rod. Offered is a vintage split bamboo fishing rod w/ reel made by the Marshall Co. Japan. This pole breaks down into 3 pieces and measures about 7 foot long when put together. The original reel comes with it. It needs a good cleaning and I didn't test to see if it works as I didn't want to disturb any of the muck and what not that has collected on it. Vintage Split Cane Bamboo Flyrod Wood Case and Flies Set Japan Marshall Company
Here for auction is what I believe to be a vintage split cane flyrod set up. Has its original wood case which states: Made In Japan For Marshall Company Inc. San Francisco. It appears to have never been used. There are 2 tip ends. One which is missing its eye at the tip and the set also appears to be missing the center rod length. There are a number of flies with it and a bobber and line and sinker. Great cork handle and this is a split bamboo cane rod. Part of the Marshall decal is missing on the rod. There is also a small end of the case that is missing. The bamboo rod has each part wrapped nearly the entire length. See the close-up photos of this one and the detailing in the wrapping of the bamboo. Two ferrules have some damage to the wraps that extends overtop of the end of the ferrules. All snake wire line-guides are intact and attached with nice burgundy color wraps. The cork grip and reel seat are in fine condition as seen below. Note the cleaner grip and the reel seat looks near new. This rod is ALL-ORIGINAL and should be considered VERY RARE! White Bear Split Bamboo Fly Rod Set Rare Japan Complete Kit Excellent Shape
Up for sale is my White Bear flyrod I've owned this rod for 25 years. It's been a display piece in my office. The rod measures about 8' when assembled. The box includes three different tips for a total of 5 rod pieces. The kit also has 22 flies that came with the original kit as well as a package of hooks that were made in Japan. The interior of the case is in pretty good shape. The outside of the case shows wear from age. As you can see in the pictures one of the latches is missing. The hinges work fine. I hate to sell this but I need the money. I have never seen a complete White Bear kit before. Posted with

Vintage Pearl Japan Split Bamboo 5 Piece Fly Fishing Rod W/ Aluminum Case
Up for auction is a beautiful vintage 5 piece Pearl fly fishing rod. Made in Japan. Has a great vintage look. This fly rod is a five piece that has two configurations, the first is a two piece set up that measures a total of about 64" inches. The second configuration is a three-piece that measures a total of about 95" inches with two, changeable end sections. The rod is made out of split bamboo with a cork handle. Both of which are in good condition with some wear. This rod looks like it has had the metal connection piece repaired/ glued at the end of the first section(see pictures) and some of the thread is coming loose in two places. One of the tip eyelets is smashed closed on one of the lighter end sections. The base of the rod. Next to the handle, has a label that reads"Pearl Japan" This lot includes a five piece fly ... morerod and an aluminum tube hard case. The aluminum case measures about 39 3/8" inches by 2 1/8" inches. The case is in good condition with some wear and some small dents. For sale is a Royal Monarch Split Bamboo Fly Rod along with an assortment of flies and other tackle there is 24 old flies some hooks and bobbers and leader line. This is a used fly rod. It is in it's original wood box, the box does have some wear due to age and use it's still functional opens/closes there is a plastic cover over the tackle that slides out with some effort. This Fly Rod has 5 pieces the Handle. Mid-section and 3 different tips, I think it's an 8 ft rod. There is a small piece of rubber at the base of the handle. I think it may have dried out. Looks like is is going to fall off at some point. Other than that the rod seems to be in good condition. I have not put it together or used it. But I don't see any visual problems with doing so.
