Here is a great vintage Heddon Spook Pal fiberglass pole. It is fiberglass but made to look like bamboo. The handle has intricate details in the wood and comes with the original fitted leather case and original paperwork. has the front tip and back eye attached but the two middle eyes are off. I do have them but I did not try to re-attach them. Very collectible casting rod that would compliment any antique Heddon casting reel very nicely.

It is in good condition for the age one of the eyelets the string has come lose on the first eye. the rod does have some ware as you can see from the pictures I dont see any fracture or cracks, The case in good condition also it is mark Heddon pal spook on the flap I don't really know anything about old fishing rods so if you i left anything out just tell me where to look and i will answer any questing on this item. The red bottom piece does not align 100% and has a small crack(Please refer to photographs for this auction) The rod comes in the original case with aluminum protective tube. Please note case has hole at bottom end(due to wear over time. Here is a Vintage Heddon"Superlative" Pal-Spook fishing rod for sale. This rod is as nice as they come! I don't believe this rod was ever used or has ever had a reel attached to it. All the guide wraps are nice and tight. There are no scratches or chips on the handle, it is an absolutely beautiful fishing rod. The rod handle has the very attractive wood grain and is accented with the gold plated reel seat screw. It certainly belongs in a rod collection or paired up with a nice vintage reel. This rod comes with the correct canvas rod cover/tube which is in nice condition as well. I think it would be hard to upgrade! The only thing that I can mention, is that the lettering has faded which describes the rod, as seen on the canvas case. If you have any questions please ask and I will do my best to answer them.
