This item has been used but still appears to be in good condition. The portable case with the handle has some scratches. Scuff marks and obvious wear and tear but the latches are still working properly and the handle is in one piece as well. The tube tester itself is in good condition as well. The plastic around the power cord is cracking because it has dried out and every time you bend it. It cracks. The tube tester ... morepowers on without any problems. I attempted to test 6CB6 tube that I had by turning all the dials and switches and the tube definitely started heating up but it never displayed an actual result so I'm not sure either the tube was bad or the tester doesn't display the results correctly. Unbuilt vacuum tube tester kit - Knight 600 tube checker
You are bidding on a very rare find. This is a Knight 600 tube tester. Which was purchased, but never built. This tester is a time capsule of times gone by. The condition is excellent. There are some imperfections in the paint of the main tester panel. Which I believe are from the factory. If you are really picky you will see some fine rub marks on the main tester panel, probably from the cardboard it was packed in. The main panel will be packed in bubble wrap to prevent further rubbing. Please check the pictures carefully. Everything shown in the pictures is included in this sale(tester case. Vintage Eico Vacuum Tube Tester Model 625 Electronic Test equipment
This tester seems to work ok. Occasionally I would have to flip or rotate the switches a couple of times to get it to work. The more I used it. The better it seemed to work. I'm not for sure but it would seem that maybe some of the contacts need cleaned, maybe blown out? Also the needle seems to jump or jitter around while testing, I don't know if this is normal. The face plate is in pretty good condition with some minor dings and scuffs. The outer housing is missing a lot of the finish and has some minor surface rust. I'm not sure if the two light bulbs on the lower corners are working. They had never came on when I tested a few tubes. It looks like the power cord may have been replaced. The information/data scroll has one small spot that had been tore and taped back together(see picture) My knowledge of things of this nature ... moreare minimal. EMC-205 Vacuum Tube Tester. Manufactured By The Electronic Measurements Corporation. New York, NY, USA, one owner, tested, seems to be in very good operating condition. But may need a final calibration. The mostly solid oak case will restore very nicely(one or two wood filler blemishes) The built-in tube list scroll works as intended. New feet have been installed on the bottom and hinge panels with Phillips screws. The original slot screws were also replaced on the hinges. Handle and console panel with Phillips screws. This is a fine unit both operationally and cosmetically. I have another good tube tester. But I am still not happy about letting this one go. My loss is your gain. Here we have a Vintage B& K Dyna Quik#650 Vacuum Tube& Transistor Tester B&K Dynamic Mutual Conductance. It comes with: Tube Selector Cards. which you look up your Tube. Then it will tell you the socket you use, heater and sensitivity settings. Also it comes with a B&K CR-57 Adapter. A TV Picture Britener 1B140, Socket L IB3#56 Adapter, Some adapter with no markings on it and a 10J203 Converter. It operates from 110VAC and as you can see from the pictures I have shown it powered up and working. Now I own 2 tubes to my name. One I know is good and the other is bad. If you look at the pictures you will see one tube where it is reading good. and the other is bad. Now I know very little and had to read the instructions on the card to see how it worked. Seemed pretty self explanatory. The two tubes I own fitted into socket 50. ... moreSo I have not tested the other sockets as I have no tube to put in them. I also have not tested any other part of the tester as I have no Transistors. and to be honest. other than the tube testing I am unsure what the rest of it does. It looks as though it has been recently painted silver. though this looks ok I am not so sure it is original as the handle is blue. Also the hinges on the back either have been moved or they are not the original ones as the are off center and I can see where hinges used to be. Looking at it I thing the old hinges broke and these were put on. The cards, are old on the edges and do fall out the holder quite easy. So please look at the pictures for cosmetic condition. Eico 666 Tube Tester. I plugged it in and nothing happened. I have no way to test the unit. The fuse looks to be good. I can't tell if the bulb is good. Or not. Everything is complete except for the rubber ring that protects the power cord. I did retape the paper to the rollers and that works fine, now. The case has rust, scrapes, and scratches. Offered is a TV-7 A/U vacuum tube tester. It's in very nice cosmetic condition and it comes with all of its original attachments and original flip chart. I have owned this tester for at least 5-6 years and have had it calibrated by TV-7 specialist Dan Nelson. He has calibrated 5 or 6 TV-7's for me and always does an excellent job. The calibration document is included with the set. I have owned many TV-7's over the years. These were work horse units for the military and most received very heavy use. When you buy an original un-touched unit you can expect that it will need extensive repair to bring it back to life. The most common problem is that the 7& 9 pin Miniature sockets and the 8-pin Octal socket are going to be worn. The pins will be so loose that any tube that you test will wallow around in the socket making poor contact. ... moreLeaving you with an incorrect test reading or intermittent reading. These need to be changed. In addition both the 83 and 5Y3 rectifiers are usually well used and need to be replaced. Calibration will most certainly be"off" This set has had the 7&9 pin sockets replaced as well as the Octal socket. Anti-Ferrite beads have been added to all three. This is a feature of the TV7-D and is useful in preventing oscillation of high gain tubes such as WE417A and 6DJ8's. The set was also calibrated to spec's. A detailed calibration report is provided. It looks like the calibration service was@$200. I am downsizing now so, if you are looking for a nice clean calibrated TV-7 which will last you another decade or more, then this is probably the one for you. TV-10 D/U vacuum tube tester. Nice shape
Offered is a TV-10 D/U vacuum tube tester. Its in very nice cosmetic condition and it comes with a copy of the original manual/data sheet. The TV-10 is a mutual conductance type tester with circuitry similar to the TV-7. The notable difference between the two are additional sockets for the 829/832(the large white ceramic socket you see on the left hand side of the tester) and 2C39(on the right hand side next to the meter) In addition. The meter scale is set to read directly in micro-ohms rather than as a percentage. This is a benefit if you prefer not having to translate the percentage scale from a TV-7 into micro-ohms. I also note that the roll chart has settings for both the KT-88 and KT-66, which sometimes is missing from TV-7 data. The roll chart also shows a good list of Western Electric types including: 101,102, 262,300, 310, 311, 421 ... moreetc. The user manual has additional settings for 274 and the 205D. The T-10 is not a common tester. There far fewer of these around than the TV-2/3/or 7. I think it is probably superior to the 7. Several individuals I know think that they can be more accurately calibrated than the 7 and that is probably true. This set is all original as best I can tell. It does not appear to have had much use. The 7 and 9 pin mini sockets are tight and make good contact. Same too with the octal socket. The roll chart turns freely and all other functions appear to be in good operating shape. The only cosmetic flaw to note, besides the usual dents and dings, is that one of the hinges on the back side of the set has been replaced with something that looks modern. You can probably see this in one of the photos. I have owned this tester for 3-4 years and have only used it occasionally. I am downsizing now so, if you are looking for a nice clean TV-10, then this is probably the one for you. This unit is designed for 110-115VAC only. Heathkit IT-21 vacuum tube tester
Seems to work fine but I don't know much about them. I tested a bunch of tubes and so I think it's fine but I have to sell it as-is since I don't know how to test all the functions. There's one cable that I showed in the second picture that is clipped off. I have no idea what it's for. Here's a very nice Heathkit TC-2 tube tester in full-working condition. The light-up data roller is very cool. The unit has been tested with new-old tubes and found to read within manufacturer specs. This is an emissions-type tester. So it doesn't test for mutual conductance. It comes with the original users manual(not pictured) and tube-data update booklets. The plate-clip lead wire has some brittle insulation that can be taped or replaced. Please make sure the item is suitable for your needs. Hickok 752A Vacuum Tube Tester
Hi. For your consideration is a working Hickok 752A Tube Tester. I used this tester for many years testing power and preamp tubes for my vintage tube bass amps. Case has some minor wear from normal use. But is still in good condition for its age. Tube setting roll chart at bottom is legible and lights up when power is turned on. What sets the 762A apart from other testers is the ability to test dual triodes such as 12AX7. 6DJ8, etc. without changing switch settings. You just push another switch. We purchased this item from the estate of a gentleman that had some nice quality electronic testers and hand tools which we also purchased. The tools and testers were in nice condition and he seemed to take good care of them. This is one of the last items we have from the estate. We know nothing about this or how to test it.
