I have no way of testing this meter. I plugged it in and selected the line ajustment. If you look at the last 2 pictures the needle moves when you turn the load knob. Hickok 600a tube tester. Is in good condition inside. The case has some overall wear to the covering. It's still decent except the back of the case has some of the covering completely worn off(see photo) The tube tester turns on but I haven't tested it beyond seeing if it powers up. Hickok tube tester 550X w/manual antique vintage multitester amp ham radio
Hickok 550X tube tester. Is overall clean and in good condition. There is some wear to the case covering(see photos) but still in pretty decent shape. The leather handle has some wear but still seems solid. This does power on and I tried a few of the functions and it seems like it all works well but I don't have the equipment to fully test the functions. It is in a metal case where most all the paint has come off as shown. It looks like it had a wrinkle finish on it. Antique Vintage Sylvania Vacuum Tube Tester Weston Model 678
The fine item you are considering is an Antique Vintage Sylvania Vacuum Tube Tester Weston Model 678. I have lots of photos below. So be sure to scroll down to the bottom of this page to take a better look. This neat vintage tube tester has a great plaque on the front which reads“Sylvania Tester“ and there‘s also a sheet of old paper tacked on the back which would seem to indicate that it‘s a Weston Model 678. The tester, which measures approximately 17” by 15 ½” looks to me to date to the 1920’s or 1930’s, with a large center meter and an all wood case. The tester is in pretty remarkable, very well cared for, overall condition, but it does have a few issues, these being that one corner of the plastic front tube panel is chipped off(see photos) and the power plug is very old and a bit smashed. Because of the condition and age of the ... moreplug, I’m not going to try to plug the unit in, so I’m selling it“as is” and as a collectable, and not as a working tube tester, but as far as I know, it may work fine once you get the plug issue straightened out.
