It Measures 17" X 11" X 8" Cosmetically. It appears in very nice condition, some light surface rust ina fw spots but no dings or damage. The case is complete and has normal age related wear. The Adapter aslo appears in good condition, the red electric cord has a small split causing the cloth around the wire inside to be exposed but not the wire itself. The Adapter Box is very fragile and was in pieces when I got it. As shown, I have taped it all back together and, while not cosmetically appealing, it is now functional. There is some paper work with the Adapter(see Photo) and a plastic Instruction Manual Card. Hickok tube tester roll chart, Models 532 533 534 534A and some others, 1948.
Up for Auction ONE Hickok Roll Chart For models 532-533-534& 534A Tube testers. Will also fit some other later models but lack some of the data. This auction is for the roll chart only and not the tube tester underneath it. The pictures do not show the entire chart but only a few areas from start to finish. Date: 4-1-1948 Condition is very good. There are no brittle or rotted areas on the paper and seems strong. There is some light yellowing in a few various areas. I will ship this in a 10x10x4" box and not in any sort of flat cardboard envelope for better protection. I was going to treat it with"Map Life" paper preservative but decided not to and leave it original. I would suggest you apply this or similar preservative when you receive it.

The black lead can be used for tubes with plate caps. For tubes with both grid and plate caps an additional lead will be needed; you can make one or they are available on eBay. Not even any sign of wear. The meter lens has a couple of small cloudy spots, see photo 7. They are not obtrusive and don't interfere with reading the data. Vintage test equipment in used condition. Has missing/wrong screws on face plate. There is some electrical tape around the power cord where it goes through the plaate. The carrying case shows signs of wear but overall very good condition. The paper reel is intact with no tears and the thumb dial works smoothly. Testing: Unit powers up. The line adjust works. Tested a few known good and bad tubes on the 9-pin socket only. It"passed" the good tubes and"failed" the bad ones so it appears to be somewhat functional. Fully functional and calibrated Hickok 6000 Tube Tester. Calibrated by Roger Kennedy in 2012. BRAND NEW ROGER KENNEDY CUSTOM METER INSTALLED! Only five or six tubes have been tested on this unit since calibration by Roger. Out-of-spec resistors replaced. Old Capacitors replaced. Pots opened up and cleaned. For sale here is a HICKOK Model 532 vacuum tube tester. The unit is working as you can see by the first picture im testing a known good 6L6. The unit does seem to be complete though unit will need a good cleaning as most tube testers do. I sprayed the insides down with deoxit to help with connectivity and electrical lubricant to help the switches turn smoothly. As with all tube testers it MUST be assumed that the unit needs a calibration. As you can see it is working powering on(pilot lamp needs replaced) etc. The roll chart is free and moving as well as the switches and knobs including a free moving meter. Western Electric KS-15560-L1 Tube Tester Hickok 539 Slightly Used
This is a Western Electric model KS-15560-L1 tube tester. This is made by Hickok for Western Electric. It is similar to the Hickok model 539. This has been in storage for many years. It is in like new condition with very little use. I have tried testing some tubes on this and it seems to be in good operating condition. The handle has a chip by the hinge and that hinge is loose on the case. One of the cover latches will not latch. There is some very small dings and scratches on cover. The roll chart will not roll to upper and lower ends. This can be easily fixed be removing it and re-rolling it. This is the nicest one of these tube testers that I have ever seen. Most show signs of use. I do not have the manual or any paperwork for this.

This auction includes a Hickok made Western Electric model KS-15559-L1 vacuum tube tester. I recently picked this tester up at an estate sale along with a few other vintage electronic items. I have not personally used this tester myself but was told by the previous owner that he had used it approximately 3-years ago and that it was working at that time. After purchasing it. I brought it home, plugged it in, and was able to adjust the line voltage properly. I have not done any additional testing beyond this and therefore, I am selling this item in as-is, untested, used condition. As the photos show, this unit is quite clean for it's age both inside and out and all of the knobs, switches, and push-buttons are original and in great shape. All of the sockets are clean and are not cracked anywhere. The indicator needles in the three meters ... moreare not stuck and the power cord is still in great shape without being brittle. I purchased this tester without a case cover(as shown) which is how I am selling it. The tube data scroll wheel does work, and all of the data is readable however, it does stick once in a while. This Hickok 6000 Gm tube tester works very well. It appears to be very accurate from the tests I did. The last 4 pics show it testing NOS 6L6GB. 12AX7, 45 and 6BQ5 tubes. I used the Gm test ranges for the tests( set to the 3000, 6000 or 15,000 Gm red dots on the shunt dial) Here are the readings I got. It has been stored indoors in a smoke free and climate controlled home. Included is a copy of the operator's manual and an extensive tube data supplement. The KS-15750-L2 was manufactured by Hickok for Western Electric and is of the highest quality. Despite being built for industrial research and development service this example has escaped with only a few dings and scratches suggesting limited use. Upon opening the lid a stunning faceplate and knobs are revealed once again confirming limited service. The only detraction is a missing right hand lid stop arm and stud. I have a Hickok 539A tube tester for auction. The photos show the condition fairly. The instrument deck is in fine cosmetic condition but the case has some bumps and duct tape repairs. The unit has worked on all the tubes I have tried over the years and worked on a sampling today. The knobs and switches all work smoothly as they should. The paper roll works fine and there are no tears in it. It gives the expected readings for new tubes but it has not been calibrated in at least the 15 years I've had it. I bought it from a research facility and they did perform calibration but I don't know when the last one was done. It also comes with some tip sheets and supplemental data for additional tubes not included on the roll. The roll is copyright 1961. Available for sale are three WWII Signal Corps tube testers. Two are model I-177. And the third one(painted red) is a I-177-B. These items came from the estate of a longtime radio technician. Who is in the process of reducing some of his inventory in anticipation of relocating to a small building. All three of these units are in decent cosmetic condition. All are untested, and I have not even attempted to power them on. This is a great lot for a technician who can spend a little time on each unit and give them a decent calibration service. Hickok 800A Tube Tester Good Condition Tests Tubes No Cover
Hickok 800A Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester This tester is in good condition. Fully tested and completely operational. Case and face of unit are in nice condition for its age, however it is missing its lid. When testing tubes, I found this tester to perform all prescribed tests successfully, but it gives slightly lower readings than my calibrated Hickok 6000A tester. I believe the issue to be one of the incoming line level which tells me the 83V mercury vapor tube or the 5Y3 rectifier tube may be getting a little on the weak side. For Auction is a Hickok Model 1575B tube tester. It turns on and powers the few tubes I have tested it with. All the meters work. Missing four feet. SHUNT KNOB, and manual. Has scratches. Tape marks, dings, ink marking, stickers, small dents, and the lid does not close properly. Not to sure about accuracy, it was last calibrated in 1965. It was from a university. It functions as well as I can test it without a manual.

ITEM DESCRIPTION A vintage 600A tube tester by Hickok. It works well. May need calibration though. I tested the function with a couple different tubes such as 27, 80, 6V6, 6SN7 and all performed as expected. The power cord is flexible and has no cracks. The small grid cap adapter aged and a bit cracked at the base of it. There is an nice built-in scroll for tube settings included and it even still shows those two digit tubes. The handle. Hinges and clasps are tight and in good condition. Exterior cabinet not water damaged or cracked however, it does have marks paint splatters, and tears consistent with its age. I got this from my Dad about 20 years ago and never used it. Looks to be in very nice condition but has been sitting in my office closet. I have no tubes to test it but it powers up. Has a few marks on it in pencil and a red pencil mark near the center of the face. Has the original manual dated 1965 and the supplement for obsolete tubes dated 1968. Has some adaptors with it. Probably needs to be calibrated and gone over by someone qualified. It is heavy so I will ship economy and with insurance and tracking. If you want otherwise let me know at auctions end. Hickok 550X tube tester. Is overall clean and in good condition. There is some wear to the case covering(see photos) but still in pretty decent shape. The leather handle has some wear but still seems solid. This does power on and I tried a few of the functions and it seems like it all works well but I don't have the equipment to fully test the functions. The TV-7/ 10 series of military tube testers are considered some of the best testers ever made. The TV-10 is a larger variant of the TV-7 and has a major advantage in that it reads out directly in micromhos and has a built in roll chart. The design is supremely rugged and compact. It tests a great many types quickly and easily and enjoys wide support. If you want a tube tester that gives great results with a direct readout than this is the one! The TV-10 is not a very well known tube tester. There just weren't very many of them made and they are hard to find. It is basically an up-scale version of the ever popular TV-7. The outer case has its share of superficial dings and scratches but inside it is in great condition. Very clean panel and immaculate interior. The only flaws worth mentioning is a crack or two in the plastic instruction sheet mounted in the lid and the power cord is getting a little stiff. I compared the readings with a friends TV-7 and this set was close but slightly higher on the tubes we checked[12AX7. 6V6, 6L6, 6BQ5] It has a Navy calibration sticker from 1968, so it's somewhat overdue for a calibration[several guys on the web will do calibrations reasonably] It measures approx 18" X 7" X 10" and very well packed[double boxed] shipping weight will be 26.5 pounds from zip code 24012. This tube tester works great but does need a tuneup I've enjoyed having it. But don't use it much do I'm selling it and will be listing all my tubes in the next week too. It powers up and works great but could use a tuneup. The power cord is starting to Frey and the big porcelain tube socket is cracked and the small cord input could be replaced. The tube chart is a little tight and could use to be reset too. And there are dings in the case. But it still works great I've tested and sold tubes with it on Ebay and never had a complaint. I bought this at an estate sale several years ago just as you see it. With no lid. This Is a Working Unit with no apparent issues. I had to replace the wire wound resistor due to a bad spot on the winding(I will send it and the three clamps with the unit) I looked all over but never was able to find an original one as shown in the picture. I replaced it with a shorter but larger in diameter resister of close to the same specifications as the original. It's been some time, but I believe I was able to achieve the voltages required for proper calibration from the three taps on the replacement ... moreresistor. As you can see the cord needs replacing. As I said this is a working unit and just before putting it on eBay I tested a tube known to be good,it fell exactly within the parameters it was supposed to. (Hickok) Military TV-2C Tube tester, Excellent operating cond. Cal checked
This is a nice Military TV-2c(the lastest version) in excellent operating condition. And good cosmetic condition. This is considered by some to be one of the best testers based on the Hickok Gm circuit. I've gone through the complete cal check(there are a few errors in the procedure) and added a few checks of my own. Everything checks out fine and I've tested a bunch of tubes(see the list iin the c/o sheet(last 3 pictures) This includes spare tubes(83 and 6X4) The screen supply rectifier's(6X4) heater is on a winding of the plate/ screen transformer. This causes screen voltage drift as a result of changing the plate fine adjust. This issue is nicely resolved by changing the screen rectifier to diodes, I made a 7 pin plug-in adapter for this. Every switch, pot and meter operate fine. The case has the usual dents and scrapes and ... moreif you're fussy it could use a paint job. The interior and front panel. Including the knobs and meters, are in excellent condition. The roll chart in the lid works very smoothly with no binding. The original manual is in good condition. There are a number of manuals(operating and test) manuals available on the BAMA site: Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 and Shipping will be by UPS for 56 lbs from 91784. The dimensional weight rules(UPS and USPS) for the box are what determines this shipping weight. This will require a 24 x 24 x 16in. box for safe shipping. Hickok Tube Tester Model 600A + Extra 83 & 5Y3 Tubes - Working Condition
Up for auction is a Hickok 600A Micromho Mutual Conductance(Gm) Tube Tester. This tester is in working condition. But but is being sold“as is” since it has not been recently calibrated. The meter is in excellent condition; the knobs are tight and the chart roll bar works all the way to both ends. As can be seen from the panel face. There is little wear around the knobs which happens from frequent use. This unit operates using both a 83 tube rectifier and a 5Y3WGT tube rectifier. When these tubes were replaced. The tester’s readings did not change– indicating that the original tubes are still good(and will be included in this sale as extras) The tester still has all four rubber feet, original handle, and the original power cord(which has the usual cracking seen in cords from its era) The unit comes with a cap connector, spare fuse, and a copy ... moreof the original manual. I tested a few different tubes with the unit, and it seems to work fine. Test results comparable to other similar calibrated tube testers I have.
