As you can see in the pictures aside from a coating of dust the interior looks surprisingly good with no evidence that anything but age has deteriorated the cord on the outside of the cover, even the paper roll looks quite good. This is a large heavy object so shipping will be quoted as parcel post. Vintage Test-O-Matic Tube Tester
I inherited this from my dad when he passed away last year. He collected many unusual items and I like finding them. He told me before he passed that he wanted these things to help me financially. He kept anything he could if thought it might be worth anything down the road. My daughter. His oldest grand-daughter, is getting married, I know he would be happy knowing that some of the things he left helped to give her a nice wedding. This particular item may have been used when he was in the Navy. Or when he and his father had an electronic store(t.v.s, etc. somewhere around the 50's or 60's. I also have an assortment of tubes available on ebay, and also a tube salesman's/repairman's case. This item has not been tested and is sold as-is.

Up for bid is a vintage Conar Instruments Model 211. I have no knowledge on this piece. I can tell you the needle does move when plugged in. There is some rusting around the casing as seen in photos. The wire on the aligator clip is thin and frail. The front and glass are in nice condition. The knobs turn freely and seem to be in very good condition as well. If you have questions on this piece. I plugged it in and the meter indicator needle moved to the center position. I pressed the test button and the needle went all the way left to the BAD position. It looks like someone added battery power to it. If you look to the left you will see what i am saying. Down in the that compartment were 3 Rayovac D"leak proof" batteres. AND THEY DID NOT LEAK. good working vintage U-TEST-EM stationary floor model electron tube tester
SquareTrade © AP6.0 1960 vintage U-Test-Em model 1901 stationary tube tester. 58 1/2" tall x 21" wide x 20" front to back. Sheet metal cabinet has locking door on the bottom with slide out tray shelves. There are 5 tray slots but only 2 trays. Cabinet is in fair cosmetic condition but equipment appears to be good working. Glass insert on the cabinet base door is cracked. Glass panel with advertising is missing from the overhead light section. Some minor surface rust and wear and on the cabinet. For testing Efficiency. Plug the tube into the correct socket and allow 30 seconds to warm up. Meter should read at the chart indicated value or higher. I tested several tubes and the values appear reasonable. I have a brand new 6U7 tube which shows a value of 50 on the cabinet chart and the meter tests at 55. I have a used 6K7 ... morewhich should test at 50 but only registers 40. Shorts or gas leaks should light up on the panel but none of the tubes I tested appear to be faulty in that respect. There is a toggle power switch mounted on the panel, however, the only way to turn off the overhead light is to unplug the unit. Pretty neat and usable unit. For local pick up here in York, PA 17406. Bought from a working shop, I've plugged it in, tested as I could, here it is telling me the tube out of my TransOceanic is leaking and dead, but everything seems to be working properly, lights light, dials dial or click, toggles toggle, no damage, cord is clean and supple, no cracks, ready to be put to work. Serial number is 4199, mails at 9.5 pounds. BTW, I know this tester came out in a field model with a cover for the front and snaps, this was a desk model, complete as sold, not a tester missing the cover. On the underside of the lid and a GE tube manual for refference purposes. It appears that the model number is either a L-18 or P-18. Vintage Eico Vacuum Tube Tester Model 625 Electronic Test equipment
This tester seems to work ok. Occasionally I would have to flip or rotate the switches a couple of times to get it to work. The more I used it. The better it seemed to work. I'm not for sure but it would seem that maybe some of the contacts need cleaned, maybe blown out? Also the needle seems to jump or jitter around while testing, I don't know if this is normal. The face plate is in pretty good condition with some minor dings and scuffs. The outer housing is missing a lot of the finish and has some minor surface rust. I'm not sure if the two light bulbs on the lower corners are working. They had never came on when I tested a few tubes. It looks like the power cord may have been replaced. The information/data scroll has one small spot that had been tore and taped back together(see picture) My knowledge of things of this nature ... moreare minimal. Vintage Radio City tube tester w/ original cord, test leads, Manual, schematic
I used this Vintage 1940's Radio City tube tester for several years in which it worked flawlessly. But then the gauge needle broke and i attempted to repair with no success. So just needs a gauge to become operable again. Dovetailed box needs refinished, the top and bottom have a couple of laminate layers that have separated. But the tester is in great condition, includes voltmeter test leads, an excellent original Bakelite cord, as well as an original operation manual with detailed schematic and tube testing chart.

This is a general purpose tube tester for various tube types. Test to see if tubes are good or bad. Check the vibrator, or see if a tube is gassy. It seems to work when I hooked a couple of tubes but i'm not sure how to make use it. One of the gassy test indicator lamps is out. It comes with a manual for either replacing tubes or rewiring tubes to substitute for another and a chart for properly installing tubes on the tester. Will ship disassembled for smaller packaging.
