Up for auction is a rare Heathkit TT-1 tube tester. The unit comes complete with the user manual. As well as the original construction manual. Overall, the unit is in great physical condition. The faceplate sparkles with hardly a scratch on it! The outer case is somewhat faded, but the cloth is intact with the exception of on tear(see photos below) Some of the metal hardware has a little rust, but nothing too serious. I actually owned a TT-1 a few years back. And loved it. It's a great tube tester for someone who tests common audio tubes(6L6, 6V6, EL34, EL84, 12AX7, 6SN7, etc) The unit powered right up as the previous owner said it would, however, some of the knobs were very stiff, and a few would not turn at all. They will need to be cleaned and lubricated before the tester can be used. Tests sockets for: 4, 5, 6,7 pin early type tubes, 8 pin octal and loctal tubes and 7,9 pin miniature tube. All controls, switches and tube sockets have been cleaned. Capacitors were replaced, good power cord and grid cap lead. The case has been repainted. This is a high-end dynamic conductance tube tester. Great for matching for matching audio tubes, and testing amplifier, audio, stereo, hi/fi, radio and tv tubes. It shows a little age, but is in overall very good condition.

Tube tester precision apparatus audio stereo guitar amp hi-fi model 612
This tube tester is in decent condition for it's age. I tried it with several different tubes and it appears to work correctly. I did not try every socket and would assume the switches could use cleaning. There are five paper rolls beside the one in the machine. there is also an ad from 1958 for the company and a letter dated 1972 checking for an update. The case has some deep scratches and the hinges are missing from the cover. The original foil tag is still on the handle as well. Thanks for looking.

Hickok 6000 Vintage Dynamic Mutual Conductance tube tester GOOD OVERALL CONDITION- VINTAGE HICKOK MODEL 6000 DYNAMIC MUTUAL CONDUCTANCE TUBE TESTER INCLUDES THE ORIGINAL INSTRUCTION MANUAL AND DOCUMENTS& THE ROLL BAR OPERATES SMOOTHLY The Hickok model 6000 is an updated version of the 600A. Which has some additional features including the transistor tester and the island style socket plate. The 6000 has a socket plate with all the vintage style sockets 4. 5, 6, 7, pin types, Locktal, octal, 7& 9 pin miniature. The units face plate is in great condition. The outer case has some wear spots but is in overall good shape. The inner lid of the case has some signs of wear around the edges, the outer latch hardware metal has some oxidation. I plugged the unit in and tested a tube and it appears to work, the meter needle moves when the test ... morebutton is pushed, however may need some service and/or calibration. Test performed: I ran a basic test by dialing in the needle to exact center with no tube on the plate I pressed the gas test and the needle moved all the way to the left and moved back to exactly the 000 position. Heathkit IT-17 Tube Tester for Vintage HiFi Audio Guitar Amp Radio Tubes
Available for sale is a Heathkit tube tester. Model IT-17, serial number 0134275. The unit appears to be complete, and in decent cosmetic condition for it's age. The face is cleaner than the cabinet, but over it looks far better than some I have seen! This unit was acquired from a gentleman who used to repair/restore older tube radios as a hobby. It has been several years since he has tinkered with any of these. So I cannot say with any certainty what the current operational status is. I have not attempted to power this unit. Vintage CONAR Tube Tester Model 223 HiFi Audio Guitar Amp Ham Radio TV CLEAN
The tester in in excellent working condition. It's beautiful, I don't know that a guy could ask for much more. It comes with the original build books, and even the supplementary tube charts. The inside shows very little signs of use, the outside has just a few scuffs. Only other thing worth mentioning, 2 of the rubber stick on feet have come off the case. The tester hasn't been used since the early 80's. I can't say it enough, excellent condition. Thanks for looking! Vtg Electron Tube Tester EICO 625 & 610 WORKS Audio Amp Hi-Fi Stereo Radio TV
Up for auction is a EICO model 625 emission tube tester with a EICO 610 adapter. This vintage Tube Tester was designed to test practically all vintage radio. Jukebox, guitar amplifier and television receiving tubes and a few transmitting tubes. The main unit is a Model 625. Made by EICO, Electronic Instrument Co. The EICO 625 has many several tube sockets including ones for 4 and 5-pin tubes. The additional EICO Tube Tester Adapter model 610, has a 5 Pin Nuvistor, 7 Pin, Nuvistor, a Novar, a 12 Pin Compactron and a 10 Pin Miniature. The adaptor consists of inter-wired sockets, plus a 9-wire cable terminated in a 9-pin miniature plug that is inserted in the socket on the tube tester. A tenth connection is provided by a capterminal on the adaptor to which is connected a grid cap lead of the tube tester. The normally blank key space on the compactron ... moresocket in the adaptor is drilled to permit a compactron to be inserted in the socket with the key at any desired position, so as to permit all sections of the compactron to be tested without switching. Main unit features Speed type lever switches for speed and accuracy. Individual tube element testing, designed to accommodate tubes that came out after the machine was produced. It has a circuit overload bulb, a short test feature. Large easy to read meter. Lighted speed roll chart. Etched, rub-proof panel. Durable steel carrying case. The case measures 12-1/2" x 5-1/2" x 11-1/2" not including the 610 adapter that sets out side the case on the one side) The instruction manual, along with"obsolete tube" chart, and schematic, is available free online in pdf form. This unit has been tested with a variety of tubes and is in good working condition. Controls function as they should. The meter movement is smooth, roll chart moves easily. I tested a 12AX7 and 6SN7(both known to be good) And got seemingly accurate results. This isn't going to be the most precise tube tester on the market, but if you simply need to know whether or not a tube is functional and to what extent, this is the one for you. It tests all the popular tubes such as 12AX7, EL34, 6V6, 6L6 and so on. It is easy to use, and would make a great tester for someone who is just getting into the hobby.
