Vintage Precision Mutual Conductance/Emission Tube Tester. Model# 111. For Parts or Repair. Comes with a copy of instruction manual. Tester powers up, line settings do not adjust all the way to center, and it does try to read the tube. Test sockets for 4, 5, 6, 7 pin early type tubes, 8 pin octal and loctal tubes and 7, 9 pin miniature tubes. It has a built in roll chart(move freely) Circuit is basically a Hickok with a few frills. Up for bid is a clean. Working Precision Apparatus Co. tube tester that came from an estate of a local Ham operator who was very fussy about his equipment. This is a very versatile tube tester because it can test a wide range of tubes from the 1920's all the way up to 1978. Setup information is readily available on line from Chris's Old Radios at no charge(for private use) This is a"dynamic" emissions type tester using their proprietary"Electronamic" testing circuit. The test results compare very closely to results I get using my B&K 707B tester. See the second picture showing testing of a 6CA7/EL34 from my Dynaco amp. Precision Model Series 912 Tube Tester
Offered is an as found vintage tube tester. I plugged it in and the needle moves and the device lights up. I have no way of knowing if it will test tubes or not. The dove tailed box shows wear and the handle has been replaced with wire. The roller for the paper turns but there are tears to the paper on the left side. Also there are some missing knobs. Comes with some instruction papers. Also there are 3 tubes that were inside the box that will be included. I do not know if they are functional or not. One is an amperex ecl86/ 6gw8 and other one looks almost indentical but has no writing. The third is a sylvania 1h.

Working Precision Tube Master Model 10-12 Tube Tester Made in USA
Untitled Document This is a great tube tester for a number of reasons. First. Because it will test almost every tube ever made. Second, the roll chart has just about every tube on it so you don’t need a separate book. Third it just looks cool. I have tested it with a number of tubes that I have tested out on another meter and the tests all show out true. There is one minor issue though, the“read meter” button could use a little deoxidizing as you have to push it just right to read true. Not a big deal and fully functional without any work but I didn’t open it up as I assume that if you are getting this you probably work on gear yourself so you’ll probably want to open it up yourself anyway. Precision Apparatus PACO 612 Tube & Battery Tester, Calibrated Fixed Tested NICE
Here is a very nice PACO tube tester. It's the Model 612 tube and battery tester. I haven't done much with PACO gear(though I'm totally dependent on their C-20 capacitor tester) But based on the shiny chrome faceplate this looks to be a later production run of the venerable 612 emission tester. This is a nice tester. It beats my trusty old EICO 625, that's for sure. I toyed with the idea of swapping out the 625 for the 612 for my quick bench tester. still might happen. We'll see how the sale goes. I have a standard weak 6CA7(EL34) that I use to judge testers. This tester got it right. Checked leaky and good capacitor. The 612 had no trouble identifying which one was which. The battery test also worked. I am confident this tube. Condenser and battery tester is fully functional. The meter is very nice. The movement is very smooth and repeatable. Overall. This unit very nice as you can see from the pictures. The case has some scrapes and marks but is very solid. All feet are there. They're not a exact match but close. The handle, latches and hinges are very nice and fully functional. If you like PACO tube testers. See the 654 I've got listed in the Vintage Electronics category. US Only. UPS Ground is quoted. Welcome-up for bids is a Series 920 Electronamic tube tester. Made by the Precision Apparatus Company in New York. Circa 1940 This tube tester has NOT been tested. Mostly because of the frayed electric cord. I have no reason to believe it will not work. Purchased from an estate auction from a 60yr old that suddenly passed away. He had 100's of these types of things(Ohm meters, volt meters, tube testers, etc) Look carefully at the pictures. As mentioned. The cord is frayed. It is missing one of the little rubber"feet-stoppers" on the back edge of the lid. It is also missing the handle. The case is a poor/fair condition, considering its age. The scroll moves freely and all the knobs turn easily. Box measures about 13x13x6 and weighs a good 15lbs. Most economically way to ship this would be FedEX. After acquiring some vintage electron/vacuum tubes. I purchased this Precision 10-12 to test their strength. This is in as found condition I have done no work on it and I am not really qualified to. My advice to any potential bidders on this item or ... moreany vintage electronic item like this is have a qualified professional replace out of spec caps and resistors before you put this into regular service. These are very simple devices that will last a long time if properly maintained. I did replace the faceplate screws because some of the originals were missing and others were chewed up so I replaced them and the replacements look great. I powered this up and tested a 12ax7. 5U4 and 6SN7 that had already been tested on my professionally calibrated tube testers and found this tester to generally be in agreement with my testers. In order for this tester to be put into regular service it needs the sockets cleaned as well as the contacts on the switches& the potentiometers could use some Deoxit. The roll chart works fine and doesn't slip or bind but the plastic cover is yellowed and it can be tough to see the setup info. There is no manual but there is a supplemental chart included. There is a split in one side of the wooden case but overall the case is solid. This is a nice little tester for either parts or restoration.

If you own any of these classic testers, this adapter may be with it's weight in gold. B&K 747 PRECISION DYNA-JET TUBE TESTER + ReCapd + CALIBRATED &Full Scale 12AX7
From my personal collection. Here is a mutual conductance tester you can be proud of and count on for decades to come, a beautiful refubished restored and calibrated B&K 747. This one is originally from State of Connecticut, Dept of Education and has clearly not seen much use. Very well kept and super clean, no rust nor corrosion to be seen. Last of the 747 testers, late production date on this one is July 1982(as seen in the closeup. This 747 was very recently fully calibrated(adjusted according to B&K procedures- shorts detection threshold. Leakage circuit, and grid emmision circuit. Then checked and/or adjusted for correct signal voltage, DC bias& balance, DC plate voltage& DC screen voltage- again according to B&K procedures. Importantly, the electrolytic caps were all replaced with USA manufacture Illinois caps. This ... morewill assure the new owner of stability for decades. Resistors were also checked and/or replaced for correct values. This 747 does not need to be 12AX7 modified. Test results read full scale on the meter now. Uses test buttons 1 and 2 to check both triodes so no need to reset any switches to read the other triode within. Try that with your Hickok, no can do. Automatic line adjust circuitry too, no more line adjusting for each tube type. Truely exhibits ease of use when testing many various tubes at one sitting. Photos are not generic 747 pictures. As you can tell, and the winner will receive the exact beautiful unit pictured. This 747 is not for the average bench, rather for the discriminating buyer who wants beauty, dependability, and accuracy all wrapped into one premium tester. Time was spent carefully cleaning and polishing the tester face plate. Not that it needed it much. The excellent condition outer case was also gently cleaned. Check the pictures for shine and reflection. Lid hinges& latches work smoothly and solidly, 100% good. Original set up chart is in the lid- nice. nice and working. This tester also includes the original manual and many supplements. Outside of case shows usual wear, pics also show testing a good 12AU7 that correlates with my KS-15560 test of the same tube. Unit has been recapped with new caps, thanks for looking!
