This unit is in good ... morephysical condition with only minor scuffs and scratches due to normal wear. All the labeling is clear and legible. This unit is however missing its rotor and it will need to be replaced before use. Please refer to the pictures provided below for more details on the condition of the item. When we tested this unit it powered on without any problems. We set the timer and started the unit spinning. It spun without any vibrations or noises. We also turned the drying function on and tested the temperature with an infrared thermometer. The unit did heat up significantly beyond room temperature(about 40 degrees) We do not know however if it got to the proper temperature for the"High" setting. We did notice that is seems that the vacuum function is not working properly. This unit will be sold as-is beyond our basic testing. Thank You. Good Luck, and Happy Bidding! Savant Concentrator/ Centrifuge Up for auction is a used Savant DNA Speed Vac DNA120 Concentrator/ Centrifuge. Model DNA120-120. This unit is in good physical condition with only minor scuffs and scratches due to normal wear. All the labeling is clear and legible. This unit is however missing its rotor and it will need to be replaced before use. Please refer to the pictures provided below for more details on the condition of the item. When we tested this unit it powered on without any problems. We set the timer and started the unit spinning. It spun without any vibrations or noises. We also turned the drying function on and tested the temperature with an infrared thermometer. Most of the time when I get these the tops are broken or so badly scratched that it’s hard to see inside. And/or they are covered in rust. So in comparison this one is very nice. Not perfect. But very nice. When powered up it heats up and the rotor spins. When you open it the rotor is braked to a very quick stop. So from my rather limited testing I would say it is functional. The only issue I found was that I cannot get the rubber top gasket to stay in place. Seems like maybe it’s a bit stretched out although the rubber feels OK. So you will probably need a new gasket. Beyond that it is untested and NO warranty is offered. However. IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem ... moreyou cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it.
