New Brunswick BioFlo 4500 30 Liter Fermenter For sale is this used New Brunswick BioFlo 4500 30 Liter Fermenter. It is overall in very good cosmetic condition with a few light scuffs and scratches on the exterior. It includes the manual. See photos below for more details on the condition and what is included. Specifications: Brand: New Brunswick Mfg. SP98306-4500-30L Serial# 990223509 Voltage: 200/240 1-Phase VA: 6000 Max We directly wired up the fermenter to try it out. As there was not a plug on the cord. We wired it up to 110V and the unit powered on, so we aren't sure why it states 240V on the label. The unit immediately powered on when we flipped the switch and it started to bootup. This unit has a built-in computer w/ a touchscreen for control on the front. Inside there is a hard drive and floppy drive. It runs Windows NT ver. 4.00 ... moreOnce it had entered windows it started up NBS local controller interface ver. 2.29 I was then able to navigate through the program using the touchscreen. I'm not very familiar with the unit. But I was able to change a couple of basic settings. I wasn't really able to do anything with the fermenter. As it didn't have anything in it. The fermenter has quite a few solenoids. But it looks to be missing some of the instrumentation wires that would connect to the front of the controller. I did notice that it sounded like one of the solenoids on the fermenter was buzzing fairly loudly while on. I'm not sure why. If there is anything that any potential bidders would like checked out specifically about this unit we can help out with that. From what I can tell. The unit appears to be in basic operating condition. But without actually testing the fermenter in its entirety it is hard to guarantee it beyond our basic testing.
