This is a set of fourteen used teflon coated magnetic stir bars. These are used. They have stains on them from being used. There are signs of wear. But the teflon is not worn all the way through on any of them. The set consists of: three that are 3-inches; two that are oval shaped and about 2.75-inches long; one that is 2.5-inches long; three that are about two inches long(one of them is triangular. Not cylindrical) four that are X-shaped and about 1.25-inches across; one that is a rectangular prisim(1.5X1.0X0.5) inches. These have been used and show wear and stains from use. The spindle spun up to 1000RPM for 4 seconds and stopped for 4 seconds, then spun up to 900RPM for 4 seconds and then stopped for 4 seconds, and then spun up to 700RPM and maintained a constant speed of 700RPM. Similar results happened when the speeds were set to 800 and 900RPM; maintained constant speeds of 800 and 900RPM. When the speed was set to 1000RPM. The spindle spun up to a constant speed of 1000RPM and maintained at that speed. The same results happened when the speeds were set from 1200-20kRPM; the spindle spun constantly to the selected speeds and maintained.
