Most of the time when I get these the tops are broken or so badly scratched that it’s hard to see inside. And/or they are covered in rust. So in comparison this one is very nice. Not perfect. But very nice. When powered up it heats up and the rotor spins. When you open it the rotor is braked to a very quick stop. So from my rather limited testing I would say it is functional. The only issue I found was that I cannot get the rubber top gasket to stay in place. Seems like maybe it’s a bit stretched out although the rubber feels OK. So you will probably need a new gasket. Beyond that it is untested and NO warranty is offered. However. IF you pay the asking price and find it has a problem ... moreyou cannot live with within 14 days of receipt you may return it.
