We have no background experience using this centrifuge. It arrived to us from a government facility exactly as pictured. We plugged the unit in and it immediately powered up. The door button worked so we were able to see that their is a Beckman rotor inside the unit. The knobs adjusted the time and when we hit the play button the rotor turned and shut off at the designated time. This is all the testing we have done to the unit. Since we can not guarantee that this unit is fully functioning we are only guaranteeing it to power on. Overall it seems to be in fair USED physical condition. It does have some minor scratch and scuff markings along with some writing on the top part of the unit. Also. One of the front knobs is missing but the metal part still is able to adjust the time. We have provided numerous pictures to give a better understanding of the overall physical condition. No other parts or accessories will be included in this auction. No power cord included. You're bidding on a beckman coulter microfuge 18 that is in great working condition. We purchased this for $1000 from a local reseller about 6 months ago. The centrifuge works well and uses a brushless motor(long life) so it can operate in most temperatures and under most conditions. It has the standard fixed angle rotor that holds microcentrifuge tubes. We recently consolidated lab space and have excess equipment at this stage so we are looking to sell some assets. We have no background experience using this centrifuge. It arrived to us from a government facility exactly as pictured. We plugged the unit in and it immediately powered up. The door button worked so we were able to see that their is a Beckman rotor inside the unit. The knobs adjusted the time and when we hit the play button the rotor turned and shut off at the designated time. This is all the testing we have done to the unit. This centrifuge is not in working condition and sold for parts or repair only. When the power is turned on all three indicator lights on the keypad are blinking on and off on the keypad. The unit does not spin or operate and the door will not release when when the keypad button is pushed. I opened the door with the emergency cord on the bottom. Unit could use a cleaning on the inside of the chamber. The outer cosmetics look pretty good with a few scratches here and there from use. It does have the 24 place# F241.5P Rotor and Cover.
