Clay Adams Dynac Centrifuge Bench/ Table Top Model No. 0101(420101) with 12-Place. Fixed Angle Rotor& 12 Stainless Tubes The unit was purchased at a business closing and is in great working order. I have run the centrifuge for approximately 10- 12 minutes at varying speeds. All without problems. The electric brake worked on all settings. The motor is very quite and there is no wobble/shaking while the unit is running. There is some cosmetic wear— to the base. Please note the dent on the front and some small scuffs/scratches. The lid needs a new lock latch, but is not cracked or showing any other problems. Also, there is very, very minor oxidation to the unit base, but it is merely cosmetic. The fixed angle rotor is rock solid and comes with all 12 stainless tubes, which have been thoroughly cleaned. I can’t find any issues with the main ... morebearing(no leaks) either. None of these scratches or dents are affecting the unit in anyway. I did forget to include the rotor retaining nut, but rest assured that it is OEM and included. Prior to listing it was tested and the following was observed: The power switch works The timer counts down as it should and stops the centrifuge when it reaches zero The speed control works as it should- a range of speeds from 500 rpm to 7500 rpm were observed with our handleld tacho. The run/brake switch allows the centrifuge to run and brakes it when set to brake. The safety switch operates correctly and prevents the centrifuge from running unless the lid is closed. The following faults were also observed: The built in tacho does not operate correctly- however. The voltage across the meter terminals was observed to vary with speed, which leads us to suspect that this may just be a faulty meter, though we can't guarantee ... morethat, of course. The Zero speed switch does not operate- this may be related to the meter problem or may be a separate fault. Because some faults were observed.
