The menu and refrigeration functions have been fully tested and work great. The refrigeration gets cold very quickly and the thermostat was tested at many different temperatures all the way down to the mininum and worked great. All menus were run through and responded well. I do not have a rotor for this unit so the drive function was not tested. The"drive" and"door" error lights would light when I would hit the"start" button on the unit. Beckman High Speed L8-80R Refrigerated Floor Centrifuge For sale is this used Beckman High Speed L8-80R Refrigerated Floor Centrifuge. It is overall in pretty decent cosmetic condition with the normal scuffs and scratches on the exterior. Does not include a key. But is set to normal. The unit does roll okay but is quite heavy. Specifications: Model: L8-80 R Serial# 80559 Cat. 341300 208V 30A Total revolutions: 30524160 x 1000 Exterior dimensions: 39" wide x 28" deep x 50" tall, We plugged this unit into our 220V power and were able to test it out quite a bit. It powered right up and the gauges and display was on. I turned the vacuum pump on and it immediately came on and started to pull a vacuum on the chamber. After awhile it was down to about 15 microns and quite a bit later it was off the scale to the right side. I can't ... moreguarantee the accuracy of the gauge. I set the temperature to 0C(the lowest it would go to) and the unit soon started to cool down. After awhile the gauge reach 0.3C and it stayed there. I opened the chamber and was able to verify that the inside temperature was within a few degrees C of the stated temperature. I then set the time to 5 minutes and the speed to a few thousand RPM. Due to not have a rotor installed the unit seemed to spin up a bit for a few seconds and then gave a Disk error. I believe this is what it should do. But can't really state as I'm not really that familiar with use of these units. Changing display setting is a bit funny. As you have to hold the button for the item you want to change, and then press the up or down button and the display flashes between the set point and the current amount. From what I can tell.
