The body and housing of the unit are in good vintage condition with no holes or splits in the components. There are some surface scuffs and blemishes to the paint. Consistent with that of 50 to 60+ year old antique copper and cast iron wares. Amazingly. The two removable tubes atop the rotating arm are still intact. These tubes appear to be cast of aluminum. Please use the photo zoom for a close up view of this rare vintage centrifuge. All four feet are still intact. As well as the original metal Frank Betz name plate. A nice vintage medical device to compliment any collection or medical office/lab décor. A great unique gift idea as well! This instrument is from a local estate and was part of an enormous collection(1000’s of items) that was acquired over a 79 year period. The collector was a third generation physician.
