2HP Small Diesel Engine - Electric Start Option - Crank Start - 160cc
Great running small Diesel engine. This engine is small in size but has significant torque. This engine was used for special project that is no longer being used. This engine was originally designed to be a crank start but I had a special plate made that mounted to the flywheel. I then mounted a Briggs and Stratton ring gear to this plate and used a typical Briggs and Stratton electric start motor to start the diesel. This engine does have a compression relief valve to make starting easier. If your into Diesel engines and need a small unit. Then this is the one to have. It's made from cast iron so it is tough as nails. Comes with straight pipe and K&N air filter. This engine has been stripped of its original sheet metal, fuel tank, and casings. Here is a very scarce original parts list for The Pattin Bros. Co. Marietta, Ohio Gas Engines and Pumps. As can readily be seen in the photos the booklet shows much wear and tear, dirt and stains, etc. It does seem to be complete however and contains 32 numbered pages with illustrations. Interior pages are dirty/ greasy with finger prints, etc. The front and back covers have much wear and missing paper and folded over corners, dog ears, coffee cup stain on front, etc. I see no date on the catalog. Old Original Marsh Steam Engine Tractor Water Pump Hit Miss Gas Magneto Oiler
This is a pretty nice original Marsh steam pump built by the American Steam Pump Company in Battle Creek. Michigan. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can find or know of. Everything on it moves freely as it should. The only flaw that I know of is that it needs a piston on the big end and the cover for that end along with a few fasteners. These should be easy to make and then you'll have a perfect pump. It measures about 17 inches long and about 12 1/2 inches tall. These pumps certainly don't turn up very often in the wild or even at swap meets so if you've been looking one don't miss your chance on this one. It's a pretty nice one. International Harvester IH M hit and miss engine oiler
Old original oiler for an IHC Model M engine I believe. It's in good overall condition. The upper glass has a chip but does not look like it would leak oil or otherwise affect the oiler's functionality. There are a few wrench marks on the hex and a few dings here and there but all in all it's nice for +/ 100 year old oiler. Please look at the pictures and decide for yourself. I would say it's a#3 oiler. About identical in size to a#3 Lunkenheimer Sentinel. The pipe threads are 3/8 inch npt and are in good condition. REBUILT Kohler Magnum M20 Engine Simplicity Sunstar Motor 20hp Garden Tractor
For sale is a complete and rebuilt Kohler Magnum M20 20hp horizontal shafted engine. This was removed from a Simplicity Sunstar and the engine has approximately 150 hours on the rebuild. The garden tractor that it was removed from had 400 hours on it. I pulled the motor from a parts tractor that I purchased) The engine starts easy. Does not smoke, makes great power, and runs great through the entire RPM band. I purchased the engine in a rebuilt state, and as a result, do not know the details of the rebuild. I only know that it was sent out to be rebuilt as a result of an engine lock-up. The only damage that I found on the engine were a few small holes in the muffler as a result of rust. You are bidding on a very nice. Dick Shelly 1/3 scale Associated model. I have run it, and it starts right up and will pop them right off until you shut it down. The compression is perfect, you can hold it on compression for as long as you like and it won't leak by. There isn't a single thing wrong with it. Add coleman fuel, connect your battery to the terminals on the wood base, and give it a few flips. It also comes with a nice wood carrying case with handles, you can see the clips that hold it on, at the bottom of the wood platform. This engine is ready to take to the shows and have fun, no machining or tinkering required. This model has been very well cared for. I can get a ride for it to Coolspring, PA swap meet in October for $20. I can also ship it anywhere in the U.S. for $75. Here is a video of this engine running today.

178f diesel air cooled engine single cylinder
I picked it up on a trade and have no use for it. I haven't had it long enough to tell you any thing other than it starts right up and runs smooth. Both electric start and pull start. Also charges the start battery at 13.8v 3/4 output shaft. Rated for both 1800 RPM and 3600 RPM This is a common engine so parts are easy to get. Starts easy and runs smooth. Has VERY high compression. You can't pull it by hand with out using the compression release. This is a"no glow" Air cooled motor so it will run strait vegetable oil or engine oil with ZERO modification. MODEL 178F I will demo the engine if you want. This is for local pick up only. It's to big for me to ship.

Briggs Model Pb. Nice engine with Good Schroud. Brass Tag, Correct Carburator and Manifold. Original Base. Mounted on Oak 2X4 Skids. Has correct muffler. Take a look. Engine shows good. Loose cable is from the throttle. Looks a little slopy and can be re-routed to neaten up. The other cable/wire is the spark plug wire. This is the old cloth cover for the period of the engine. Vintage Lauson RSC-591 Engine, Perfect for Go Kart Mini Bike
This engin was taken out of a real barn with hay and everything here in Oregon just last week. It has been stored inside and looks real good. I can spin the shaft but it has no compression. Im sure it needs rings or piston rebuilt. I did not pull the head or wrench on anything, im leaving it just as i found it as it looks like it's in original condition. The fuel tank is clean and it's not rusted. I did drain the oil and it looked normal, no metal or anything like that. I think it's a compleat engin, i don't see anything missing aside from two screws that holds the fan couling cover. These are the perfect motor for the mini bike. It's 11 1/2 wide X 12 X 15 high and it's fairly light, about 32 pounds. The weight makes shipping a little hight but im trying to keep it at cost. Vintage Maytag Model 92 Engine & Exhaust Pipe Ready To Restore
Being offered is a Maytag model 92 engine and exhaust pipe that is ready to restore. The serial# dates this engine to 1929. The flywheel is pitted where the serial numbers are stamped. The only numbers the can be read are 406 26. The exhaust pipe is 5 ft. long. This engine has good compression. It also has a MAYTAG CHAMPION spark plug. I am not an expert on this particular make of engine but I suspect it was built by Alamo and marketed by the Rock Island Plow Company of Rock Island. Illinois. There may also have been an identical engine sold under the name of Empire but I am not sure of that. This is a cute little engine with flywheels that are only 17-1/2" in diameter. You might notice in the video the noise when the pull start moves while the engine is running. This is from the pull start needing to be oiled. 2-1/2 hp. Type 908522. Serial#5905130. 3/4"x2-1/4" shaft. Notice in the last photo that the throttle return spring is not factory and is to large to get past the shroud. A previous owner had done this and had made some small cuts in the shroud and bent the"tabs" over to make room for the spring. I left the spring in place but did straighten the"tabs" that were cut. All that really needs to be done is to replace the spring with a smaller diameter one. See my other antique engine ads. I will be listing more over the next several weeks. This is a Jefferson Make& Break spark coil. It has been tested and is HOT! It throws a fat blue spark. It is in nice condition and measures 6-1/8" long x 2-1/4" wide. This coil is for an ignitor fired gas engine and will not work with a spark plug fired engine. These original coils always look better in the coil box than a modern coil! antique Reo small gas engine motor with unusual pulley attachment
Used Reo brand antique small gas engine/ motor. Found it in the back of my Dad's shed when cleaning up an old junk pile. Seems to be complete except for the gas cap and the nut that holds the ropestart pulley on. I believe the gas tank bracket is homemade. It seems to have been repainted at some point as well. Motor turns over with pretty good compression. I have not tried to start it. The interesting part of this unit it that the power side of the motor has a housing attached that changes the pulley from vertical to horizontal. And it looks like the ID tag has had additional info stamped on it(maybe to indicate a factory addition of the pulley housing, but that is just my suspicion) Dad does not recall ever seeing the unit or using it on the farm. No idea where this came from or how old it is, but I would guess 50s or early 60s. I believe ... morethe ID info on the tag says: REO 660 HR27 H102897X The HR27 appears to have been hand-stamped after the main data was already there. Hello: Just found this in a very old shed. Not sure what it is. Looks like it might be a steam engine converted to a pump. Just a wild guess. You be the judge. It measures 25" long. 9" wide. 9 1/4" overall height. the Brass Fly wheel is 9 1/4" diam. 5/8" wide and total weight is 38 lbs. It is all most all Brass except for the base and screws and bolts and round piston rod. It was partially apart and not bolted to the base. I bolted it to the base with modern bolts. It turns over smooth and one of the outlets on top sucks and the other one blows. I think it could be used as a pump or very nice display or show. I couldn't make myself throw it in the scrap Brass. It is a large 7/8 inch thread plug with long reach extension. These were used in the big oil field type engines. I checked it with an old magneto. It still throws a nice blue spark. Presented for your consideration is this New Holland hit and miss engine. This engine is a New Holland Machine Co. New Holland PA Model 021, true 1 1/2 hp, Speed 100 to 400 RPM. It is in excellent condition. This engine was done by K&J Machine Ship in August of 2003. It has only been run a few times and is free of defects. This engine has no cracks, breaks or welds that I can find anywhere. The green battery box is included, and will go with the engine. This engine measures approximately 20" long x 15" tall. Lunkenheimer Paragon oiler hit miss engine machine Early Style patent NICE look
Up for auction is a vintage Lunkenheimer paragon engine oiled. It is in good clean shape. The glass is in great shape. And the rest of the oiler as well. There is a patent date on the top of the lid of 1902 and also on the tightening nut section at the bottom. It is jan 31st 1905 It is a model 1 1/2 paragon. This oiler has something have never seen before on an oiler.
