Old Fuller Johnson N Hit Miss Gas Engine Ignitor Steam Tractor Magneto Oiler
This is an original ignitor for a Fuller and Johnson hit and miss gas engine. It is part number 2N88A and fits the 1 1/2 through the 12hp engines. It mounts with two 1/2 inch holes 2 3/4 inches apart on center. There are no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind except for the tip of the movable shaft by the point. This should be an easy repair. The movable shaft has VERY little wear. The trip parts on the outside end of the movable shaft are missing but these would be pretty easy to make. The spring that's on it is not original it's just to hold the movable shaft from falling out. This would be a perfectly usable ignitor with just a little bit of work so if you need one for a project don't miss it. They don't turn up that often even at swap meets! The pictures tell the story. Old Original Fuller Johnson N Hit Miss Gas Engine Starting Crank Steam Tractor
This is a real nice original cast iron starting crank for a Fuller and Johnson hit and miss gas engine. It is in part number 6N153 and is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It fits on a 2 inch crankshaft and would certainly work on any engine that it fits on but it came from the factory with a Fuller and Johnson engine. I'm pretty sure it is for a 6, 7, and 8hp engine but measure your engine to be sure. This crank is ready to go to work starting an engine. These originals don't turn up very often and they really make starting your engine easier not to mention making your restoration complete at the shows! The pictures tell the story on this one. Old Fuller Johnson Hit Miss Gas Engine Governor Detent Steam Tractor Magneto
This is a real nice original governor detent or hookup for a Fuller and Johnson N gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It pivots with a 1/2 inch hole and is part number 11N71. I believe this if for the smaller 1 1/2 and 2hp engines but may fit the larger engines as well as the vertical farm pump engine. It has very little wear and is ready to go to work on an engine. These are often broken, repaired, or missing so if you need one here's a nice one. 7hp Fuller&Johnson gas engine
Selling this very original 7hp fuller&johnson model KA throttle governed engine. The 2 things wrong are the gas tank need replaced. The original will be good for a pattern, and the gov. dashpot is broken(pictured) It does not effect the running of the engine. I run it on the start side of the mixer which will run it 20 minutes. Lots of work done including a new brass rod bearing(the original bearing is included) and new valves. Very good compression. The faces of the flywheels are 4" wide and are straight. Also has the rare rod guard and a nice pulley and is on the original skids. Nice big engine and is sold as is, the dolly pictured is not for sale. Due to the size, I will not ship it but I have a cherry picker that will lift it and can assist loading it on a low trailer. Cankcase bearing plate for a Fuller& Johnson engine. Part number J8M. It fits all years of the celebrated Farm Pump Engine. Multimotor and model J having the very rare gear driven high tension magneto. This plate can also be used to convert your engine from battery to magneto ignition if you do the milling on your crankcase. Overall it's in good shape except for the obvious break. Late style magneto bracket for Fuller& Johnson engines. Part# 13N190A. It was used on 1 1/2hp model N engines as well as 2 1/2hp model N and NA engines from s/n 79426 to 79525 and then 80901 onwards. It would have used a Splitdorf E-16 or model G low tension magneto. The bracket is in great condition with no repairs at all. Often if they're even still on the engine these brackets are usually repaired and badly done so at that. Here is your chance to pick up a great original ready to use bracket!

Old Fuller Johnson N Throttling Governor Hit Miss Gas Engine Carb Mixer Steam
This is an EXTREMELY hard to find original fuel mixer for a Fuller and Johnson throttling governor kerosene engine. It is in good condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs. The fuel needles are stuck but I'm sure they would move with a little heat. This mixer mounts to the engine with 2 bolts on 3 inch centers. It is for a 7hp engine but may fit other sizes as well. It could always be adapted to fit your engine as these mixers for engines of any size are almost impossible to find. With just a little elbow grease this will be a perfect mixer. Fuller & Johnson Hit Miss Vintage Sationary Gas Engine Kerosene Vaporizer body
Kerosene vaporizer body for a Fuller& Johnson engine. Part number 7K110. It fits all years of the 7hp model K and KA. It is bare save for the starting check valve and weight which I can hear rattling around. This part is in great shape and must have come from an engine that was kept indoors or well covered. The starting chamber is not full of rust or trash and is not cracked. Often these got water in them and froze or they took a hit and the flange ears got broken off. If that happened to your engine then here is a great replacement. Just swap over your small parts and you will back up and running again.

Splitdorf Magneto NO. 30 HOT Hit Miss Gas Engine Fuller&Johnson& others Brass
I have for you r condideration a VERY RARE SPLITDORF MAGNETO NO. 30. This was used on several different applications of gas engines. This particular one can from a Fuller& Johnson Model N 5hp with 30 teeth on the gear. The Magneto is HOT and throws a nice spark. The base is in excellent condition. With nice clean threads in the holes. The holes measure 2" on center. The serial# 16646 are stamped in the alum base. The bake a lite leadout tower is in nice conditon for it's age and has no decay on it, proving it has never been left to the elements. The back plate(gear side) has some wear on the shaft or plate, and may need a bushing someday. The oil cups are not busted off to show you this mag was cared for all it's life. The slot for the pushrod is cut for 1" The original green paint is screaming through the grease. All the holes look pretty round and not all worn out. The govenor ball housing is chipped away. Magneto pinon gear for a Fuller& Johnson engine. This is the old style with the magneto being driven by the cam gear. Fits 2 1/2. 3, 4 and 5hp model N and K engines. This is not magneto brand specific. Accurate. Elkhart, Sumter or Splitdorf they all used this same gear. This gear is in fair condition. The only reason I say this is because a few teeth have moderate pitting where they were meshed with the cam gear. Rest of the teeth are near new with hardly any wear. It's still solid and will work just fine.

Original Hit and Miss Gas Engine Cast Iron Straight Pulley Fuller & Johnson 6x4
I have for you r consideration the Original Cast Iron Straight Pulley for a Fuller& Johnson. The pulley measures 6" in diameter by 4" on the face. The bolt spacing for mounting is 4" on center. I do not see any casting#s on the pulley. But I was told it is F&J by a Gas Engine Expert. It would look correct on a 1 1/2-3 HP engine. Now you can bolt this pulley on and put your engine to work. Let this kick off your winter restoration. Have a nice original tank in your nice original engine. Antique Fuller & Johnson hit-and-miss engine, running condition.
You are bidding on an antique Fuller& Johnson hit-and-miss engine. It's lost its nameplate with the serial number so I don't know manufacturing date or model but it looks like 1-1/2 hp Model"N" Except it has a WICO magneto. Not an ignitor. Probably 1920's vintage. An eight-page reproduction Fuller& Johnson manual from 1923(included with this auction) appears to describe this engine. Lost its paint also and looks like used a lot, to drive a cement mixer perhaps. I replaced spark plug that looked a little rounded. The WICO magneto doesn't have really big spark, but enough to run it. The bar magnets probably need to be re-magnetized, I don't know. I measured the capacitance of capacitor inside the WICO and it appears to be within correct range. I rigged up a spark coil ignition which has a much better spark, ... moreto try to get a better idea of how the engine is supposed to run. Restoring this engine looked like too much work for me. So I'm selling it. Out of curiosity, I measured the pressure profile during compression and firing. To do this I drilled and tapped a#10-32 UNF hole(threads half-way) through the cylinder head and used a Clippard fitting to connect to 1/8 inch copper tubing. Peak of 200 psi running no load, when choked about 225 psi peak pressure. Flywheel maxed at 333 rpm when kicked by power stroke(no load) Under load I presume it would fire on every four-stroke cycle, instead of coasting(holding exhaust valve open) three or so cycles. Rough measurement of 5 inch stroke, 1.19 inch distance to flat head at top of stroke, for about 5.2 compression ratio. Cylinder diameter 3-1/2 inches. That measurement hole is now plugged from inside with light press fit steel plug, and brass machine screw on outside(see photo) I created flat spots on the outside of the casting for good seal with the Clippard fitting. Sorry, kind of messy, I miss-located first flat. Also I rigged up a rubber friction drive wheel powered by a 1/3 hp ac motor to save my arms. Much easier to start. Just

3hp Fuller & Johnson original tin Crank guard
This is an original tin crankguard for what I believe is a 3hp Fuller& Johnson engine. These Crankguards are hard to find. And this is a very nice solid example of this crankguard. The finish is little rusty but still has lots of orginal paint. Guard itself is about 5-1/8" wide, the mounting bracket holes are about 8-1/2 inches wide. the guard is too small for my five horse engine and way bigger than the guard on my 1-1/2 hp engine, that is why I believe it is for a 3 hp engine.
