This is a magneto trip rocker for a Wico EK magneto that was used on dozens of hit and miss gas engines. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has very little wear on the trip block and is ready to be used on an engine or put in the drawer for a spare. WICO EK MAGNETO for NOVO "HOT"
WICO EK"HOT" Will fit the vertical NOVO's that take an EK as the need the trip area turned 90deg. from the way most other engines are designed. Getting toughter to find these! Has been serviced.Points cleaned and adjusted and coils and condensor tested and replaced if necessary. Has good spark and is ready to run.Thanks and good luck.

WICO EK MAGNETO with Brass case, moves ok; assume good!
My step dad passed away and left some things like this we're trying to move to someone that can appreciate them. He was a really great guy and I assume he probably had painted this and had it ready for operation. The shafts look nice but I have no experience with these devices so let me know if there is anything you want me to do to test it. or if that's even necessary. I measure 7.3K ohm from the HV contact to ground so that would be a typical coil measurement so. Probably it's a fairly reliable mechanism if those parts looks good I'd think. The spring looks good in the cap also. I didn't bother to set it up and test it since I'd be virtually positive with that reading that it's working but let me know if you have trouble and we'll work it out. Happy bidding!

Here is a decent looking Wico EK magneto for your hit& miss engine. Pot metal does have some pitting and corrosion. But the coils look pretty fair as well as the magnets and armature. It wouldnt suprise me a bit if this mag is 5 minutes of work away from being able to spark. I haven't messed with it though and it's being sold as is, for parts or get it working and use as is! Old Sattley Hit Miss Gas Engine Wico EK Magneto Bracket Steam Tractor Oiler NICE
This is an original cast iron magneto bracket for mounting a Wico EK magneto on a Sattley hit and miss or throttling governor gas engine. It is bracket number NF225 and mounts with two holes 1 3/4 inches apart on center. The slot for the push rod is 3/4 inch wide x 1 inch tall. I believe it is for a 2hp engine but may fit other sizes as well. Please measure your engine or consult a parts book to be sure it is correct for your application. it is in perfect condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. The only flaw that I've noted is that the pin holding the advance/retard tab is worn. I'm sure this could be peened and work just fine. These brackets are often broken, repaired, or missing so if you've been looking for one here's your chance. The pictures tell the story. They just don't get much nicer. Good Luck.

Old Original Lauson Alpha Wico EK Magneto Bracket Hit Miss Gas Engine Oiler
This is an original magneto bracket for a Lauson or Alpha hit and miss gas engine. I believe it is for the 1 1/2 and 2 1/2hp engines but measure your engine to be sure. It is part number W124. It bolts in as a replacement for an igniter. It has been repaired in one spot but it was very nicely done and is pretty tough to notice. The overall condition is nice. No other cracks.Breaks or repairs. It mounts to the engine with two 7/16" holes that are 2-3/8" apart on center. The pictures tell the story. Take a look! Good luck.

This is a extremely hard to find original Wico AX high tension magneto for a hit and miss gas engine. It is fresh out of an early collectors estate and is untested. The case looks to be pretty good with a few minor blemishes and the leadout looks to be real nice. These AX's are the big brother to the Wico EK magnetos and were a bit earlier. They were made for an extremely short period of time! They were used on some of the Novo. Hercules, Economy, and Domestic engines and possibly a few others. I believe that of the parts to rebuild them are available as they are the same as PR parts. It mounts with two holes 1 1/8 inches apart on center. If you've been looking for one here's your chance. Original Brass Wico EK Magneto Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam Tractor Oiler HOT!!
This is a real nice original BRASS Wico EK magneto for a hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It has MANY applications in the gas engine world. It is in excellent condition for it's age with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. The case is in nice condition and not all beat up like a lot of them that you see. A new condenser has just been installed and the magnets have just been recharged. It puts out a hot, fat, blue spark that is sure to run your engine if it is set up properly. This magneto has the STOP button on the front cover which is a nice feature to shut your engine off instead of messing with the needle valve. The roller pin in the bottom of the armature clevis has been replaced with a cotter pin and should be replaced before using the magneto. These magnetos are tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets ... moreand usually require several hundred dollars worth of repair work. Don't miss your chance on this one. It would even make a great spare on the shelf. It's pretty crispy and the pictures tell the story. I've had several of these over the years and this is one of the nicer ones I've had. Here I have a nice vintage WICO EK MAGNETO complete with the speed control/timing(armature) attachment. This jewel has excellent blue spark when the armature is snapped see pic 8& 9. The case is brass altho is painted flat black. Lead tower looks good see pic 10(one small ding) and the stop button with good spring resistance. It has the original Wico name plate with no. 501956 and lots of patent dates. These magnetos were used on many different types of engines. This particular one came off a 4hp C8 Cushman Binder Engine. Old Lauson Alpha DeLaval Hit Miss Gas Engine Wico EK Magneto Bracket Steam Oiler
This is a real nice original magneto mounting bracket for a John Lauson or Alpha/DeLaval hit and miss gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind and even has some nice original green paint on it yet. It is part number W124C and mounts with two 5/16 holes 3 11/16 inches apart on center. I'm pretty sure it is for the 1 1/2, 2 1/2, and 3 1/2hp Model W solid flywheel Lauson or Alpha engines but measure your engine to be sure. It may fit others as well. If you've been looking for one because your bracket is broken, repaired, or missing, here's your chance. It would also be a good spare on the shelf. The pictures tell the story. This is a pretty decent original Wico EK magneto armature cover. These are quite often missing or completely beat up. This one isn't perfect but it's pretty decent and with a little patience I think could be made to look pretty good. It has two dents in the front of it which I think could be straightened out fairly easily. All of the mounting tabs are still on it which is fairly unusual. Original 3hp IHC Type M Gas Engine WICO EK Magneto Steam Tractor Ignitor Oiler
This is a real nice original barn fresh 3hp International Harvester Type M gas engine. It is a throttle governed gas engine. It turns over nicely and has excellent compression even though it hasn't run for a few years. It has Wico EK magneto on it and also a nice large belt pulley. It has the original gas tank in it and it seems pretty solid. It has a very old repair on the rocker stand and on the fuel pump but both are fairly hard to see because the fuel pump is tucked under the magneto. the original muffler should probably be replaced as can be seen. This engine has a good amount of original paint and decals on it and more to be found under the grease. Judging by the overall wear on the moving parts of this engine. Especially the governor fork, it's a pretty low hour engine. It is on the original skids and although they have some ... morescars on them they also have most of the original lettering on them! It shouldn't take much work at all to make noise with this engine and it will be a very respectable original show piece! I can deliver this engine for free to Coolspring, PA, or Portland, IN, later this year. I can also ship it quite reasonably through Fastenal. Up for your bidding consideration we are offering this very nice vintage Wico Type EK hit& miss engine magneto. Dating from about 1920 or so. Serial#936852 Canada Patent 1920 Magneto features black painted brass shell and appears to be complete, other than actuator yoke. Shell recently repainted flat black as it originally was. Name plate has some corrosion but is mostly readable. Unit is clean, magnets are good, has not been tested, some minor shallow dents on case.
