This is an original valve cover wing nut for a 1 1/2hp or 3-5hp International Harvester type LA or LB gas engine. It is in good condition for it's age. Has perfect threads and is ready to be used on an engine. It would clean up and paint very nicely. These original wing nuts were often replaced with a standard wing nut so if you need an original cast iron one here's your chance. The pictures tell the story. International IHC LA or LB 3-5 HP Water Hopper Extension Hit Miss
Very difficult to find International 3-5 HP Water Hopper Extension. Will fit LA or LB. Has a few holes from leaves and muck sitting in the water hopper and the upper cast vent cap has a piece broken out as shown. The hopper is easily repairable by a good auto body shop by cutting out the rust holes and welding in new metal. The cast vent cap is also repairable with some effort to fabricate the missing piece and some brazing in of the new piece. The engine in the picture is NOT for sale nor is the hay baler. I just showed them so you would see it installed on an engine. Don't let this item get away- when is the last time you saw one for sale?

This cylinder head. Carburetor mixer fits an International Harvester Company LA LB 1-1/2 2-1/2 hp gas engine. The needle valve turns. The choke pushes down and springs back. The throttle valve turns. There are 2 head bolts and the spark plug with it. The valves are stuck. The threads in the carb for the fuel line need retapping. The casting no. is 3557D and the IHC logo. This valve cover with drip tube fits an International Harvest Company Model LB 1-1/2 2-1/2 hp gas engine. Measuring from the mounting bolt hole to the back of cover it is 5-3/4" It is 5-7/8" wide and 6-3/8" tall. This cover has been repainted inside and out. There is no pitting. It is very smooth. Original IHC International 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 LA LB Hit Miss Tin Hopper Extension
Nice original 1 1/2-2 1/2 horse power International Model LA or LB tin hopper extension. The lip that goes around the inside is slightly rusty. The rest of the tin is solid. This is the only part that I have. I don't have the rubber seal or the clamp that holds the extension on to the engine. This unfortunately won't fit into a flat rate box. It is about 7.5 inches tall. I am sure there are other excuses but I don't want to hear them. I have no interest in any bidders personal problems, talk to your pastor or therapist if you need help. If someone doesn't pay I will ban them from my listings and also tell all my freinds who sell tractor and engine parts on ebay to watch for you.
