Nice old briggs FI. Serial# 3629, turns over but does not run, gas tank dented up, and flywheel nut missing, this makes the flywheel loose on shaft. I really dont know anything about this engine but will answer any question best I can. I will make a wood crate for shipping.

Briggs Model FI Gas Tank Cap.
Briggs Gas Tank Cap. Cap is for the 1 inch fine thread that is on the model FI gas tanks. This will fit several others with the same opening seen on the FHI. M engines and I sure a few others. Cap is not original but looks close. Painted in primer. The vent hole has a fine screen to prevent the gas from splashing out. Nice cap with knurled edge.

Vintage Tillotson carburetor for Briggs & Stratton FG FI and FHI models
This auction is for a good used Tillotson MS5A carb for a Briggs FG. FHI, or FI series engine. Its been cleaned and tested on a known good running FG engine and it ran well. The only thing that wasnt reusable when tearing down the carb was the gasket for the bowl cover but vendors have repros available on here very reasonable. The carb cleaned up well but note it does have small pitting on it but the casting is solid. These carbs are scarce as hens teeth. Vintage 1929 Briggs & Stratton FI engine
This auction is for a 1929 Briggs FI engine off a Moto-Mower reel mower. When I got this engine the starter side shroud was gone and the tank was rusty and unusable as was the muffler. I tore the engine completely down and degreased it. I honed the cylinder and installed new rings from Starbolt. A repro ignition cable and loom, N.O.S Allstate Cross Country spark plug, repro starter spring, repro muffler and a repro gas tank and cap I bought for another engine last year. The engine has great compression and very hot spark even with the original condenser. I ground the valves and seats and lapped them. Cleaned the carb( top has two small splits on the ribs but isnt warped and doesnt leak and is otherwise in great shape) and rebent the fuel line proper. Ive run this engine about two hours to let the rings start to seat and it runs like new and ... moreyou can run it pretty slow and steady which is a good indication of a healthy engine. It doesnt smoke or knock and only gets better as things seat back in. Overall an above average runner. I didnt paint it because I like to keep them old looking and was going to strip the paint off the spare shroud I installed on it if I kept it. The only thing it needs is a tag. It has so much compression its hard to turn over with the lever unless its bolted down so I start it on the bench with a drill and socket. This is sold as is. Old Original JACOBSEN Four Cycle Briggs Stratton FH FI Hit Miss Gas Engine NICE!
This is a very hard to fine original Jacobsen four cycle double push rod/rocker arm air cooled gas engine. It was original used on the putting green mower they produced for golf courses. The engine turns over nicely and has some compression but I think there may be a little dirt under a valve. The original gas tank and air cleaner is still on the engine which is quite a rarity. There are no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. ALL of the cooling fins are in great shape which is VERY unusual. This engine was Jacobsen's answer to the popular FH and FI models that were being made by Briggs and Stratton at the time. From the information that I've been given around 1700 of these engines were produced and their mortality rate was quite high! It is missing the shroud as can be seen but these turn up occasionally ... moreand are usually marketed as a Briggs shroud. Included in the sale is the ORIGINAL Jacobsen Putting Green Mower serial tag from the mower that this engine came off of. These serial tags are even more scarce than the engine! This engine should be a pretty straightforward project and would be a great and rare addition to your air cooled engine collection or display! I can deliver this for free to Baraboo, WI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, later this year. I can also ship it quite reasonably through Fastenal. What a great barn find.Up for grabs is a vintage Sears Roebuck David Bradley Model 500-306115 Briggs& Stratton engine.Very hard to find with gas tank.Turning it by hand feels like good compression.The only thing I see missing is the pull rope but keep in mind there could be other parts.Has the glass bowl on the carb.Gas tank has decals but have wear.There are some dents on tank but inside looks good.Looks like it was drained of gas before storing.Does have oil in it which will be drained before shipment.It does have some minor rust and is greasy.Who knows clean it up and it may run.I know these were on many things.Not sure exactly what year or what it came off.Will be packed well.Will be insured with delivery confirmation.Email any questions sold as-is

Briggs Stratton Model F Fi Fg Fc Fh FB Flywheel Mag Breather Governor Pulley Cup
These parts came off some fh motors I had in the past. The coils are untested. I believe the flywheel came off a fh or maybe fi? The coils fit in the flywheel but are tight. The starter cup in either home made or off something other than a f engine. It will work! One shroud bracket included but real rusty. The breather threads are good but rusty. Governor pulley is nice.
