WICO EK Magneto Armature Roller Rustproof Stainless Steel Replacement Part I made up a few of these a while back when a friend of mine needed ... morea couple to replace one that was worn flat on one side and one that had been replaced with a piece of soft copper tubing which had deformed to an oval shape and was almost worn clear through on one side. We took one of his good ones apart and took all the necessary measurements from it to make the new ones from. These are made to same specifications as original except for the fact that I made them out of rustproof stainless steel. I also have a couple I made out of Grade 5 and Grade 8 bolt material that I might list later on. But for now I am trying a single auction for one of the stainless rollers. If yours is worn or missing. Here's your chance to get a Brand New replacement roller. Many of the originals have ended up with a flat spot worn on one side over the years which causes erratic engine firing due to the excess clearance between the roller and the trip arm. Selling AS IS based on picture and description. It is a Brand New replacement roller Made In America for the WICO EK magneto. It will be well packaged. But I make No Guarantees, not knowing how the Postal Workers will handle it. If they drop it and run over it with a mail baggage cart or something heavy, it could be damaged due to how thin it is, but again, it will be well packaged and should arrive just fine. It is part number 42CT1 and mounts with two holes 2 inches on center. I believe it is for all sizes of the CT engines but measure your engine to be sure. It is ready to be used on an engine. WICO EK MAGNETO with Brass case, moves ok; assume good!
My step dad passed away and left some things like this we're trying to move to someone that can appreciate them. He was a really great guy and I assume he probably had painted this and had it ready for operation. The shafts look nice but I have no experience with these devices so let me know if there is anything you want me to do to test it. or if that's even necessary. I measure 7.3K ohm from the HV contact to ground so that would be a typical coil measurement so. Probably it's a fairly reliable mechanism if those parts looks good I'd think. The spring looks good in the cap also. I didn't bother to set it up and test it since I'd be virtually positive with that reading that it's working but let me know if you have trouble and we'll work it out. Happy bidding!

A Wico single cylinder magneto. Wico type A567B Z Serial no. E187534 Anticlockwise rotation when viewed fron the drive end. It is a trip type magneto. Driven by a disc with two driving dogs. See third picture. The black plastic top is complete and free from cracks. It does have a few scratches. There is one cover screw missing. Both oil labels are present and in good readable condition. The housing is in good condition and free from defects. 3 mounting bolts are included in the sale.The points are good, but could do with a clean up. I tested the spark with a neon test screwdriver and turned it over by hand and it lit the neon. I have not tested it with a spark plug. There is a copper off button fitted on one side, which looks as though it could also be fitted on the other side. The unit is complete, and turns over freely. No charge for p ... moreand p. HOT Wico X Series Magneto XH1961 Y-67 Wisconsin TFD TJD Engine Two Cylinder
Up for sale is a complete antique Wico XH1961 two cylinder magneto to top off your engine project. This carburetor can fit Wisconsin engines TFD and TJD series. As well as other applications needing a gear drive mag for a two cylinder engine. The Wisconsin part number is Y-67. The serial number is 906830. I have rebuilt this magneto to my personal restoration standards. The impulse coupling has been freed up. And I have disassembled the entire unit and cleaned the internal parts of dust and dirt from years of use. The condenser and points were replaced, gapped, and tested. This mag was designed to throw a hot blue spark across two spark plugs at the same time, and this example is doing its job 100% Externally. It needs a coat of paint or a shine of the case to bring it to show quality. The lead cover has blisters from age on the front, but ... moreit still does its job of sealing the mag and connecting to the coil to the spark plug wires. This cover is the main problem with the mag. It is ready to go to work. Please check my other auctions for other hard to find antique small engine parts! Series A Wico high tension magneto.
This auction is for a Wico series A. High tension magneto. It appears complete and the sprocket turns easily by hand, but i have no idea if it is working or not(hence listing as parts/ not working) I'm guessing this would be a stationary engine part? but i really have no idea. It was amongst a great many other items in our garage, ranging from car parts through motorcycle parts to stationary engine parts and beyond. All of which belonged to my late father. So i have no idea of age or what this was fitted to, or why it was removed. I guess the pictures will do more to describe it than i can. But i'll try and add detail to some specific parts. Whilst looking it over i found another plate on top of the sprocket housing with what appears to be serial numbers it reads: Wico type A(729B) Z. Serial no(419438) The numbers in brackets are ... morestamped into the plate. Sprocket is a 15 tooth. There is a 4 bolt fixing on the base. Approx 52 mm between bolt centers. One"stop" lever is bent out sideways as shown in pic 5. This magneto was removed from a running engine and I have had it sitting on a shelf. Dry stored and humidity controlled for about 30 years as a spare.
