Antique Vintage Oil Can Sunoco Motor Cup Grease One Pound Can Nice!
This is another neat old oil can from my late husband's collection. It is blue and yellow with the familiar Sunoco logo. The front of the can says"Motor Cup Grease Not for Pressure Systems" and"Sun Oil Company. Philadelphia, Pa USA" The can says"Contents One Pound Net" and there is still some lube in it, so the total package weighs about 1 lb eight ounces. This can is really old but the colors are still nice and bright and most of the text is legible. There is some fine print showing a copyright date of 1958. Hopefully you can read it in my close up photo. It measures approximately 4 1/2" high by 3 1/4" wide. A really neat can and great addition to a gas or oil collection! Its marked on the top Ohio Injector Company Wadsworth. Ohio, it has a number one above the threads for the size. The body measures about 2 inches tall and is 2 inches in diameter, overall this is 4 inches from top to bottom with the screw in the position as shown in the pictures, this has a 1/4 NPT thread. This is a real nice original big automatic greaser for a hit and miss gas engine. Steam tractor, pump, or other piece of early equipment. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It measures about 2 1/4 inches in diameter and about 5 inches tall. The inside is in great condition and this greaser works perfectly. It has 3/8 inch pipe threads which are in excellent condition. It could be polished if you like or leave the original patina as it is. These big greasers don't turn up that often and usually they are beat up or worn out so if you've been looking for a good one here it is. The pictures tell the story. This auction is for one(1) vintage grease cup or lubricator. It is rather small with the body or reservoir measuring approximately 1 1/8” tall by 5/8ths of an inch wide. The handle when fully extended will add approximately 3/4s of an inch to the height and add about ¼ of an inch when screwed in completely. This grease cup is in excellent condition. The corners on the hex portion are not rounded and do not appear to have had pliers used on them. Please look at the pictures for more on the condition as they show it better than I can describe it. The 4 Larger ones although appear similar are each a bit different in one way or another no two are an identical match. The Larger 4 are approx 1 3/16" ID. The Smallest one is 3/4" ID and the One With the IH Logo is 15/16" ID. The one with the IH Logo has been Modified, the Hole in the Top was drilled. The Smaller One the hole appears to be factory done and original, but I am not sure. Good Pieces for a Collection or to have on hand for a Vintage Restoration.

Old IHC M Hit Miss Gas Engine Connecting Rod Grease Cup Steam Tractor Magneto
This is a rather hard to find original crankshaft connecting rod grease cup for an International Harvester Type M gas engine. It is factory equipment for the 1 1/2. 3, and 6hp engines and is in excellent used condition with only minor wear from its years of service. These are often missing, broken, or damaged beyond repair so if you need one for a restoration don't miss this one. It has a little surface rust on the cup but this will polish out easily. The threads are in excellent condition and this is ready to be put to use. The pictures tell the story. Antique brass grease cup for Hit or Miss. Steam or early gasoline automobile engine. Overall height 2 1/2" Overall diameter 1 5/8" Bottom thread is 1/4" NPT. Flats measure 1 3/8" across. Internal cap threads down as top is turned to force grease out. There are no manufacturer markings on the fitting. It shows some wear and some nicks, but overall is in very nice condition.

Overall height 1 5/8" Knurled top opens for lubrication port and then spring action automatically shuts top. These measure 1" across the flats. The thread is 18 TPI. The thread is tapered and measures 0.650" at the bottom. One of the fittings has the numeral"7" stamped on the side. Otherwise there are no markings. Two of the fittings have a couple of bumps on the flats, but overall, they are in very nice shape. There are three fittings in the lot.

Old Sparta Economy Hercules Hit Miss Gas Engine Brass Rod Grease Cup Steam Oiler
This is a very hard to find original brass automatic greaser for the connecting rod bearing on a hit and miss gas engine. I'm pretty sure it was factory equipment on the Sparta Economy and early Evansville built Economy and Hercules engines. I've had a couple untouched original engines that both had these greasers on the connecting rod. This one measures about 1 3/16 inches in diameter at its widest and about 2 3/8 inches tall. It has 1/8 inch pipe threads that are in excellent conditon. It has a 00 stamped on a flat of the hex. It is in great condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has some blemishes on the knurling but this could be remedied if you so choose.
