These tanks are ready to use and will certainly last a long time. We do recommend our Red Kote fuel/gas tank liner for coating the insides of the tanks prior to use. Covers most/all engines 1.5hp to 60hp both throttle governed and hit& miss. Its a larger print book measuring 8.5 by 11 inches. When we got this book to reprint it was a mess. We got it cleaned up pretty well. Its not perfect but its very readable and the larger print helps a lot. It covers a lot of stuff on lots of Stover engines. As well as Mags for them. The washer looking piece that looks to be part of the casting is something I haven’t quite seen before, not sure if it’s a casting flaw or what but I’m not sure what it’s purpose was. Magneto oil caps broken but cause no problem, see picture. No original gas tank, and crank guard, other that that it seems to be all there. Muffler may not be correct one, but works fine. Hit and miss engine Stover CT1 mixer
Stover CT1 throttle governed mixer.Similiar to the CT2 mixer but uses 5/16 mounting holes instead of 3/8 holes used on a CT2. I just overhaul it.Nothing broken seized.Butterfly turns freely,has 1 new needle valve and 2 new needle valve springs.It is ready to bolt on. The only unusual thing is the hole drilled on the side of the reservoir.I don't think that is factory done and for what purpose is unknown but does not effect filling the bowl to 75% West System resin is applyed inside the bowl to eliminate rust when the engine sits for long periods(I have used this and works great) The aluminum piping is not original. Old Stover K Hit Miss Gas Engine Fuel Mixer Carburetor Steam Tractor Magneto
This is a real nice original fuel mixer or carburetor for a Stover hit and miss gas engine. I believe it if for a Model K engine but may fit others like the CT series as well. It mounts with two 3/8 inch holes 2 inches apart on center. The needle moves as it should. There are no cracks. Breaks, or repairs anywhere except for the screw that holds the choke door on. I'm sure this would be and easy repair with just a little patience. These mixers are rather hard to find so if you need one for a restoration or just for a spare on the shelf here's your chance. Up for bids is this very nice Webster Tri-polar Oscillator Magneto for old hit and miss gas engine. Mag seems to be in great shape with not a lot of wear. Brass tag is in good shape also. I did put this on an igniter that I have and it did put out very good blue spark. read to go on your gas engine. One oiler hole on the inside of mag.engine side) is missing oiler cap and has been broken. See pictures. Mag bolt pattern measures 1-1/2" X 2" This mag has several applications. This is an original governor detent for a Stover hit and miss gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Break, or repairs of any kind. It has a part number of 128K2 on the detent arm and 127K2 on the arm that runs to the governor shaft. I believe it is for a 2hp Model K but may fit other sizes and models as well. Please do your homework. It mounts to the engine with two 1/2 inch holes 2 inches apart on center. It has very little noticeable wear on it and it is ready to be used on an engine. Old Stover K Hit Miss Gas Engine Motor Cam Gear Steam Tractor Magneto Oiler
This is an original cam gear for an early Stover K hit and miss gas engine. It is part number 22K1 and is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has a fair amount of original paint on it yet. It measures about 4 5/8 inches in diameter with a 5/8 inch width on the teeth. It is 1 1/2 inches"thick" overall and has a 3/4 inch bore. It has 54 teeth and they are in excellent condition with very little wear. I believe this was the cam gear on the early spark plug fired Stover K engines before they offered a magneto attachment as it has the timer pin in it. This is a very hard to find gear and it could also replace a cam gear in an engine that you didn't want to buy a magneto for. The pictures tell the story. They just don't get much nicer! Good Luck.

Stover CT2 hit and miss engine from 1938
Up for sale is a Stover CT2 engine from 1938. It is a hit and miss type engine. I think it was used on a cement mixer at one time. The rocker arm bracket was repaired long ago(brazed) and doesn't affect the operation of the motor. I haven't ran it in a long time but filled it with fresh gas and it fires over and ran a bit. I'm sure it needs some fine tuning but it is complete and has a new fuel tank and fuel line and check valve. Original crank is also there. Nice Coffin Top design of hopper. Antique Stover vertical three hp 1902/1904 hit and miss engine. very rare
Very old Stover vertical hit and miss engine. No serial number found but dates to the early 1900's. Because many original parts were missing a man converted it to a propane vertical side shaft engine and it runs well. Could be converted back to original if parts were found or made. It is on a nice old cart that goes with the engine. Battery. coil and propane tank are included. Shipping would be up to the buyer and it can be stored inside as long as it is paid for when sold. Stover CT2 cylinder head.HAS 2 CRACKS SEE PHOTOS.Can be brazed or JB weld.This head did not leak from the engine before it was rebuilt. I had another head so I used that. The exhaust valve has an oversized valve stem thickness and a heavy spring that is not original but worked fine.You would need to get an intake valve and spring and retainer. Stover part#6CT2. Both valve seats good condition.

this has been on display for several years in the Scrapologist Museum. And now has been replaced with a new purchase. Stover Duro gas antique engine with Wico magneto. The Duro's with the magneto are quite few and far between. Turns over with good compression, weak spark, service needed. I did test the coils and the condenser. Both tested good) nothing broken or repaired. When it was apart the fuel pipe was found it the bottom the the tank. This is what took it out of service. Many of these were used as pump engines, I have also heard that some were sold to National sewing machine to run their equipment. I am sure there were many other uses. No broken fins. No I have not run this engine. it ruins the paint. I will plywood crate it. I will Use Fastenal. They only ship terminal to terminal. Early, double tagged Stover model Y gas engine which I believe to be all original and made in 1916. Old Spokes starts easy and run great. This is a low hour engine and has very few if any wrench marks, it also has the rarely seen speed controller. Crank guard, a nice essex oiler and a good Webster tri polar mag. The only things wrong with this gem is a repaired front cart wheel. A chip on the rim of a rear cart wheel, not sure who made the cart but it is old) and I believe somewhere along the line someone has put a taper on the pulley side of the crank shaft. Pretty much untouched. Other than a 20 year old paint job and a mag tune up. Hit miss Stover CT 2 - 2 1/2 HP engine
This is a Stover CT 2 to 2 1/2 HP gas engine. Was housed in cement mixer and is in excellent condition. You can see the original paint that is still on the engine. The original owner had painted the engine orange and I removed most of it. Some of the original pin striping is still there as you can see in the photos. Good compression. I have not run the engine but everything seems to work. Pick up only. Paypal or cash or certified check on pickup.
