New old stock, Lunkenheimer#5 Paragon oiler for a hit and miss gas engine. It ... morehas been laying around for decades and has never even had oil in it! It is in perfect condition as can be expected. It measures about 3 1/4 inches in diameter and 7 3/4 inches tall. It has 1/2 inch pipe threads to mount it and they are in great shape. Everything works as it should and it is ready to go to work. It has the original check ball and vent tube in it and was built for the cylinder of an gas engine. The only blemish I noted is that art of the bottom wasn't machined after it was casted. This will not be seen when the oiler is on an engine or in your brass lineup. NOS oilers of any kind don't turn up very often especially a high quality one as a Paragon so don't miss your chance on it. The pictures tell the story. You won't be disappointed in any way. Here is a# 3 Lunkenheimer Banner Oiler. On the side of the oiler it reads Banner The Lunkenheimer Co. Cin. O. and has the# 3 on the connecting hex at the bottom. Overall height is 8 3/4" and it has 1/2" connecting threads that are in good shape. The 2 glass pieces have no cracks in them that I see. I did clean the old oil off that was on the outside. And it has a very nice looking brown patina. Nice looking oiler. Please check out my other auctions on now and in the next few weeks, I do combine shipping and pack well. Here is a very nice early brass oiler marked LUNKENHEIMER No 3 FIG. 1301 PARAGON. The cap that slides to fill the oiler has the Pat. date of Apr. 13 1926. These ball check oilers were the top of the line and are still used often o n hit and miss engines. The oiler is in nice as is condition with minor wrench marks and ball check is free. The brass top was partly cleaned at one time and is in great shape with good markings stamped in it. This would clean up well for use on a hit miss/ steam engine or display. SELLING WITH NO RESERVE!

A Lunkenheimer No. 6 Fig. 1300 Sentinel oiler along with a Pilgrim oiler. The Lunkenheimer oiler is approximately 8" in length. The Lunkenheimer oiler has a chip on the edge of the glass cylinder(as shown in the 5th attached image) and the two rubber gaskets are torn and tattered. Otherwise. It's in good condition showing moderate wear. The Pilgrim oiler is just a fragment and is included for its remaining parts. Powell Twin Signal Machine Oiler Lunkenheimer Fairbanks Morse Essex Hit And Miss
Up for bid is a Powell Twin/Double Signal machine oiler. The oilers are nickel plated and mounted on a cast iron lid. The inside of each oiler is stamped 3-0-1054 PURITAN. The lid has numbers cast in that appear to read 2009 with 1 over 2 in smaller script. One of the oilers has a broken glass. Both have scratches and worn plating.
