You are bidding on a crank cover. With a hinge, p/n WA125B, which I believe fits a Lauson 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 HP stationary"hit and miss" engine. Looks intact. From what I've read if you open this while the engine was running something would interfere leading to the destruction of the cover, or engine, or both- so I would imagine these parts were removed shortly after the engines were installed. Probably a good idea to leave it off but keep it just to say you have a complete engine. Items shown in pictures are what you will receive. Here's a Champion J-8 spark plug reconditioned by Cost Less Spark Plug Co. This is an early 2-rib plug with 14mm threads that was"guaranteed" by C.L. for 10.000 miles in auto applications which equals a lot of idle show time for Briggs model N or WMB, Lauson and many other small engines for which this is the oem plug. The box has some writing on one side and it has a little piece of the specification chart stuck to it on that same side, otherwise it displays very nicely as pictured. This is a real nice original exhaust rocker arm for a John Lauson or Alpha Model W hit and miss gas engine. It is in perfect condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It measures about 6 5/8 inches long and about 1 1/8 inches thick. I believe it is for a 2 1/2 hp engine but measure your engine to be sure. vintage Lauson LMC gas engine antique old motor
For auction is an old Lauson LMC engine. It has fire and compression and when I primed it it fired off. The rope pulley is broken(I have one off a Clinton that I think you could make work that I will include) The tag is missing. The engine was repainted at some point and they just painted over the top of the dirt and grease. When I had the shroud off to clean the points I cleaned the shroud to make sure it was not all rust pitted and it seems to be good. A nice small engine to clean up and restore. Up for sale is a rare Tillotson MT2B carburetor. This is a salvage carburetor. I do not know the history of it or what it came off of. Or why it was removed. This fits Lauson engines, according to an old spec sheet. You get a complete. Salvage carburetor. This is as original and complete as you will need. Nothing broken, nothing worn, nothing a little love can't get running again. I know it is old. And that it is complete. It has no visible defects beyond dirt and a little rust. De Laval Alpha VW piston and connecting rod lauson stationary engine
Piston and connecting rod for a De Laval model VW stationary engine made by lauson. This engine had moisture in the crabkcase that caused pitting to the internals, the wrist pin is free but stiff and the rod has pitting, the condition of the bearing is very nice no scoring. rings are free, no oil ring. the piston itself is fine, functional item but i wanted to note the pitting on the rod.

Old Original John Lauson Hit Miss Gas Engine Ammeter Steam Tractor Magneto WOW
This is a very rare original John Lauson ammeter. It is from the same John Lauson Company in New Holstein. WI, that built the Frost King hit and miss gasoline engines. They were used to test the strength of the batteries that were being used to run the engines. It is in great condition considering it's over 100 years old and I see no reason why it wouldn't work. It has the original cloth covered wire on it which is a bit tattered but it will work the way it is. It measures about 2 1/8 inches in diameter and the only thing I see wrong with it is the glass is missing. I'm sure this would be available rather inexpensively at a local clock or watch repair shop. This would be a great addition to your early agricultural memorabilia collection or would really look nice displayed with your John Lauson engine at the shows! 3 Small Engine Carburetors - Tillotson - Lauson - Dekni
Carburetors Tillotson HL93A- Lauson Diaphragm- Dekni PZ19mm I've had these carburetors for awhile and I have never found a use for them. The Lauson& Dekni carbs are new and never been used. The Tillotson carb is used and is the factory installed carb for a McCulloch MC-5 go kart racing engine. I did rebuild the Tillotson carb with a D&G kit. But did not get it working properly cause it's made for smaller 50- 70 cc engines. Lauson carb has no choke& the gas inlet is in a strange place making it hard to install an air cleaner and fuel line. The Dekni is most likely made in china and is 19mm in size. I bought this at a tractor show many years ago for my sears suburban hh 100 tractor. The guy said it came off a wheel horse tractor but I can't remember what size engine this is for 8 or 10 hp? It seems to have the same bolt pattern as my hh100. I never used it but I have taken it apart and it all appears to be there and looks like it has a fresh rebuild. The bowl on bottom is dented so I am including another carb I had laying around that appears to have the same size bowl. These are both untested carbs! Please look at pictures for detail. Sumter Magneto NO. 16 Hit Miss Gas Engine Fairbanks Fuller Lauson HAS SPARK
I have for you r condideration a RARE SUMTER MAGNETO NO. 16. This was used on several different applications of gas engines. This particular one can from a Fuller& Johnson Model N with 25 teeth on the gear. This mag with the various bases that can be bought via the aftermarket world can be used on many engnies. To name a few Fairbanks& Morse. Fuller& Johnson, Lauson and many more. The Magneto is HOT and throws a spark. I can say a little charge would not hurt it. The base is in poor condition, and will need a new base purchased for it. The holes measure 2" on center. The serial# 381080 are stamped in the pot metal base. The bake a lite leadout tower is in nice conditon for it's age and has no decay on it, proving it has never been left to the elements. Vintage Power Products Tecumseh Lauson Go Kart Mini Bike Engine 2 Cycle Stroke I believe it was in the early 1960s when Tecumseh. Lauson and Power Products became one company. This engine has all three names on it but I could not find a model number. It was probably on a decal, now gone. 2 stroke. Untested but engine does spin over with good compression. The shaft is 5/8" diameter and 2-1/4" long. See my other engine auctions. I will be listing several antique engines over the next several weeks. See photos in super size for condition.
