Brand new pulley to fit the model 92 series Maytag gas engines. This pulley will fit any of the 92 series engines. Your engine might say 92, 31, 92M, 11-111 ect. As long as your engine is the single cylinder engine with a kick pedal on it this will fit. If you want to double check, the hub on your flywheel should measure 1.25 inches. This is a premium Made in the USA part made right here in our shop. Die formed and stamped with a quality aluminum hub made from higher grade aluminum than the original this pulley should out last the original for sure. Riveted together and complete with the period correct square headed set screw this is ready to put on your engine! This is the cast iron part that mounts the flywheel to the crank shaft and the pulley goes on it. These are nice original parts. Bead blasted and checked for wear and damage. No cracks, breaks, welds or other repairs. Many engines that are hard to start or wont start have cracks in the coupling disc. That lets the key way sit off just a little bit and then gets your engine out of time. Replace them and your engine will work much better. I'm selling my maytag 92 engine. It has been TOTALLY restored. It's been completely dismantled. Sand blasted and painted. Put back together with new rings, cylinder honed, crank bearings, and new rod. It also has new plug and wire and the rubber in the wire holder is new. Reconditioned points new condenser. Rebuild carb. And a brass bolt kit, new decals, new model plate, brass pull and plug grounder( not sure its called that but you know what I mean) It's also been mounted on some wood. It runs great. Up for your consideration is a 1930's Maytag(gyrating) wringer washing machine. Model 8510. Not only is this a great piece to look at. It still works. The inside has no broken fins or cracks. When plugged in the motor"purrs" it does however need a new belt- the pulley turns when motor is running. These items are only gaining in value. Maytag 72 Twin Gas Engine, 2 Maytag Champion Plugs, Eisemann Boots Hit & Miss
This is a Maytag two stroke-cycle twin cylinder gasoline engine that originally powered a Maytag wringer washing machine in 1946. The owner probably got rural power soon after that and electrified his wife's washing machine and saved this cute little engine inside somewhere. This fine original engine turns over and has compression but I never tried to make it run. It originally hung from the bottom of the washing machine. Someone made the crude wood enclosure it is still in in order to make it run and possibly use if for some chore on the farm. I bought this engine and muffler for $40 at an antique shop just east of Lewistown Montana back in 1976. I remember driving my 1975 Corvette convertible at that time and had quite a time figuring out how to haul this engine home in that car. I knew I just had to have it because it came with the ... moreoriginal muffler and even had both of the original Maytag script Champion spark plugs in it as well as both of the original Eisemann rubber spark plug boots intact. Both of the decals are original and are still quite nice considering that they are almost 70 years old. Original Maytag Battery Coil Upright Multi-Motor Hit & Miss Gas Engine Project !
This is a Maytag Battery- Coil Upright Multi-Motor 2 Cycle Gas Engine. From An Early Gas Powered Model 43 Wood Washer From About 1916- 1921. This is In Need Of A full Restoration.Or to Use For Parts. The Engine Is Clean& will Be Easy To Get Appart. This Still Has All Of the Original Crown Headed Bolts. The Cylinder Jug Is Nice But The Top Fin Is Broken As Can Be Seen In the Pictures, Bore looks Good As does The Piston, But Will Need Rings, Seems to fit the cylinder nice! The original Governor is missing. But I Have A one-piece Governor Arm That I am Including, As well As A useable commutator, the Main Bearing Has One Ear That Will Need repaired, as well as One of the mounting Feet, I Am Also Including A piece from Another engine That Can Be used to Fix it, I have fixed A couple in the Past This Way& It works good. This is The More ... morecommon Style Upright With A"Rib" In The Middle of the crank case. the Carburetor Mounted on the Side Of the Crank case, Not On The Main Bearing. This Engine Has A pretty Nice Flywheel But Does Not Have A Serial Number Stamped on it! Many Upright Engines Do Not Have A serial Number On Them OR They Are Old& Rusty Enough that They are not there. Or extremely Hard to read. I can't seem to find one on this Engine. This looks to Have A pretty Good E- Type Carb. That Will need the choke cap, But Otherwise looks Complete. Any Of The Parts Missing On this Engine Are Available Right Here on E-Bay From A few of the Vendors That Make Parts, This Is A good Engine For Someone That Is looking to Restore An Upright Maytag. Old Johnson Utilimotor Hit Miss Gas Engine Briggs Stratton Maytag Steam Tractor
This is a real nice older restoration Johnson Utilimotor. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs that I can find or know of. It turns over nicely with excellent compression. It has great spark and should be ready to run. It has a real nice Briggs and Stratton muffler on it. It also has a v belt pulley so you can run different belt driven items. These Johnson's are getting tougher to find every day so if you've been looking for one here's your chance. This one is mounted on a neat little skid with a throttle control and would be a neat addition to your air cooled engine lineup at the shows. All of the hard work is done on this one.
