What i have up for auction here is a Billy Boy hit an miss engine machined from scratch by Mr. Bill Burnett! This is really a super neat engine that has always ran like a top for me! It can run on Coleman liquid fuel or straight pump gas. But I've only run it on premix(and propane twice, for indoors) just for the sake of preserving the engine. It is a little dusty from sitting, but I will clean it before the auction ends. I hope to have a video of it running soon so you can see just how great this little thing runs! It has a few scuffs and imperfections, but nothing that affects the mechanical aspects of this little engine. The fuel screw in the carb has a broken top, but this doesn't affect the engine either. Here is the kick pedal from a model 19 Maytag(serial number 801627) There were only 8000 of these pedals made by the Maytag company. I don't need to say how very rare they are! They are not the same as the twin cylinder offset pedals. K-W “CU” Ignition coil - Model T “BUZZ” - Marine – Boat- Hit Miss-Hay Press
This is a working K-W"CU" BUZZ coil with a brass cover over the points and original hardware. It also has a 7- 1/8” mounting bracket on the back side(6 1/2" C-C) I think it may have been for marine engine or a harsh environment use(boat. Buzz saw, baler. Hay press, dusty/damp conditions) with the protective cover over the points. It has the 3 connections for battery +, and spark on the front side for easy access. The K-W“CU” decal is still quite good. The points are nice and clean and when the coil is connected to a 6 or 12 volt battery the coil produces a nice buzz and spark with a spark plug. Overall, this is in real nice condition. 1935 John Deere 1 1/2 Horse Hit and Miss Model E Gas Engine
Up for auction here is a John Deere 1 1/2 horse Model E hit and miss gas engine. The serial number tag on this engine is brass and the number is 331154 making this a 1935 engine. There are no cracks breaks or welds that I can find and the engine does run. Both the igniter and magneto have been rebuilt by a company called Mainely Magnetos out of Cross Lake. Maine. Description: Selling a Maytag model 92 in good. Un-restored condition. I bought this at an auction 15 years ago for my grandfather as he enjoys them. He is thinning his maytag flock a little now. Serial Number 563060 means it was made in May 1934. He had it running great about 5 years ago. Since I knew I would likely be shipping it. I did not want to fill the tank up with fuel. I squirted a little fuel in the carburetor throat and it fired easily. Here is a video of it running: Excuse the smoke. I mixed the oil a little heavy since it hadn't been started in a while. Condition: Missing air filter. But otherwise looks complete. I did notice the spark plug wire said Packard on it. PAUL BREISCH MODEL HIT AND MISS ENGINE. Looks to be maybe 35 or 40 years old. I bought this engine about 2 weeks ago with plans to run and enjoy it. But have since acquired the engine I have always wanted- an Aermotor 8 cycle, so this one has to go. It looks like it has been run recently, as there is oil in the glass oiler, and grease in the bearing cups, but I have not run it. It turns over easily and has compression. It is also getting fire to the plug. I gave it a few spins but did not get it started. I have no idea what the carb screw should be set at for starting, and it looks like there is some kind of spark advance on the points that will need to be set right for starting. The seller told me that he has seen it run, and I believe it will run, if you can figure out the settings. It has a small generator that runs off the engine, and ... morea small light post that runs off of the generator. I have an extra plug and 2 extra bulbs with it. Also an extra belt for the generator. The engine itself is about 15" long and 6" wide. The flywheels are 6" or maybe a little more in diameter. The board it is mounted on is about 23" by 11" The underneath side of the board is grooved for the wires and has a kind of fabric coating over it. Old Original Voltamp Dynamo Generator Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam Toy Model NICE!!
This is a fantastic original Voltamp dynamo or generator. It could also be used as an electric motor. It is in excellent orignal condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. The base measures about 4 3/4 x 5 1/4 inches and the unit is about 3 3/4 inchs tall overall. It turns freely with little wear in the bearings. I have not tried to run it but see absolutely no reason why it wouldn't run. It has a belt pulley on one end of the shaft. It would be a very eye catching addition to your dynamo or generator collection and it would be even more unique if you were running it in a display with a small hit and miss gas or steam engine model. I just bought 21 old gas engines at an Estate Sale. Researching the B&S model PB engine I ran across. E-bay listing# 230972213719. It appears that in the box of parts I got for the PB engine was the hand crank for a Moto Mower. I cannot say for sure that is what I have but maybe you can figure it out. The diameter of the round stock is about.570. The part where you would put your hand is about 4" long. The next long part is about 6 1/2" long. The little offset about 1 1/4" long. Looks like it would wrap around a Diameter of something like 5/8" to around 3/4" You are buying the hand crank only as pictured. Up for bids is this nice antique Maytag engine. It looks to be a model 11. This engine was purchased out of the estate of a man who had several old engines and tractors. All of them were in nice condition. I was told by an heir that all of his engines had been restored several years ago and that he enjoyed showing them at various shows in his retirement. This engine looks to be in great condition. I have not run it myself so I can only take the word of the owner's son and the condition it appears to be in. There is no damage to the cast iron. Old Ford Model F T Car Truck Carburetor Holley NH Hit Miss Gas Engine Tractor
This is a very rare Ford Model F carburetor for a Model T car or truck. These were built by Ford before Henry commissioned Holley to build the NH model in it's place. I believe the Holley NH parts are interchangeable with this carburetor. This one is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has the original name tag and brass fuel line elbow on it. It seems to have been rebuilt and everything feels like it is new again. There is no wear on either of the shafts. It has a 1 5/16 inch intake and a 1 1/16 opening into the manifold. It mounts with two holes 2 1/8 inches apart on center. I believe it is ready to be used on a car or truck. I've seen alot of Model T parts before but I've never seen another Model F carburetor so if you'd like something different here it is. This is an original cast iron sediment bulb for a Ford Model T car. Truck, or Fordson tractor. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It is complete with the brass drain valve at the bottom. The shut off valve is stuck but I'm sure with a little heat it would come loose. The threads for the fuel line and the the fuel tank are both in great shape. These cast iron originals are very hard to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one to finish a project or just for a spare on the shelf, here it is. The pictures tell the story. This is a pretty nice original fuel tank for a Ford Model T car. I believe it was used from 1913-1920. It is in pretty good condition for it's age but does have a few dents that could removed fairly easily. It has has a dent by the filler hold that needs to be removed and the fitting resoldered. It measures about 10 1/2 inches in diameter and about 28 inches long. It has the all brass sediment bulb on the bottom of it. It came for the estate of an early car collector and hasn't seen the light of day in many years. It would be a great way to complete your restoration project! Reproductions like these complete with the brass bulb are about $220. These originals don't turn up very often and they look so much better than the reproductions so if you need one don't miss this one. It will likely be a long time before another one ... moreturns up! RESTORED 1946 Maytag Gas Engine Motor Model 72 Hit Miss Wringer Washer

Maytag Wringer Washer& Gas engine decal in water transfer. Painted with automotive enamel paint. Up for bid is a very nice Maytag Model 72Antique hit miss Gas Engine. The flywheel has serial# 1014248 stamped on it so it was made in 1946. This engine has a new coil and works good. The skids you see under my motors go with the engine. I have shipped to Canada and the United Kingdom. I have been restoring these engines for ten years now. Last year I restored and sold 23 Maytag engines on and off ebay. I had taken several pictures of my work so you can ... moresee what wonderful work I do and I am not a fly by night back yard restorer. I also restore Maytag wringer washers and put Maytag motor's on them as well. This engine was completely taken apart and SAND blasted and BEAD blasted clean and painted. I take a lot of pride in these motors as you can see. Lot of guys like to copy my work so I have a trade mark that I can only tell that it is one that I had done. I do not use any junk parts on my motors. As you can see this engine is complete and not missing any parts. It has new rings. Condenser and spark plug and plug wire with new ends. I also honed out the Cylinder jug. This engine has been restored and freshly painted and the fuel tank and top plate was sealed so it will not rust again. I do not paint the flywheels like some people I just polish them up nice. After putting it all back together I ran several tanks of fuel through it and it runs just fine. Then I put on a set of real nice WATER TRANSFER DECAL that I make and sell NOT those NASTY sticky fly by night cheap decals. The coil is good and has hot nice spark.
