LB OR LA INTERNATIONAL ENGINE HEAD WITH VALVES & INTAKE BUTTERFLY
Nice running little two cycle Starts easy. Spec: are 2 1/4" bore 2" stroke Compression 55 PSI. 16" L X 4 1/2" w. weight about 55 lbs with out crate. I takes a 6volt Battery for ignition. A very unique st up for ignition. The points activate by a offset cam detent spring loaded, very much like a gun trigger. Timing can be change with moving the ignition housing. I cannot find any Mfg maks to identify the coil or engine. The carb was missing when I bought it.I adapted a Tillotson AJ 16 A 2 cycle carb& work excelent.It has a great idle& does excelerate well. My HP.guess woud be 2 hp. There is a metal part with a slide rod set collar but have no idea what that was used for. Buyer pays shipping& your buying as is with no return of auction item.

International Harvestor LA 1.5-2.5 HP Jeager Water Pump Neat HitMiss Gas Engine
I have for your consideration an International Harvestor 1 1/2-2 1/2 HP model LA with a Jeager Pump. The Serial# is 45622. I have got the engine to pop a few times by shooting gas at it. So with that being said the mag is HOT. The only thing missing from the engine is the muffler and valve cover. I have a good factory fuel tank that is not pictured. That will go with the engine. The engine has some compression and with oil and some run time it will be really strong in no time. I see no C/B/W's on the engine. The Jeager Pump is all complete and appears to be set up from sitting. It has old braze repairs on the pump arm. The repairs look to be very well done. The only other thing to mention is the one iron has been cut from the mounting bracket to mount the engine to the pump SEE PIC. The could be easily welded in 5 minutes time. I could ... morenot imagine the cool factor of this display running at a local show. People love to see engines working. Get a nice plastic tub and some food coloring and pump blue water at the shows and attract the crowd. Just think you can hardly buy most engines for this price. This would be one cool project. I am listing this as local pick-up. BUT I WILL SHIP THIS ITEM. I have use Fastenal and have had great success. Delivery to any show I attend is always free. The connecting rod has"27196-D" cast in raised letters. Also has the IHC logo. No cracks. Breaks. Very good Babbitt. The wrist pin seems nice and tight. Not all beat up. Overall a good usable connecting rod and piston. The piston is 3.7 inches long. The diameter of the piston is 3.120 inches and the wrist pin is 3/4 inch in diameter. Original International Harvester LA LB Hit Miss Gas Engine Cast Iron Belt Pulley
This is a real nice original cast iron pulley for an International Harvester LA or LB gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It measures 6 inches in diameter with a 5 inch face. It fits on a 1 3/16 inch diameter crankshaft and will fit both the 1 1/2/ 2 1/2hp and 3/ 5 hp models. It is part number 3592-D. These original pulleys are quite tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets! If you've been looking for one to complete a restoration here's your chance. As is- not tested International H1 magneto. 19 tooth gear Appears to have the platinum alloy contact points. Both side of the contacts have no metal transfer as you get using tungsten contacts, never file platinum alloy contacts- just clean them up.

International Harvester Original IHC LA LB Hit Miss Gas Engine Magneto H1 3-5 HP
Here is a nice magneto for an LA/LB IHC gas engine. The model on case housing is 8551DX! The mag can be used on any size engine. But the gear is probably for the larger size engine(3-5 HP) 3 1/4" diameter. You can switch out drive gear for conversion to smaller HP engines magneto if needed! If you have a bad mag or your mag is missing- this is a nice original mag. Try to remember that these magnetos are also close to 60 years old or more and I try to select the nicer ones! From the start the mag was completely disassembled/ glass bead blasted/ inspected and cleaned. Then clear coated with high temp paint, then base is painted with IH red prior to assembly and baked@ 250 degrees for 40 minutes for durability while completely apart! Then parts in the mag are replaced as needed. The mag impulse was removed and inspected/ cleaned/ lubed(snaps ... morenice) Front and rear bearings cleaned and repacked with high quality grease. Magnet and ignition coil is very strong! The mag has nice points, nice IHC logo coil cover. When I finished the rebuild, I tested the mag and ran it on a tester. It had a real nice hot blue spark. Its is ready for work or play! The mag in the picture is the one you will receive and I do not reuse pictures! Nothing broken. Welded, repaired or in need of repair. Please see the pictures!

Original International Harvester 3/5hp LA Hit Miss Gas Engine Valve Cover NICE!
This is a VERY hard to find original valve cover for a 3 to 5 horsepower International Harvester LA engine. It should also work on an LB engine but it has the original swinging door to manually oil the rocker arm shaft so it was factory equipment on an LA engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. The swinging tab moves as it should. This valve cover has a 2 3/4 inch step in it for the head so please measure your engine to be sure it fits your application. These valve covers are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so don't miss your chance on it. It would even make a great spare on the shelf. The pictures tell the story. IHC LA VALVE COVER International Harvester Hit and Miss Gas Engine
Here is a nice original steel valve cover for a IHC LA engine. I am not sure if this is for the 1-1/2hp to 2-1/2hp of the 3hp to 5hp. Please check out the pictures and measurements to be sure its right for your engine. There appears to be a very small amount of epoxy on the inside(see pictures) I think it might have been used to repair a small hole. This is hard item to find. Original For and LA will not fit and LB I'm not sure what size of engine it is for 5-1/2" wide. 6-1/2" tall Epoxy might have been used to fill a small hole. If you pick this part up at my house 7.25% sales tax will be added to the purchase price. If it is shipped or delivered out of state then there will be no sales tax. This auction is for a nice original International Harvester LA gas engine governor. I believe this will fit the 1 1/2-2 1/2. And the 3-5 HP engines. It has the part number of 3567-DA on it. It is in very nice condition with its teeth still very square and not razored and no cracks or repairs. Please see pictures and ask questions if you have them. Payment will be made by paypal.
