Original WICO EK magneto I just picked up. Tested it on the bench and it sparked every time. All brass covers with stop button. Looks very clean around the bottom and was never rusty. Threaded mounting holes are perfect. Lead out tower looks brand new. Has the normal little dents and dings on the covers you would expect to see but other than that looks like a real nice magneto. Old WICO PR model High Tension Magneto No. 14419.Has a brass cover case. Mostly used on old stationary single cylinder engines. I operated this unit and found it does make a spark to the brass case that I can easily see in daylight. Probably a carefull cleaning of the points and a lube of the moving aramature would boost the spark. It does show that the coil and the condenser is good and the magnet is charged. WICO Magneto Mod X Wisconsin V4 4 Cylinder Gas Engine
This WICO 4 cylinder magneto is stamped Wico Model X Spec. XH1343. It gives off a nice blue spark on all 4 cylinders. The 24 slanted tooth gear is 2-3/4" on center. It turns clockwise. 2 lead out towers are broken on the top but a wire can still be inserted in the brass holder. There are no other cracks or breaks. The cap is not cracked. The mag fits into a 3-1/4" hole. The mounting bolts are 4-1/4" on center holes. I think this is a usable mag. It has a kill or stop button on the side. This bracket fits into a block hole that is 1-1/2" diameter. The mounting bolt holes are 2-1/2" on center. The bracket casting no. Is T 83(I think) The T is not real clear. Between the mag mount and the spark plug mounting flange it has been brazed welded. It is a very good job and not notable. There are no other breaks or welds. The spark plug threads look good. You are bidding on a hard to find. Model PR Wico magneto. These mags work great, better than an EK in my opinion. This one is in very nice shape, and has good spark. The lead out tower is pretty bad, but I'm including a brand new one in the sale. The only thing this mag is missing is the front cover and I'm almost sure you can buy them new from a number of suppliers. The coils look like NEW, they very well could be, it looks like this mag has been gone through in recent year, and it appears like they did a great job, I believe the man I bought it from said he sent it out and had it rebuilt, but I can't guarantee that. Has a very nice original nameplate, that's nice and crisp, not faded or beat up at all. If you need a PR, don't pass it up, these are few and far between! Feel free to ask questions! This is an original wico ek magneto BRACKET and TRIP FINGER. I think they came off of a type 2 MASSEY HARRIS engine. Trip finger will work on other engines. Nothing special but should be some usable parts there. I can see some braze on the back of trip finger bracket but everything is covered with heavy grease. I believe it may also fit the solid flywheel de laval engines. Please do your research to be sure. It is in great shape and seems pretty complete. Wico model C magneto hit miss stationary engine steam engine
This is a nice old wico model c magneto type 19D. Turns over nice. Has inpules and will make a nice spark. It is dirty and in original condition. There is something black that had dripped onto the top of it at one time, there is some masking tape residue stuck to the side of it, and the terminal in the side of it is loose and wiggles in the case. these are the only flaws I see, but please look at the pictures. Clicks when turning by hand if that means something( hard to make it click turning by hand) Weathered on outside, pretty clean looking on inside. Don't know a lot about magnetos except they will drive you crazy when they don't work right. T his might also work on several other of the walk behinds. Might clean it up. Replace points and get it to work or have spare parts or have a spare magneto. This has dirt, grease pealing paint on outside but inside is pretty clean. WICO EK MAGNETO MOUNTING BRACKET WITH TRIP FOR VINTAGE MAKE/BRAKE MOTORS
Used part in good condition. Mounting bracket with holes to fit a WICO EK Magneto and(2) base mounting bolt holes(see picture) Cocking/trip lever pivots on integral shaft with a nice fit and an installed oil cup. It also has a catch and release mechanism for the cocking/trip linkage on motor(see pictures) I don't know which engine manufacturer(s) used this mounting/actuator assembly but I do know it fits a WICO EK linear magneto used on the old stationary make and brake engines. It weighs a little under 2 1/2 pounds. Thank you.
