Antique Stover vertical three hp 1902/1904 hit and miss engine. very rare
Very old Stover vertical hit and miss engine. No serial number found but dates to the early 1900's. Because many original parts were missing a man converted it to a propane vertical side shaft engine and it runs well. Could be converted back to original if parts were found or made. It is on a nice old cart that goes with the engine. Battery. coil and propane tank are included. Shipping would be up to the buyer and it can be stored inside as long as it is paid for when sold. NO PAYPAL on this engine and a personal check or postal money orders are fine. Questions are welcome also. Hit miss engine Stover CT2 cylinder head,cracked
Stover CT2 cylinder head.HAS 2 CRACKS SEE PHOTOS.Can be brazed or JB weld.This head did not leak from the engine before it was rebuilt. I had another head so I used that. The exhaust valve has an oversized valve stem thickness and a heavy spring that is not original but worked fine.You would need to get an intake valve and spring and retainer. Stover part#6CT2. Both valve seats good condition.

Stover Duro antique stationary gas engine with rare Wico magneto. teens-1920s
this has been on display for several years in the Scrapologist Museum. And now has been replaced with a new purchase. Stover Duro gas antique engine with Wico magneto. The Duro's with the magneto are quite few and far between. Turns over with good compression, weak spark, service needed. I did test the coils and the condenser. Both tested good) nothing broken or repaired. When it was apart the fuel pipe was found it the bottom the the tank. This is what took it out of service. Many of these were used as pump engines, I have also heard that some were sold to National sewing machine to run their equipment. I am sure there were many other uses. No broken fins. No I have not run this engine. it ruins the paint. I will plywood crate it. I will Use Fastenal. They only ship terminal to terminal. This is a Cast Iron Heat Vent. It is in 3 pieces and the one piece rotates to open and close vents on the outer band. Perhaps the open center was the air intake and the outer band was the heat output. Overall size is 15-3/4 inch. Rotating band is 13 inches across and 2-5/8 inch wide, center piece is 8 inches across. 1968 Bob Dole US Senate Campaign Autograph Letter Russell Stover Kansas!
Up for auction today is a cool original 1968 primary campaign Thank You letter from US Senator Bob Dole. The letter was sent September 12. 1968 to Mrs. Russell Stover, Mission Hills, Kansas, for her help with the campaign. Clara Stover and her husband Russell were owners of the well known Russell Stovers Candy Company. This letter is on Dole's official campaign letterhead, which includes an image of Dole. It is signed or autographed, and I believe the autograph to be authentic- there is no Certificate of Authenticity or COA- be your own judge by looking at my close up pictures and scans of the signature. The letter measures approx. 8 1/2" x 11" It has 2 light fold creases from its original mailing, as well as other light edge/corner wear and light corner and edge creases possible. There is also some light age discoloration or ... moreyellowing, and a light brown age spot on the lower left corner. Bill Holman Smokey Stover Original 1962. Doctor Cartoon, Medical Humor Puns, signed This is an original“Smokey Stover” drawing/paste up/camera ready piece of artwork from 1962. It was bought in 1980 at the Museum of Cartoon Art in Westchester County. NY. This strip has Smokey not feeling well. He thinks he has a virus. His overhears his wife talking with the doctor about a“shot. He barricades himself in his bed. The strip is full of puns. See some of the close ups. It is 27 x 13 inches. Notation in top left corner says“April 29‘62” in blue pencil. I bought it from the museum with the understanding that this had been camera ready art to be photographed for the newspaper. This was on my wall for 30 years. We are downsizing. Still makes me laugh. The museum had matted it. It has been separated from it’s mat. The museum made some number notations ... moreon the mat. There were other pieces of artwork for sale. I have also included these pictures. They presumably were for cataloging. I will mail the artwork with the mat. You can use the mat or not as you wish. 12 8x10 Original Russell Stover Candy Estate House Photos Mission Hill, Kansas!
Up for auction today is a great lot of 12 original photographs of the Russell Stover House in Mission Hills. Kansas. Russell and Clara Stover, owners of Russell Stover Candy Company, bought the house in 1945. It is located at 5805 Mission Drive in Mission Hills. This lot consists of 9 photos of the exterior of the house, one photo of the outdoor pool, and 2 interior photos. There is only one duplicate in this lot- one in black and white and one in sepia. They are all black and white(or sepia) except one color photo. The color photo has no photographer listed- one black and white exterior shot was taken by Tyner-Murphy, Kansas City, and the rest were part of a series by Anderson Photography in Kansas City. All but 3 of the photos have been glued onto a linen backing with a paper tab on the side- probably used in an album of some type. All ... moreof the pictures measure close to 8" x 10" in size(not including the 1" wide tab attached to most of the photos) The photos are all in good to fair condition. Look closely at my pictures for an idea of the overall condition of these photos. There is general edge/corner wear and age discoloration or yellowing throughout. Including edge"bumps" here and there(I think some of them were in sleeves in a 3 ring binder at one time) In the first group picture of 4. One of them does have a corner crease(more visible in the picture of the backs of the photos than the fronts) In the second group picture, one has a spot of paper loss to the front, and two of them have staining or discoloration from being damp or wet(again, more noticeable from the back) The third group picture, there is some light paper loss to the interior shot of the billiard room, which also shows some signs of being damp or wet on the back. The color image shows some fading. Still a really cool lot of photos- a great piece of Kansas history! Check out my pictures and email any questions. Thanks for looking!

This handsome advertising tin is for Russell Stover English Caramels. The tin stands 7” tall and 3” square. It features an embossed. Slightly dimensional“Beefeater” one of the Queen’s personal uniformed guards on duty at the Tower of London against a background of the Tower. The tin also acts as a tin bank with a slot in the tin top.
