No breaks or cracks and a well cared for appearance all ... morearound. I believe they are in O Scale. I was told that they are from the late 70's to mid eighties. I am not sure so use your own judgement/knowledge as I am not an expert on model trains. The engine measures approximately 9" in length. I tested the engine for power and it did respond/had power when hitched up to a transformer. I did not attempt to run it because it has sat for many years and should be properly prepped( oiling etc. before being put back into service. The head light did not come on when I had the power hitched to it. I do not know if it was suppose to or not on this model? It has the lever for reverse in the cab area. All in all this appears to have been very well kept and would be a great addition to your collection. You get the Engine and the tender both. New York# 610204" Everything that should turn or loosen works. Not certain if any parts are missing. Selling the great old antique lubricator for parts or restoration in case anything is missing. The Coke can is 5 in tall and is included in the photos to give a feel for the size of the lubricator. The piece weighs 3.9 pounds as pictured. There is one small dent in the brass tank next to the imprint. It does not penetrate deeply and might possibly be tapped out from the inside. Old Original John Deere Centennial Token Watch Fob Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam WOW
This is a pretty scarce original keychain or watch fob type token celebrating the John Deere Centennial in 1937. It measures about 1 1/16 inches in diameter and is in good condition for it's age. It does have some heavy wear around the edges on the back side but this is just a testimonial to it's authenticity. It has a bust of John Deere on the back and the words"He Gave to the World the Steel Plow" around the edge. These original tokens are extremely tough to find in the wild and there probably isn't too many left to be found on original farmsteads! Old IHC Famous Titan Hit Miss Gas Engine Brass Camshaft Oil Cup Steam Tractor
This is an extremely hard to find original hinged lid#2 brass cup that was standard equipment on the International Harvester Famous and Titan engines to oil the cam shaft. It is in good original condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It measures about 1 1/16 inches in diameter and about 2 1/4 inches tall. It has 1/4 inch pipe threads and they are in great shape. The only faults that it has is some light wrench marks on the hex but they are not too bad. I've included a photo of the page in the IHC parts book that show this original oil cup. I believe it is factory equipment on all of the horizontal engines from 2 1/2 to 25 hp. These hardly ever turn up in the wild or even at swap meets so if you've been looking for one for an authentic restoration here's your chance. Old Lunkenheimer Mockingbird 5 Inch Fire Alarm Steam Whistle Hit Miss Gas Engine
This is a pretty nice original and VERY hard to find Lunkenheimer 5 inch fire alarm steam whistle. They are made similar to a Mockingbird but are a bit different and were used on early fire engines back in the day. It seems to be in good condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It is a rather large whistle and is about 26 inches long overall. It is marked with the Lunkenheimer name and has a 1892 patent date on the other side of the body. The slide moves freely. This whistle has 1 1/2 inch pipe threads. The dome is in great shape with only a few very minor dings. I believe this whistle could be plumbed up to steam or compressed air and used just the way it is. Both the slide and the valve have short cables attached to use it. These larger mockingbird whistles are almost impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets ... moreand really turn some heads when they are polished up and displayed at the shows! I see no way to fire this up and looks like it was made as a store display? But not sure. I took the cast-aluminum base off and inside it looks like holes were plugged. The base is solid-oak and very well made. The piston assembly looks newer than the rest of the machine as these parts show a lot of age and the piston-assembly does not. Very attractive unit. Condition: used with dings and scratches, all parts are moving freely, all finishes worn, no cracks or breaks to body, not sure if it runs but very cool as per pictures. This is a dirt blaster hot wash/drain jetter/pressure washer that I bought off gum tree without viewing it.when I went for it I immediately realised that it was far to big for my needs but a deals a deal so i paid the chap his money and brought it home it towed really well it has a good Bradley 50mm ball hitch the chassis is solid with a good axle with good brakes and good tyres all the lights work and the hand brake. The jetter itself is powered by a very good Japanese Kubota d905-e three cylinder Diesel engine that starts with the key and has a manual stop it starts easily it has a brand new battery and runs very well with no smoke it runs a hawk pump through a gear box. The pump is rated at 27lpm at 200 bar it runs through an industrial hot box to a hose reel with about 200ft of 3/8 hose I was told that the hot box fired up but is smokey ... moreand will probably need a new diesel jet which are about £15 from the local Karcher dealer or £6 off eBay and easy to put in. This governor was removed many years ago from an abandoned engine in the copper mining country in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. I have no other history. In generally good condition. It has not been cleaned or polished. By visual inspection it looks complete and shows no obvious cracked. Broken or repaired parts. Various mechanical parts including the triple ball head. Governor spring and shafts are free to rotate and move as expected. Collar under the ball head is marked REV 500. Pipe opening is ¾ inch pipe thread. Measures 17 inches tall and 10 inches wide at the widest to the drive pulley. I would estimate that with cleaning and restoration it could be returned to operating condition. This is a real steam engine built in 1884. Not a model. Was told engine was used to run a creamery in Wisconsin. Stamped"G.W.Sypher, Jan. 1884. There is also more information stamped on interior rotary valve including patent information, did not want to disassemble engine to photograph. This engine is approx. 36" long and 20" wide and estimated weight is 400 lbs.Has Stephens Link Valve Mechanism which was commonly used at this time period on locomotives and other steam engines. because of weight would recommend picking up in Naperville, Il, but could possibly crate for a fee if buyer arranges shipping. Two Horizontal Steam Engine Cylnders With Flywheel and Misc. Parts
Up for auction is two horizontal steam engin cylinders with a flywheel and other misc. parts. I beleive all items were at one point a full steam engine in it's entirety and sure a skilled indvidual can put back together and make it whole again. The two cylinders appear to be in good condition which spin left and right smoothly. The cylinders are 8 inches long and about 2.5 inches high. The cylinders are about 3/4 inches across each. This is a real nice original sales catalog from the Minneapolis Threshing Machine Company. It measures about 7 3/4 x 10 1/2 inches with 52 pages. I covers all of the big gas prairie tractors that they built and also has the smaller ones. There is a section devoted to their steam traction engines as well as their threshing machines. Plows, and accessories. It is in very good condition for being nearly a century old. It has some light soiling and wear and a few of the center pages have detached from the staples but they are all there and in good condition. Old Original Voltamp Dynamo Generator Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam Toy Model NICE!!
This is a fantastic original Voltamp dynamo or generator. It could also be used as an electric motor. It is in excellent orignal condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. The base measures about 4 3/4 x 5 1/4 inches and the unit is about 3 3/4 inchs tall overall. It turns freely with little wear in the bearings. I have not tried to run it but see absolutely no reason why it wouldn't run. It has a belt pulley on one end of the shaft. It would be a very eye catching addition to your dynamo or generator collection and it would be even more unique if you were running it in a display with a small hit and miss gas or steam engine model. This is a very rare original French sales brochure for the Fairbanks Morse Z gas engines. It measures about 3 3/4 x 6 inches and unfolds to a nice poster size of 11 1/4 x 18 inches. It is in good condition with minor wear and creasing. It has very detailed illustrations. It shows many different configurations of the engines and has specifications of the engines from 1 1/2 to 20 horsepower. This sales brochure would be a fine addition to your early engine literature collection. It would also look great framed and displayed with your Fairbanks Morse engine at the shows. I have owned many pieces of original sales literature and have seen alot more but I've never seen this particular piece. I don't think there's many left to be found out in the wild. Here is a real nice original cast iron magneto gear for an International Harvester Type M 6hp gas engine. It is part number 9879T and measures about 3 3/16 inches in diameter with a 1/2 inch face. It has a 3/8 inch hole for the magneto armature shaft and the keyway is in great shape. It has 30 teeth and they are in great shape. They have no noticeable wear at all. This gear has no cracks.
