Antique oiler Lunkenheimer No 3 Fig. 1301 Paragon Hit miss , steam engine.
Here is a very nice early brass oiler marked LUNKENHEIMER No 3 FIG. 1301 PARAGON. The cap that slides to fill the oiler has the Pat. date of Apr. 13 1926. These ball check oilers were the top of the line and are still used often o n hit and miss engines. The oiler is in nice as is condition with minor wrench marks and ball check is free. The brass top was partly cleaned at one time and is in great shape with good markings stamped in it. This would clean up well for use on a hit miss/ steam engine or display. SELLING WITH NO RESERVE!

Old IHC Type L Hit Miss Gas Engine Motor Magneto Ignitor Steam Tractor HOT!!
This is an original International Harvester Type L low tension rotary magneto for an International Harvester Type M gas engine. It was factory equipment on the 1 1/2 and 3hp M engines and it was also a optional attachment on other engines like the 1hp Famous and Titan along with the Titan Jr. It is in rough condition and may only be good for parts. The nice part about rebuilding these is that all of the parts are available from the magneto hobby suppliers. The pictures tell the story. Good Luck.

Nice Vertical Stickney Hit Miss Gas Engine Model Steam Tractor Magneto Oiler WOW
This is a real nicely done model of a vertical Stickney"Universal" hit and miss engine. It looks to have been very nicely machined and everything works as it should. It hasn't run in a couple years but has been shown in the recent past. It stands about 18 inches tall and turns over nicely with good compression and I have no doubt it will run with some fresh fuel and a battery and coil. It also needs a cylinder oiler which is available from the model hobby suppliers rather inexpensively. This is a very rare model and I don't think I've ever seen another one for sale although there probably has been. It would be a fine addition to any model collection or Stickney lineup. The music box winds by turning the pole next to the driver. All metal parts. Most of the surface looks to be coated in copper color foil. The engine measures approximately 12 inches long, and 15 1/4 inches with the front reigns extended, a little over 9 inches tall, and a bit over 3 inches wide. The reigns fold under. Shows some wear all around, scratches and dings, a few spots where the foil has flaked away. A 1/4 inch spot on top, and many tiny white spots around the top surfaces, possibly paint. This is a nice original low tension spark coil made by the National Coil Company. It measures about 2 9/16 inches in diameter and about 6 7/8 inches tall. It has been tested and puts out a spark that looks like you are welding! It has one original thumb nut on it that is marked N C Co. The other is damaged but still functions just fine. Old IHC R Type M Mogul Hit Miss Gas Engine Magneto Steam Tractor Oiler NICE HOT!
This is a real nice original International Harvester Type R rotary magneto. It was standard equipment on the 6hp Type M engines as well as the 1. 1 3/4, and 2 1/2hp Mogul engines. It was also an option on the vertical IHC Famous and Titan engines as well as the 2 1/2 and 4hp horizontal Famous engines. It could probably be made to work on other engines as well. It is in excellent original condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has the original name band on it. It has minimal wear in the bearings and turns over with great magnetic pull as I just recharged the magnets. It puts out a hot, fat, blue spark that is sure to run your engine if it is set up properly. It mounts with two holes 2 inches apart on center. The mounting threads in one hole are in perfect condition and the other one is not as good but still holds a bolt ... morejust fine. These original Type R magnetos are rather tough to find especially in this condition so if you need one for a project or just for a spare on the shelf look no further than this one. This is a very hard to find original cast iron magneto gear for a 1hp International Harvester Mogul gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind and is ready to be used on an engine. It measures 3 3/8 inches in diameter and has 32 teeth. It is original part number 1879T and even has some original Mogul green paint on it yet. These original gears are very tough to find and always look better than the steel reproductions. Here's an item you don't run across every day! It's an original cylinder head for a small Gade hit and miss gas engine. It's in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs and still has most of it's original paint on it. It fits in a 3 1/2 inch cylinder recess and has a number 3 casted into it. The valves move freely and can likely be reused. The head mounts in an irregular pattern.the top three holes are 2 7/8 inches apart on center and the bottom three holes are 3 3/4 inches apart on center. The threads for the spark plug are in great shap. If you've been looking for a head to complete a parts engine or to replace one that's broken or repaired, here's your chance. Old Splitdorf S Indian Motorcycle Magneto Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam Tractor HOT!
This is a very rare original Splitdorf Model S single cylinder magneto which was factory equipment on several Indian motorcycles and probably has other applications. It is fresh from an early motorcycle collectors estate and is in excellent condition for its age. It turns over nicely with great magnetic pull and looks to be in pretty good shape with some cosmetic dings but otherwise looks good. It has the original leadout tower on it and the points cover which are in good shape as well. It mounts with two small locating pins one of which is missing but would be very easy to replace. It could also use a new spark plug wire. This magneto is counterclockwise rotation and puts out a hot. FAT, blue spark that is sure to run your engine if it is setup properly. These original magnetos are very tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so ... moreif you need one don't pass up this one. Recently found here in Maine at a small estate sale. A unique little triple cylinder engine of some sort- I have no idea exactly what. It appears to have been powered by live steam or compressed air and provided belt power for some special purpose. Still has compression and all moving parts are free. Metal tubing connecting to middle cylinder is not complete. Fly wheel is 8" in diameter. Visually this is quite neat and with work I believe that it could be made to run again. Up for bids is an old Ashcroft air pressure gauge from Grinnell Company in Providence RI. Its untested and most likely not in working condition but again it has not been tested. It measures 4 7/8" diameter and it has original patina and wear to it. It has a glass face and an original dial. The dial does show some signs of age with some corrosion on one of the edges see pics. The air inlet in the bottom looks plugged but more than likely it could be cleaned out. It does have a face that is threaded on but I did not try to take it off to avoid damage to the gauge. This would also make a great piece for a steam engine collector or for a nice looking display. Sold is where is and again its untested and working condition is unknown. Hi. This is Don. Found this the other day. First time I've seen one up close. Two photos are before I gunked it, I removed the label worried that the gunk could wipe it out. The label seems it will clean up fine, I took my thumbnail over line six at the bottom and made it easily readable, where it looks wiped out on the left side, seems to be some old overspray, and does clean off. I think that label will clean up very well. The flat pulley is 7" dia, up to a 1 1/2" belt. When you spin the pulley it turns the shaft with the crank, when you spin the pulley the other direction, it still turns the other shaft the same way. Just because I gunked this thing, it still needs completely cleaned out inside. I have been letting it sit upside down to drain, but seems to be trapping oil in the top glass tubes. Site glass on the corner looks ... moreokay. The heavy cast pedestal looks specific for a certain machine. The pump weighs 25lbs, and the pedastal is 20lbs. I would ship without it to save cost. Old Sumter AP Hit Miss Gas Engine Motor Brass Magneto Steam Tractor Oiler HOT!!
This is a very rare original Sumter Model AP low tension rotary magneto for a hit and miss gas engine or tractor. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind except for two of the outer magnets being cracked. This could probably be repaired but doesn't affect it's function at all. It turns over very nicely with very little wear in the bearings and has excellent magnetic pull. It puts out a hot, fat, blue spark that is sure to run your engine is it is set up properly. It has a brass base and mounts on a 2 x 3 inch bolt pattern and the mounting threads are perfect. The output porcelain is also in perfect condition. It has an adjustable chain sprocket on it which isn't original but can be removed if you don't need it. These magnetos were used on several higher quality gas engines of the day including ... moreInternational Harvester, John Lauson, Fairbanks Morse, and many others. They are almost impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one for a project or restoration here's your chance. The pictures tell the story. Internal cap threads down as top is turned to force grease out. There are no manufacturer markings on the fitting. It shows some wear and some nicks, but overall is in very nice condition.

Overall height 1 5/8" Knurled top opens for lubrication port and then spring action automatically shuts top. These measure 1" across the flats. The thread is 18 TPI. The thread is tapered and measures 0.650" at the bottom. One of the fittings has the numeral"7" stamped on the side. Otherwise there are no markings. Two of the fittings have a couple of bumps on the flats, but overall, they are in very nice shape. There are three fittings in the lot.

Vintage 13 Inch Steam Whistle for Steam Tractor, Engine, Ship, or Locomotive.
You are bidding on an original vintage steam whistle made by an unknown maker that is 13 1/8 inches tall overall in good condition. Based only on appearance. I have no way to test this to verify that it is operable. And no part of this whistle was attracted to a magnet, thus it is either made of brass or perhaps bronze, and has a very nice patina, The whistle when assembled weighs over five pounds. And the outside diameter of the whistle chamber is about 3 inches, inside diameter is about 2 7/8 inches, and the chamber itself is about 6 1/8 inches tall. The Acorn style nut is about 2 5/8 inches tall. The base is about 4 inches tall, the steam pipe inlet is about 1 1/4 inches. Up for auction is an old steam engine governor made by the Pickering Co from Portland. CT. Newest patent date is 1885. Serial num 198779. 380 Rev. Measures about 29 inches long at the longest points and about 16& 1/2 inches at the widest points. It does turn with some force. 3 balls. Springs appear to be decent. One small gear has wear and is missing teeth(view pic) Brass nut shows some wear. One side of the cast wheel is bent. Other side may have a ship. These are two old postcards advertising machinery from J. I. Case Threshing Machine Co. Inc. Racine, Wisconsin. Both have the case logo with an eagle standing on a globe. One is captioned"Case Engine Doing Real Hill Climbing Stunts" and has a tractor(I think) climbing an incline as an exhibition. The other card is captioned"Case Steam Roller Building Country Roads, Price, each, $1980; on time, $2200. Neither card has been used and both are clean and crisp with no bends, creases, tears or marks.

Just found this at an estate auction. An Old Ashcroft Pressure Gauge Kit. The previous owner had Several Hit-N-Miss engines. It appears to be in Excellent Condition and complete. It also has the Ashcroft Hand Jack for removing Gauge and clock hands. The gauge measures about 3" in Diameter. The fitted case shows shelf wear and measures about 12 1/2" X 10-1/2" X 4" thick. Old Early 6hp Fairbanks Morse Z Hit Miss Gas Engine Head Steam Tractor Magneto
This is a real nice original cylinder head for an early 6hp Fairbanks Morse Z gas engine. It is the early style for the engines with an ignitor or plugoscillator ignition. It has been professionally repaired and looks great! The valves have the original springs and intake guard and are nice and tight in the guides and they have been gound. The throttle shaft is nice and tight and the water injection needle works as it should. This head mounts to the cylinder on a 5 inch square bolt pattern. There is one small repair spot by the pushrod guide that could be dressed down a bit if you'd like but I'm sure it would be fine just the way it is. I believe this head is ready to be used on an engine. These original heads for the early engines are pretty tough to find and they are usually broken badly. All of the hard and costly work has been ... moredone on this one! If you need one to replace yours or just would like a spare on the shelf they just don't get much nicer than this one. This is a real nice original fuel mixer or carburetor for a Stover hit and miss gas engine. I believe it if for a Model K engine but may fit others like the CT series as well. It mounts with two 3/8 inch holes 2 inches apart on center. The needle moves as it should. There are no cracks. Breaks, or repairs anywhere except for the screw that holds the choke door on. I'm sure this would be and easy repair with just a little patience. These mixers are rather hard to find so if you need one for a restoration or just for a spare on the shelf here's your chance. Old Antique Michigan Brass Hit Miss Gas Steam Engine Rod Oiler Tractor Magneto
This is a very rare original Michigan connecting rod oiler for an early hit and miss gas engine or steam engine. It is in excellent original condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It measures about 2 1/8 inches in diameter and about 4 1/8 inches tall overall. The glass is in perfect condition. It has 3/8 inch pipe threads which are in great shape. The Michigan name is in the top as can be seen. The only flaw that I've noted is the wrench marks on the mounting hex which shouldn't be noticed all that much when it's on an engine. One of the flats has"2 1/2" stamped into it. This is a very rare rod oiler that certainly doesn't turn up very often so if you need one for your engine restoration or to fill that hole in your brass collection don't pass it up! This is a rather tough to find original Webster magneto ignitor bracket for a Field Brundage 1 1/2hp hit and miss gas engine. It is bracket number 303M9 and is in near perfect condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It mounts with two 1/2 inch holes 3 inches apart on center. There is extremely little wear on the movable shaft. The points will last a while yet but could be replaced if you so choose. Everything works as it should on this bracket and it is ready to be used on an engine. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. The pictures tell the story. Two Vintage Men's Tie Tacks Lapel Pins Train Steam Engine and Steam Fire Wagon
Each of these pins is about 3/4" long. From the look of the backings. I believe these started out as tie tacks with the chain and bar attached, but those must have been removed to make them into lapel pins. They are burnished goldtone metal with a bit of wear/tarnish, still charming in their detail. I don't see any maker markings on them to determine the date they were made.

This is a real nice original cast iron starting crank for an Associated hit and miss gas engine. It is part letter AUM and fits on a 1 3/8 inch crankshaft. I believe it is for a Chore Boy but may fit other models as well. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind and is ready to be used to start an engine! These original cranks are pretty tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and they always make a restoration more complete. They also make starting your engine so much easier. This is an original cylinder head for the engine of a Ford 9N tractor. I believe it is also the head that was used on the 8N and the 2N tractors but you Ford N series experts will know for sure. It is part number 9N-6050B. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. The threads in the spark plug holes are in perfect condition. Superfine rare 18th century steam engine possible prototype
Rare 18th century hand made highly detailed steam engine. Fresh from a wealthy Far Hills New Jersey estate. It was covered with over 200 years of dirt. This could be a historical item.looks like a prototype. Even the screws and nuts look handmade. The detail is exact, to the smallest part. There is some great old red paint remaining. If anyone knows anything about the maker, I will post. Has 2 flywheels, one is 8" cast iron and the other is a 6" brass one. Excluding the 8" flywheel and axle, it is made almost entirely of brass. Minor defects are as follows; missing 7 out of 8 studs and nuts that hold the cover on.the good news is that all the threads for the 8 studs are good, not damaged, easy fix) and also missing are the 8 nuts for the side cover.
