Lightly cleaned to show lettering and maker marks. Solid. Glass intact, although there are several scratches in the glass. All measurements are to the best of my ability with a micrometer and old eyes. 3 and 5/8 inches long. Glass is 1 1/2 inches wide. Bottom nut is 3/4 inch. Orifice is 3/16 inch. This is an original vintage brass Lunkenheimer brass pressure relief valve. It is marked 40lbs. It is about 4 3/4 inches tall overall. It has 3/4 inch pipe threads and they are in perfect condition. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. I believe it is ready to be used on a vintage air compressor setup. This is a Lunkenheimer Pioneer oiler. It has good glass. No check ball or vent tube, the filler cover is intact, the threads are good, and the hexes are a bit rounded. It measures about 3-3/4" long, about 2" in diameter, and the pipe thread is 1/4" If this is what you've been needing, don't take a chance and pass it up! The pictures really tell the story. Swivel cap cover stamped: Pat March 15. 1887. Other stamp on arm appears to read Pat. Dec 31. 89. On the glass there is a'line' that looks like a scratch. This is a very nice oiler that is very similar to a Lunkenheimer but has no markings; maybe it is a Lunkenhiemer? I'm not an expert. I do not know for sure. Seems to be in unused condition as the cork gasket appears as good as new. Old Brass Lunkenheimer Pioneer Hit and Miss Gas Engine Steam Oiler Magneto NICE
This is a nice brass Lunkenheimer oiler. It is in good condition but needs new glass which can be obtained quite inexpensively. It has no check ball or vent tube. The filler cover is intact. Threads are good, and the hexes are nice. It measures about 3-1/8" long, about 1-1/2" in diameter and 1/4" pipe thread. If this is what you've been needing, don't take a chance and pass it up! Old Original Cast Iron Multi Feed Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam Oiler Lunkenheimer
This is an extremely hard to find original cast iron multi feed oiler for a hit and miss gas engine or steam engine or tractor. The reservoir is cast iron and this oiler is quite heavy! It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs other than a flat sight glass on one end of the reservoir and one of the sights has a coupler soldered to the bottom of it to accept a different fitting. The oiler measures about 4 inches in diameter and about 19 inches long over all. It is a nine feed oiler and all of the adjustment stems are in great shape and work as they should. I'm not sure if this is Lunkenheimer, Lonergan, American Lubricator, American Injector, Penberthy, Essex, Detroit, or otherwise but the levers on top look a lot like Lunkenheimer. This oiler has two mounting brackets on the back as can be seen. It needs a pipe ... moreplug in the top of it for the cover. I don't remember ever seeing another oiler quite like this so if you've been looking for one for a project or to fill that void in your oiler collection don't overlook this one. The first one pictured(the shiney one) is a Lunkenheimer#2 Fig.1300 it has a new upper glass 11/2" dia. and gaskets(I was rebuilding it when the inside shaft went missing) the second is a Detroit Lubricator and#5 pictured is an American Injector Co. Detroit Mich. the Glass on the end I bought new in the earlier 70's it's 2 1/4" dia. X 2 1/8" long. I'm starting the bid at the cost of the two new upper glasses with NO RESERVE so help yourself.

Up for auction is a vintage Lunkenheimer paragon engine oiled. It is in good clean shape. The glass is in great shape. And the rest of the oiler as well. There is a patent date on the top of the lid of 1902 and also on the tightening nut section at the bottom. It is jan 31st 1905 It is a model 1 1/2 paragon. This oiler has something have never seen before on an oiler. There are 654 pages, and this is the largest of the Lunkenheimer catalogs. The interior pages are crisp and clean, with no tears, stains or writing. The catalog includes hundreds and hundreds of drawings the parts that Lunkenheimer offered. If you can think of a part, it is in this catalog.
