THAT MEANT IT WAS A MACHINE USED FOR WAR PRODUCTION AND ONLY HAD THE SPEEDS OR ACCESSORIES NEEDED TO DO ONE JOB. THIS OILER IS 1 1/4 INCH IN DIAMETER AND OVERALL OF 4 INCHES. The top of the brass oiler is marked"Michigan Lubricator Co Detroit Mich" and also"48A58B" The oiler measures about 6" tall when the moveable part at the top is straight up and down and about 2&1/2" in diameter. The glass is dirty from use as you can see in the photo. But I was also trying to the beautiful ripples in the old glass, which didn't come through in the shot.
