Most of the search engine results for McRAE-ROBERTS are for Mesothelioma lawyers due to asbestos in the building! Looks to be all original with perhaps repainted wooden knobs. I'm told the company made the Eureka oilers that were used on Cretors Pop Corn engines. The last 2 pictures are copies of Robert's patents for what looks like this lubricator ... morefrom July of 1901 and then a month later the design patent for the unique shape of the body. Nice but dirty. Swift Lubricator. Elmira New York, marked on the side of the bowl piece. Probably incomplete. What is here is in pretty good condition other than being dirty. The knobs and nuts that are on this one turn. Green stuff on one side. This is about 11" top to bottom and about 7" across including the stem on the one side that should probably have a knob on it, the stem turns. The small sight glass is cracked. The first one pictured(the shiney one) is a Lunkenheimer#2 Fig.1300 it has a new upper glass 11/2" dia. and gaskets(I was rebuilding it when the inside shaft went missing) the second is a Detroit Lubricator and#5 pictured is an American Injector Co. Detroit Mich. the Glass on the end I bought new in the earlier 70's it's 2 1/4" dia. X 2 1/8" long. I'm starting the bid at the cost of the two new upper glasses with NO RESERVE so help yourself.
