Original JOHN DEERE Moldboard Disk Plow Sales Catalog Farm Hit Miss Gas Engine
This is a nice. Original sales catalog for John Deere Moldboard and Disk plows. It is from 1969 and measures about 8 1/2 x 11 inches with 52 pages. It is in good condition with minor wear and the four center pages are loose from the staples but they are there. It covers all of the plows that John Deere offered at the time including semi mount, on land, reversible in both mold board and disk types. It also shows the hydraulic reset bottom plows. It is heavily illustrated in color and shows you information features for all of the models. This would be a fine addition to your John Deere sales literature collection. The pictures tell the story. NICE 5HP MAJESTIC ON CART HIT & MISS GAS ENGINE WATERLOO JOHN DEERE L@@K!!!!!!!!
You are bidding on a very nice 5hp hit& miss Majestic engine. The engine looks to be in quite good shape. There are three negatives about the engine. One is it's missing the original carburetor, somebody has built a carb, from scratch, I'm sure it works fine. The correct carb for this would be a Lunkenheimer which can be bought new and used any day of the week for $75-$125. The other thing is the governor weights are homemade, somebody did a fabulous job making them, and I know they will work just as good, but they are homemade. The last thing is the governor yoke that holds the weights is welded in one spot. There is really nothing else wrong with the engine that I can see. The inside of the hopper is like new, no rust scale or pitting. The man I bought it from had antifreeze in the hopper, so I assume it runs, but I've never ... moretried it. Has the original ignitor and trip assembly. It it mounted on a good, heavy, well built cart with a nice handle to pull it around. Has the original nameplate, and it also has a cast brass grease cup on the rod. I believe the pulley is correct, or if it's not it will work just as good. The engine has a large straight exhaust stack on it, I'm sure it makes a nice sound when it fires. Take a look at the pictures and decide for yourself. Not an easy engine to find, and I'm sure it's not far from show ready, if it were mine, I would buy a Lunkenheimer for it though. I can store the engine here for 6 months for no charge, we are located 100 miles north of Detroit. I can also deliver it to Portland, IN and Coolspring, PA events next spring and summer for $35 gas charge. I can also secure it to a pallet and deliver to Fastenal for $35 for shipping, they are very reasonable on shipping cost. Feel free to ask questions! NO RESERVE. SO BID TO WIN!

Old JOHN DEERE Hit Miss Gas Engine Motor Magneto Body Ignitor Steam Tractor WOW
This is an original body for a John Deere or Associated hit and miss gas engine magneto. It is in used condition and has had one end repaired several years ago but it looks like a good job was done. It looks like epoxy was used and it looks like it would work great the way it is. The rest of the body is in excellent condition and shows no signs of deterioration like most of these bodies do. The mounting holes are in good shape. One has perfect threads in it and the other one has threads that aren't perfect but will hold a bolt just fine. If you have a magneto with a rotten body here's your chance at a much nicer one. I think it will make a nice magneto and once it's on the engine you'll never see the repair! Old WATERLOO GAS ENGINE CO Pump Jack Hit Miss Steam Tractor JOHN DEERE NICE!
This is a very hard to find original Waterloo Gas Engine Company belt driven pump jack. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind except for two small cracks as I've pointed out in the photos. It has most of its original green paint on it and is covered with grease just like it left the farm! Everything seems to work as it should and there doesn't seem to be much wear anywhere on it. It has the original wooden uprights and cross tie on it. This would look great powered by a hit and miss engine pumping water at the shows! Original Waterloo pump jacks like this are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets and are MUCH harder to find than the John Deere or Dain models so don't miss your chance on this one. John Deere Hit Miss Gas Engine Magneto with 1 1/2 HP Gear & Cover Nice condition
Here's a nice piece for your John Deere gas engine. This magneto and cover will fit any of the sizes 1 1/2- 3- 6 HP. But the gear is specific to the 1 1/2 HP engine. It even has the original felt oil seal behind the gear! This is a nice complete unit in good condition. The mounting holes are good and the mag turns nice and smooth. No damage or repairs anywhere on this mag that I can see! Many of these engines are missing the mag or have mags with damage. This is a good piece to fix your engine with. It should work with a cleanup and possibly a recharge of the magnets but I haven't tested it. Don't miss out on a really nice piece for your gas engine. What you see is what you get: What I believe these are is a set of master patterns for the Little John model hit and miss gas engines. That is a model made pretty much just like a 1-1/2hp John Deere E. They are all marked New Holland with a sharpie and I have no idea why. I bought these from an auction of Leroy Hoover's(Farmer Brown) engine items that was held in Pa this last summer. From what I gather Leroy had these patterns made. He made or had the models made and sold them as a running engine. If you Google"Little John Engine" I am sure you can find pictures and video's. As I stated before what you see is what it is. I do not know much about this sort of thing but will be happy to answer any questions. I have not seen another one like this and would be a great addition to a waterloo or john deere collection. Pump is loose but missing small gear and pulley. Serial number 332004 made in 1935. Very easy starter. Runs great. Has had a new gas tank and oil pan plus a magneto overhaul. All parts bought from Lightning Mag. New gaskets fitted where needed. The igniter has been repaired at some point as has the rocker holder bracket, both are really strong solid repairs that don't affect how the engines runs, they add character! Paint work is good, all details are painted not transfers. Mounted on good wooden skid. Bought this engine form an elderly gentlemen in the summer as a non runner, he is an engineer who won the engine about 35 years ago, he had run it a few times then just parked it in his workshop. It had holes in the oil pan and no spark, but in the end was a relatively easy repair and over haul. I will put in a secure crate for shipping but buyer arranges shipping. John Deere 1 1/2 Stationary Hit Miss Gas Engine Ports
This auction is for one John Deere 1 1/2 parts. Rod& Piston. Complete with rod bearing shims and rings. Timing Gear and cam, detent arm, pin and speed control knob. Main bearings and shims and governor shaft. The speed control knob is stuck on the shaft. The governor shaft has some braze on it and it appears to have repairs on the thread end. Gear looks fine with all the teeth. Shaft and weights work good. Look to pictures and ask questions if you have them. If you have any questions please ask. There will be NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING. Old JOHN DEERE E 1 1/2hp Hit Miss Gas Engine Magneto Gear Steam Tractor Oiler
This is a nice original cast iron magneto gear for a 1 1/2hp John Deere Type E hit and miss gas engine. It is part number E76R and is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. All of the teeth are like new and it almost looks like has never been used. If you need one for a restoration or just for a spare on the shelf, they don't get much nicer than this one. The pictures tell the story. The gear that you receive may not look exactly like the one in the pictures. The part number may be stamped and not raised but it is an authentic, original gear and in perfect condition like the pictured one. Antique Letz Burr Mill made for John Deere Hit and Miss or Tractor
Antique Letz Burr Mill model 111-X that was manufactured for John Deere. This is a nice original larger burr mill that appears to be in good operating condition. Turns freely and includes an extra disc. The belt appears to be original too. Really nice condition original stenciling that shows it was made by Letz for John Deere. Would look great displayed by a John Deere collector. That was my intention but I can't haul anymore items to shows. I can put it on a pallet for no charge and can quote shipping if needed. It will measure 40 x 48 x 48 on a pallet and I estimate the weight at 250# with the pallet. My zipcode is 53150 and I can load onto any vehicle. Very rare 1925 3 hp John Deere hit and miss"spark plug" engine. Serial# 243460. This is about as rare as John Deere hit and miss engines get. Only 200 were ever made. No cracks or welds. Complete overhaul and restoration. Test run only after restoration. Includes the truck and battery box which are original. High quality paint and high quality engraved beams. Includes a few special touches like grease zerks for the bearings and drain valve for the hopper. I just don't show it and it should be in the hands of a true John Deere collector. I will be happy to start and run this engine for any buyer prior to purchase. I can load this onto any truck or trailer.
