John Deere Waterloo Boy Type H Hit and Miss Engine Igniter
Up for auction here is an igniter for a Waterloo Boy Type H hit and miss engine. This came off of a 2 H.P. engine but it may fit others as well. The spring is good and the points snap back together as they should. The bracket is not cracked broken or welded anywhere and it includes the mounting bolts and spacers for the magneto. The mounting holes that bolt the igniter to the block are about 2 1/4 inches apart on center. The mounting holes that hold the magneto to the bracket are about 5 inches apart on center. There was a Wizard magneto used on this. I know that some of the Waterloo Boy Type H engines came with a Webster magneto but I do not know if it will fit this bracket.
