John Deere Dain handy farm mixer antique hit miss stationary gas engine flatbelt
I believe this is a Dain John Deere cement mixer but I am not sure? So you be the judge. It is in very good usable shape. The drum is solid and clean with no cement residue. It is not rotted. It spins very freely and appears ready to use or display. one of the riveted bracing straps has some bending but easily straightened. The last picture shows this. If paid for this can sit here as long as needed for pickup, and can load with forklift. I am willing to tie it to a pallet for easier shipping. check my other auctions for more good junk.

It shows an engine section with numbered parts and descriptions. This is an original issue and not a reproduction or reprint. The paper measures 8 1/4 x 10 inches folded. It is soft paper with some folds and wrinkles. There are no tears and the center fold is strong. There is one small hole at the very top margin. There is a penny sized stain on part of the text. This is a 404 turbo diesel out of a 7700 John Deere combine. It is basically complete. Alternator,starter,flywheel& injection pump are all included. I do not know the year of the combine or engine. Combine serial# was 315713 H& the engine# is 6404TH-01 573897RG. Hour meter on machine read 5400 hours& it did work. I do not know if anything has ever been done to the engine. It was in a combine that was not used anymore& they decided to get rid of it. I bought the engine& a decent set of 28L-26 tires. I pulled the engine myself. I got there& fired the engine up. It ran very good& had no noises& did not smoke. Did not have blow by either. Oil level was good. Held good oil pressure after warmed up. I know these engines were used in many different things, combines, tractors, wheel loaders& probably power units. ... moreMay have to change front or back plates or even pan but same general block& such. This is a good complete engine. Pump is worth quite abit by itself. This ran good& seemed just fine but it is sold as is. There is no shipping on this item, you will have to pick it up yourself. Note that"Repair" is covered in a separate manual; CTM100, which I do not have) Issued 09-97. Large shop/service manual, about 1/2" thick. This is the same manual your John Deere dealer would use when working on these engines. If you own a piece of equipment with this engine, this manual would make a valuable addition to your shop library. Damage to 4 fold-out charts from being stuck together. Photocoipes of these 4 charts from an identical manual are included with purchase to ensure no information is missing. Rest of manual has no damage. But is a bit wrinkled from moisture. The 4 fold-out charts are made from a diffent paperstock that apparently is more sensitive to moisture and got stuck together, while other pages did not get stuck. Which was the longest running tractor in John Deere History Made in U.S.A. Catalog consists of 20 pages of information about info about the Model D Tractor and explains what parts and what attachments can be used with the tractor The catalog measures 8.25 inches long and 10.75 inches wide This catalog and the other 12 i will be listing i believe. But i'm not 100% sure on, are from a deceased local collector here in Franklin, TN where steam tractors were very common back in the day. His collection was donated to the War Memorial Public Library in Franklin in 1972. The library when undergoing renovations ... moregot rid of many books and items and these were included. They were found in an old store house that was about to be torn down to build a new hotel. They were found with many other vintage early books from the late 1800's and early 1900's. I have thirteen of these catalogs that i will be listing and some of the brands of the other catalogs are Big Fours, John Deere, Advance Threshing Co.
