GREAT RUNNING JOHN DEERE 1 1/2HP E SCALE MODEL ON TRUCKS HIT & MISS GAS ENGINE!!
You are bidding on a very high quality. Scale model of a 1 1/2hp John Deere E hit& miss engine. The engine is in fantastic shape and is mounted on a nice set of trucks. It has great compression and starts right up and will run all day. This is not an easy to build or simple model in any way. Many hours of work went into making one of these. Every part that the full size engine has, so does this one, including everything inside the crankcase. Even the gas tank is the curved tin, like the originals. It's totally complete, even has the muffler and tin pulley. Like any other model, the magneto obviously isn't functional but the detail on it is just incredible. The flywheels measure 6" The side cover even has the brass serial number tag, just like the real thing. Even the needle valve is totally correct to scale of the original. ... moreTake a look at the pictures and I'm sure you will agree, they don't get much better than this. I have seen these ignitor fired JD's advertised for upwards of $4,000. This auction is no reserve and it sells to the highest bidder. The man that owned this, took great pride in all of his models. Know that you are buying quality, and an engine that was always cared for. It will come inside a wooden carrying case, that was built for this model. Paul Breisch Lil Brother Ready to run model hit and miss engine!
Up for"Buy it now" is a Paul Breisch Lil Brother 1/4 scale Hit and miss model engine. I bought it used as a project and have finished up what I intended to do and it is now time to pass it on and move on to the next project. The entire engine was cleaned and checked and found to have low compression and a bent crankshaft. New rings made of Torlon were added. The crankshaft was straightened, carb(mixer) cleaned, valves cleaned and reseated, and it has been mounted to an aluminum base which will simplify keeping this a compact package with installing your ignition inside the base. The model comes with two extra sets of rings as well as the two installed. The flywheels are 4-1/4" The entire model on base is 12" and it is approx. 7" wide x 7" high. I had planned to repaint the engine but once cleaned up it didn't ... morelook bad and decided to keep it with its original paint. As I mentioned. You will need to add an ignition system as this engine comes without. They are available on the internet and usually cost $40.00 and up. This has been started, and ran for a short period of time but you will need to readjust things as you get your ignition system added. It was ran on gas, and also coleman camp fuel. Here is an affordable option to having one of these little gems. Without the hassle of building one from a kit which trust me, it is a LOT of work. I am currently building a Gade kit from castings, and there are many hours that go into a model engine. I will package this in a wooden box. Lined with packing material and then inside a cardboard box for shipping. It will also be insured.

Nice original International McCormick Deering fuel pump in very good condition. This fuel pump will fit 1 1/2. 3 and 6 HP models. The body is in excellent shape with no cracks or repairs. The pot metal is very nice with no aging cracks. Threads are all good. The pump has the plunger, spring and packing keeper. Also has both check balls. The pump will need some cleaning. Witte Model B oil well engine not hit miss
For sale is a Witte model B 10 HP oil field pump jack engine. It is set up to run on well head gas. Easy conversion to propane. Clutch works as it should. There are no breaks or welds on this engine. It has been kept inside since removed from the well. All I did was clean the points, prime it with gasoline and it started on the first turn after sitting 10 years. It carries great oil pressure, no knocks or smoke and is very smooth running, sits still on the skids at all RPMs. I have not tried to run it on natural gas or propane but see no reason why it would not work as it should. I do not have a starting crank handle. I will not ship this item. We can load it with a forklift. Please read the terms carefully. They are not complicated. This item must be picked up. I will not ship it. It also must be paid for at time of pick up and within 7 ... moredays of end of auction unless you have made other arrangements prior to bidding. Fairbanks Morse Hit & Miss Gas Engine Magneto Model R Fits Z D Dishpan & Others
Nice original Fairbanks Morse type R magneto in very good condition. Includes a magneto gear and breather plate for a Fairbanks Morse Model Z Style D. The magneto has very good blue spark just turning it by hand. The body is in excellent shape with no cracks or repairs. The point cover has some wear to it. Not sure what happened there. Also the gear has been repaired in two places. It looks like a good repair and may have run this way. The pot metal is very nice with no aging cracks. Both mounting ears are good. The bushings are good with very little play. The teeth on the gear are excellent. This magneto was also used on the Dishpan style engine as well as many other Fairbanks Z engines. This Auction Is For One Very Nice Old One Cylinder Engine That Was Recently Taken Out Of Service In The Oilfield& Replaced With An Electric Motor And Two Parts Engines That Are 75% 80% Complete But Stuck! These are all three Fairbanks Morse Model Number 208's. The one turns over& it still has good compression when the flywheels are turned over by hand. It is mainly missing the magneto and carburetor but another carburetor is included as pictured. This engine may very possibly be in good running order. This auction at no reserve is for an Antique Jefferson Electric Vibrating Coil Ignition Box. I read that it could be used for a Hit& Miss or Ford Model A or T engine. I believe this is a rare version as I cannot find another with this circular badge as opposed to the rectangle badge. I do not know a lot about the item. It appears to be mahogany wood. The original Jefferson Electric metal badge is still present. This item is sold as is because I have no way to test it. It looks like it is in very good condition. I contacted the man that created a website of the history of the Jefferson Electric Company. And he said it was in great condition. Up for bid is a nice old Maytag model 92 gas engine. This one is often referred to by collectors as the model 19. The distinguishing feature on the type 19 is the bolt on kick pedal part number S295. Starter segment part number S296, and starter segment guard partS 297 which has a caution plate riveted to it. According to the manual"Maytag Multi-Motor" I got from Larry Benton years ago there were only 8000 pieces of there S295 pedal made. This a very rare engine. Other parts on original engines include Short deep fuel tank S 279. S 232 cover for the fuel tank with recessed letters, screw on air cleaner, and ball oiler. I have owned this engine for many years in my collection of Maytags and it has always been heated garage kept under the work bench. I have never tried to even start it. David Bradley Experimental Briggs Model U Engine Walk Behind Tractor Hit Miss
I purchased this engine at the auction at the Bradley show last year. I spoke with the owner who worked on the assembly line and his father was a engineer. He was not sure what they used it on! He told me that it was a experimental engine basically test engine for something. Engine has spark and seems to have some compression. I did not run engine but I don't think is would take much to get going. There were several big db collectors there that can attest to the fact this came from a engineer at the David Bradley Plant. Look at gas tank has db red on it and muffler hold down also has the red. The cable and throttle lever also are David Bradley. Cable is aprox 50 inches long. This vintage K-W Model T 6-cylinder Magneto was made of mostly non-magnetic metal including brass and is heavy. It is approximately 9" long. 4-1/4" wide and 6-7/8" tall while the 4 threaded base holes are all evenly spaced about 2" on center. No idea what the original application was but came from estate of Hit& Miss Engine/Ford Model T collector. Appears good clean used with expected wear. Bakelite cap is missing 2 screw-on terminals. Antique Briggs & Stratton Motor MODEL FH Hit and Miss washing machine gas engine
This is a really rare. Nice old kick-start washing machine motor made by Briggs and Stratton. It is Model# FH Serial# 50538. The Patent Date is: 9-21-26. I tried looking up the serial number, and the information I found says it was actually manufactured in 1928. This little engine is truly a barn find that I picked up years ago. Other than the oil I put in the cylinder after pulling the spark plug, it is just as I found it, spider webs, dust and dirt and all. It turns over well, seems to have good compression, and gave me a jolt when I grabbed the plug while turning it over. I didn't try to start it because I have been told it is not good for older engines like this that have been sitting for a long time to try to start them before cleaning up the gas tank, carburetor, etc. It looks like an easy restoration with no dents, dings, or damage ... moreanyplace that I can see. If you want a rare engine that is a true survivor from the good ole days for that special project, washing machine restoration, or unique antique engine collection this may be just what you are looking for. Vintage 1920-30s Homelite model D,110 volts AC generator hit miss engine motor
Antique Homelite farm/ranch generator engine with flat belt pulley. Turns over nice and has good compression. Marked model D 110 volts 600amp serial# 1234. Don't know much about it. Pulled it out of an old barn. I'll try to answer ques. if I can. Thing weighs about 100lbs. I'll package it up and take it to UPS for $15 and you pay the shipping or you can pick it up anytime in the next 3-4 months as long as it's paid for first.
