Old HERCULES ECONOMY Hit Miss Gas Engine Starting Crank Steam Magneto Oiler NICE
This is a very hard to find original cast iron starting crank for a 1 1/2 or 2hp Hercules or Economy hit and miss or throttling governor gas engine. It is in perfect condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It is part number 177F and fits on a 1 1/4 inch crankshaft and would certainly work on any engine that it fits on but it came from the factory with a Hercules and Economy engine. The tab that grabs the gib key is in great shape. The spinner on the handle is not stuck. These original cranks are almost impossible to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you've been looking for one here's your chance. You might not use it to start your engine but it surely makes your restoration more complete! The pictures tell the story. You won't be disappointed in any way. Good Luck.

The engine in the photos is the engine you are bidding on. This engine is in rough condition. It may be missing a few parts. It is rusted. The large crank moves but the small ones are frozen up. I have never seen it run and was told it has not run in at least ten years. It has been sitting outside under a tarp for about ten years. I received it in this condition and have not done anything to it except wrap it back up in a tarp and put it in my driveway. Someone needs to rescue this motor. I had plans on setting this up with my collection of antiques and never got around to doing any of it. I hate having it wasting away outside. This is an as-is sell with no warranty or guarantee. The engine as stated is in need, of a rebuild, overhaul. The engine tag is still on it with the serial number which is 359528. M1 Webster Magneto Igniter 1 1/2 HP Economy Hercules Gas Engine Hit Miss
Here is a very rare piece! This magneto and igniter is for the small Hercules built engines. M1 is for the 1 1/2 HP engines I believe. This is a nice mag and everything on it is in good condition as far as I can see. I haven't tested it. But it looks like it should work with a bit of cleanup. The band on top of the magnets will need straightening out. Points and mag move fine. Don't miss it as there are not enough of these to go around! Old 303K30 HERCULES ECONOMY Hit Miss Gas Engine Webster Magneto Ignitor Oiler
This is a rather tough to find original Webster magneto ignitor bracket for a 1 1/2hp Hercules or Economy hit and miss gas or throttle governed gas engine. This is most likely an upgrade bracket to mount a larger. Hotter magneto on your engine as most of the small Hercules and Economy's came with the Webster M magneto. It mounts with two 3/8 inch holes 1 3/4 inches apart on center. Please measure your engine to be sure it fits your application. It is bracket number 303K30 and is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. There is almost no noticeable wear on the movable shaft. The points have a lot of life left in them. Everything works as it should. The advance/retard lever moves nicely but the roller is stuck. After the roller is freed up and the the fahnestock clip and return spring are replaced it will ... morebe ready to be used on an engine. It would also make a great spare on the shelf. You are bidding on a very nice. Rod and piston that is correct for 1 1/2, 1 3/4, and 2hp Economy, Hercules, Arco, and Jaeger engines. Pistons is 3 1/4" Skirt looks great, and so do the rings. Rod looks to be in really nice shape as well, the only negative thing to say, is one of the bearing inserts is cracked, you can buy a brand new set of inserts for about $20, or pour your own for much less. Here is a 303M1 Webster igniter bracket. This will fit the 1-1/2hp to 2hp Hercules and Economy engines. It in great shape but there is a washer in between the moveable electrode and igniter bracket body. It may or may not seal up because of this. This would be easy for any machine shop to tune up. It is also missing the return spring but that is just a simple little spring that can be bought at any hardware store. Take a look at the pictures. Part number 303M1 The gasket surface is dirty in the pictures but will clean up fine. No cracks. Breaks, or welds! You are bidding on a very nice. Fresh off the engine, 12" clutch pulley for Economy, Hercules, and Jaeger engines. This pulley will fit 2 1/2- 14hp engines. The bolt spacing on centers is 9 1/2" The pulley is missing the hand wheel. This pulley was used just as a normal belt pulley for the last half of it's life which I believe is why they took the hand wheel off. They also flipped the collar over. I believe all you need to do is flip the collar back over, buy a hand wheel(I think they are being reproduced) and hook up the two linkages. This pulley is in great shape, NO cracks, breaks or welds anywhere. Hercules clutch pulleys of any size are very few and far between and are in high demand. If you need one, don't pass it up, this one doesn't need much at all to be put back into use! You are bidding on a rare fully functioning 1/3rd scale model of a 1920s Hercules Drag Saw. The full sized version of these saws were very popular on farms throughout the 1920s and 1930s as the wheels could be rotated so that the saw could be pulled into the woods.then when the wheels were shifted 90 degrees the saw could be worked along the length of a felled tree cutting the trunk into bucks for firewood or splitting into shingles. This model operates exactly like the full size prototype and cuts through 6" logs. The entire drag saw is self contained.buzz coil ignition components including battery are contained within the wood box that is mounted on the drag saw rails.this is exactly the same configuration as the full size prototype. While visits to farm shows will regularly find full size drag saws in operation. FUEL FILLER for 1-1/2hp to 2hp HERCULES ECONOMY JEAGER ARCO Hit& Miss Gas Engine
Up for sale is a hard to find Fuel Filler for a 1 1/2-2 HP Hercules. Economy, Yaeger or Arco Hit&Miss Engine, Please read discription and Look at all Pictures as they are a part of the discription. I found this part in the water hopper of an engine I purchased, I have since found an original tank and filler for that engine, so I dont need this one. I lightly glass beadblasted, not sand blasted it to remove light rust, dirt and what little remaining paint was left, as seen in the last three pics. I went a step further and gave it three coats of gray primer, its basically ready to paint and put to work on Your Tank/Engine. It is in great condition, however inside the threaded hole, someone had built up three evenly spaced beads of weld which covered 2-3 threads, I dont know why? I carefully ground out the welds with a Dremel Tool and ran ... morea 5/8-11 tap into it to clean up the threads, it was a short tapered tap, I think if a straight bottoming tap were used it would clean them even better, it should work fine, it could be sleeved and retapped, bored and tapped to a larger size, or even weld, braze or solder a pipe into it, it is still a good usuable, hard to find part, being sold as is, any questions, please ask!
