Priming Cup Hit Miss Gas Engine Hercules Fairbanks Morse IHC Stover Oil Field
This offering is for one nice little but big priming cup for some old one lunger or maybe a car. 1/4" threads and it stands over 2.5" tall plus the handle. This was in a larger engine of some type. Its a nice primer to look at. Its not worn out. Slight rounding to some of the hex edges but not horrible. It will polish up if you want but I left the patina in case someone wants it all natural. You are bidding on a real nice AB-33 Bosch magneto for a Fairbanks Morse Z engine. The mag does throw a spark but it's pretty weak. May only need a points filing or a charge. I have no idea. Points look very nice. Only damage is where the spark plug wire goes in, it's chipped out as you can see. Hard to come by mag so don't pass it up! This magneto will fit ALL sizes of Fairbanks Z engines, the only thing that changes between sizes is the trip dog. The one on this is for a 3hp. Feel free to ask questions. Old Fairbanks-Morse Z Hit and Miss Gas Engine Crank Guard Magneto Oiler
This is a crank guard for a Fairbanks-Morse Z hit and miss gas engine. I believe it is for the 1 1/2 and 2hp Z and Dishpan Z engines. It mounts on 7 1/2 inch bolt centers under the main bearing bolts so measure your engine to be sure. It is in excellent condition except the ears have been professionally repaired. Once it's painted and on the engine. You'll never see it. Otherwise there aren't any additional repairs. These are often missing on engines so don't miss your chance to make yours complete! Fairbanks Morse Oilfield engine 12 Volt Friction Starter stationary
This is for starting Fairbanks Morse or other stationary flywheel engines. I am not really sure how it would attach but the rubber wheel presses up against the flywheel. Rare 1/2 Scale Fairbanks Morse 1A Eclipse Hit Miss Steam Gas Engine Model Oiler
Wow! What a great find. Just picked this up at a local flea market in a box and in pieces. A 1/2 scale Fairbanks Morse 1A Model Engine. It appears to have some work done but needs to be completed! It has a piston and rod and seems to have good compression. The valves are nicely done and cam is good. The flywheels are round and true. They measure 7" diameter. Total engine height is 12" There are no cracks or breaks to be found. The pictures tell the story. I have done some research on these and couldn't find a lot of information. These were made about 25 to 30 or so years ago and not many were casted. This would be a great project for a collector. I will ship to anywhere worldwide. If shipped outside the United States. The engine will be dis-assembled to fit in a flat rate box and will be packaged well.

Old Original 10hp Fairbanks Morse Z Hit Miss Gas Engine Crank Guard Steam NICE!!
This is an EXTREMELY hard to find original crank guard for a 10hp Fairbanks Morse Z gas engine. It is the sheet metal version and is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It measures 10 3/8 inches wide at it's widest and 29 1/2 inches long. It has surface rust from hanging around an old farm shop for decades but would clean up and paint quite nicely. These are MUCH harder to find than the smaller Z guards so if you need one don't miss your chance on this one. I can't recall ever seeing another one for sale even here on Ebay. Fairbanks Morse Hit & Miss Engine parts WELL WARTER PUMP
this auction is for what I think is a hit and miss engine? the large cast piece says Fairbanks in the cast. Any help would be great,these came from an old barn that was about to be taken down. no clue what they are other then looking on eBay, I think they are to much of Americana to scrap. hope some one would like to save them. please ask questions and I would love to know what they really are. great original green/blue paint. the wheel moves free and runs a rod and some kind of piston inside the large cast item. selling all as one lot, I also found what looks like an a/c motor next to these other parts? to heavy o ship. Old Fairbanks Morse Z 3 6hp Hit Miss Gas Engine Sumter Magneto Gear Ignitor
Here is a real nice original cast iron magneto gear for a Fairbanks Morse gas engine. It is part number ZB 142 and measures about 3 11/16 inches in diameter with a 1/2 inch face. It has a 3/8 inch hole for the magneto armature shaft and the keyway is in great shape. It has 35 teeth and they are in great shape. They have very little noticeable wear if any at all. I believe this gear is for the 3 and 6hp Z engines with a rotary magneto and ignitor ignition. This gear has no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind and is ready to be put to work on an engine. The gear you receive may not be the one in the photos but it is just as nice as it as I have more than one of these. These originals are getting pretty tough to find. Don't miss it. Good Luck.

1 1/2 HP Fairbanks Morse ,Hit and Miss Engine Govenor Assembly
This came off of a running 1 1/2 HP Fairbanks Morse Throttle Gov. Engine. It would also work on the Hit and Miss version if you have the correct contact assembly to put on it. This is cast iron.Not pot metal as the later housings were. This has the post on the cam gear to trip the arm of the Bosch AB 33 Magneto. This will also run the 2 HP model,just make sure your gears are straight cut and not angle cut.The later Bosch and Fairbanks Morse gear driven Magnetos will also work with this Gov. Assembly. Hit Miss Gas Engine 1 1/2 - 3 hp Fairbanks and Morse cart
Here is what was a 3 hp cart. It used the angle iron rails. One rail has been cut off. So I am placing the 1 1/2 hp pressed steel frame with this, to make it more appealing. If using this tin frame, the front bolster riser, the pressed steel support) would be too wide for the tin frame. One would have to find on for this application, or bend this one to work, or replace the one cut off angle iron and use it as a 3 hp, and have the pressed tin frame for a spare. The tin frame is in good enough condition. I see no major flaws. There are no washers with this cart. It does have a handle that needs a little attention. The wheels are ok. I am going to work on this a little. And take some more pictures. Only one rear bolster sells, and I plan to remove the hitch pin thing. I do not accept offers as a general rule. So please do not send me low ball ... moreoffers, if no one has bid, I will not take them. I am just trying to get some gas money. To go to Coolsprings on, I do not want to swear I am going, so do not want to say I will deliver there. A free local pick up is good, I meet people at the I 80 truck stop, in Urbandale. Such as tape, and gas to town, but I have not been charging for this, and ebay now charges me final value fee's on the shipping, plus pay pal, I do loose money on shipping. This manual is a booklet format of 12 pages plus the covers measuring about 6" x 9" The Type"Z" Engine was introduced by Fairbanks, Morse& Co. in 1916 and I believe this manual, published October 1915, is the first instruction manual on these engines ever published by the company. The front cover reads: First Edition 20M-Oct. 1915- Instructions No. 2407 For Setting Up And Operating Fairbanks-Morse 1 1/2 H.P. Type"Z" Hit and Miss Gasoline Engines- Fairbanks, Morse& Co. Incorporated) Copyright 1915, Fairbanks, Morse& Co. This manual is illustrated with a few diagrams and drawings and is an original antique published ... moreby Fairbanks Morse close to 100 years ago. This manual has a bit of loss to the lower left hand corner of the front cover not affecting any text or illustrations and is otherwise fully complete. The front cover is detatched along the spine but everything is laid neatly together and the cover could be reattached with tape if you wanted to do that. There is some toning to the paper from age and one page is lightly soiled but overall condition is good. The Fairbanks Morse would make a number improvements over the years and would go on to sell over 550.000 of these"Z" Engines which were manufactured well in the 1940s. Hand Crank Fairbanks Morse Z Stationary Engine Hit Miss Beautiful Condition
Up for auction is an amazing Fairbanks Morse"Z" Engine: Hand Crank. The condition is amazing. All I did was wipe it down with an oily rag. that was it. If you look in the last pic. You can see the original Dark Green Color. Ratchet catch(Dog? is in very good condition. The spring looks nice and sound, but is a little weak. CASTING NUMBERS: ZBA728A There is also a separate" Z" and the number 14. A letter" B" is also by itself along with a capital R inside a circle. Someone's going to have fun with this.

Old Fairbanks Morse J ZD Hit Miss Gas Engine Motor Magneto Gear Rebuilt Hot NICE
This is a real nicely refurbished Fairbanks Morse Model J1A2 magneto for a Fairbanks Morse ZD gas engine. It may have other applications but it has a ZD gear on it. It has been completely gone through and rebuilt. If it needed something it got it. It turns over nicely with excellent bearings and puts out a nice hot spark that is sure to run your engine. It has been painted and made to look like a new magneto so it would look great on a restored engine. It mounts with two holes 3 7/8 inches apart on center. The only blemish it has is a small"dent" on the base as I've noted in the pictures. This doesn't affect it's performance and will not be seen when it is mounted on the engine. These magnetos are rather tough to find and often require several hundred dollars to rebuild. The work on this one is done and it's ready ... morefor use. It would even make a great spare on the shelf. The pictures tell the story. You won't be disappointed in any way. Good Luck.

I have an Fairbanks Morse Type R Magneto. It's hot. The base is in excellent shape. I believe it's set up for the 1-1/2HP Type Z Fairbanks Engines. This mag was rebuilt about two years ago and then got set on a shelf. Nice blue spark. Ships USPS Medium Flat Rate Box for $14.00. I pack everything with shipping foam and bubble wrap.
