This is a crank guard for a Fairbanks-Morse Z hit and miss gas engine. I believe it is for the 1 1/2 and 2hp Z and Dishpan Z engines. It mounts on 7 1/2 inch bolt centers under the main bearing bolts so measure your engine to be sure. It is in excellent condition except the ears have been professionally repaired. Once it's painted and on the engine. You'll never see it. Otherwise there aren't any additional repairs. These are often missing on engines so don't miss your chance to make yours complete! This is a large brass machine oiler. I have never seen an oiler made like this one. So I am not sure for what it was used. Overall length ia 10 1/2 inches. The reservoir is 3 1/2 inches tall and approximately 4 1/4 in diameter. It has four ports, not sure how they work? The most unusual thing, is the electrical solenoid, which apparent controls the valve to control the flow of oil? It is in excellent condition. It has no makers mark! Lightly cleaned to show lettering and maker marks. Solid. Glass intact, although there are several scratches in the glass. All measurements are to the best of my ability with a micrometer and old eyes. 3 and 5/8 inches long. Glass is 1 1/2 inches wide. Bottom nut is 3/4 inch. Orifice is 3/16 inch. Old Madison Kipp Rumely Hart Parr Tractor Hit Miss Gas Engine Oiler Steam NICE!
This is a very nice original and extremely tough to find Madison Kipp#50 four feed mechanical lubricator or oiler for a Rumely or Hart Parr tractor. They had several other applications including Fairbanks Morse engines and others. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind except for a chip out of the glass in the sight on one side. This doesn't affect it's operation at all. The unit measures about 5 1/2 x 9 x 14 inches long overall. It mounts with two holes about 10 inches apart on center. It has some nice original dark green paint on it which is probably Rumely. It is in excellent condition inside and everything seems to work as it should. It ratchets nicely and has all four of the original brass elbows on it yet. These lubricators are getting harder to find every day even at swap meets so if you've ... morebeen looking for one to finish a project or for a spare on the shelf don't miss this one. In excellent vintage condition. This came from a box that had new old stock in it. But I cannot say for certainty this has not been used, although there is an'inked' price written on the top band. Inside the glass there is no'residue' that would indicate use. Maker mark has PIC Or PC 600(those in the'know' will know which) Glass is intact with no chips or cracks. Length overall 3.5 inches. Swivel cap cover stamped: Pat March 15. 1887. Other stamp on arm appears to read Pat. Dec 31. 89. On the glass there is a'line' that looks like a scratch. This is a very nice oiler that is very similar to a Lunkenheimer but has no markings; maybe it is a Lunkenhiemer? I'm not an expert. I do not know for sure. Seems to be in unused condition as the cork gasket appears as good as new. Old Cretors Popcorn Wagon Steam Engine Hit Miss Gas Tractor Magneto Oiler NICE!
This is an old Cretors popcorn wagon steam engine that was offered by Paul Breisch several years ago. It measures about 23 1/2 inches long and has a 8 1/2 inch flywheel. It turns over nicely and I hooked it up to air and it runs just as it should. It has lots of brass parts that would look great all polished up. I don't know who did the machine work on it but it was done pretty nicely. It does need some"period" looking fasteners but this would be pretty simple. Wow! What a great find. Just picked this up at a local flea market in a box and in pieces. A 1/2 scale Fairbanks Morse 1A Model Engine. It appears to have some work done but needs to be completed! It has a piston and rod and seems to have good compression. The valves are nicely done and cam is good. The flywheels are round and true. They measure 7" diameter. Total engine height is 12" There are no cracks or breaks to be found. The pictures tell the story. I have done some research on these and couldn't find a lot of information. These were made about 25 to 30 or so years ago and not many were casted. This would be a great project for a collector. I will ship to anywhere worldwide. If shipped outside the United States. Old Original Marsh Steam Engine Tractor Water Pump Hit Miss Gas Magneto Oiler
This is a pretty nice original Marsh steam pump built by the American Steam Pump Company in Battle Creek. Michigan. It is in good condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs that I can find or know of. Everything on it moves freely as it should. The only flaw that I know of is that it needs a piston on the big end and the cover for that end along with a few fasteners. These should be easy to make and then you'll have a perfect pump. It measures about 17 inches long and about 12 1/2 inches tall. These pumps certainly don't turn up very often in the wild or even at swap meets so if you've been looking one don't miss your chance on this one. It's a pretty nice one. International Harvester IH M hit and miss engine oiler
Old original oiler for an IHC Model M engine I believe. It's in good overall condition. The upper glass has a chip but does not look like it would leak oil or otherwise affect the oiler's functionality. There are a few wrench marks on the hex and a few dings here and there but all in all it's nice for +/ 100 year old oiler. Please look at the pictures and decide for yourself. I would say it's a#3 oiler. About identical in size to a#3 Lunkenheimer Sentinel. The pipe threads are 3/8 inch npt and are in good condition. This is an extremely hard to find original cast iron multi feed oiler for a hit and miss gas engine or steam engine or tractor. The reservoir is cast iron and this oiler is quite heavy! It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs other than a flat sight glass on one end of the reservoir and one of the sights has a coupler soldered to the bottom of it to accept a different fitting. The oiler measures about 4 inches in diameter and about 19 inches long over all. It is a nine feed oiler and all of the adjustment stems are in great shape and work as they should. I'm not sure if this is Lunkenheimer, Lonergan, American Lubricator, American Injector, Penberthy, Essex, Detroit, or otherwise but the levers on top look a lot like Lunkenheimer. This is an original magneto bracket for a Lauson or Alpha hit and miss gas engine. I believe it is for the 1 1/2 and 2 1/2hp engines but measure your engine to be sure. It is part number W124. It bolts in as a replacement for an igniter. It has been repaired in one spot but it was very nicely done and is pretty tough to notice. The overall condition is nice. No other cracks.Breaks or repairs. It mounts to the engine with two 7/16" holes that are 2-3/8" apart on center. The pictures tell the story. Take a look! Good luck.

For auction I have a Brass AMERICAN INJECTOR Co. HIT MISS STEAM ENGINE OILER#3 w/ Glass Sight 5/8" pipe fitting. The glass itself measures 3/16" thick and does have a crack in it. It must have been used with this crack as there is oil between the glass in the crack itself. There is no gaskets for giving it a tight seal. It measures 6 1/4" tall x 2 1/2" across.
